Hey man! What are your/the clinic's recommendations in regards to hair wax and hairspray? When is it ok to go pre-op nuts? @Marco Van Basten have you started styling your hair with products? -

Hey again! Hope everyone out there is doing good. Took some pictures of my 3rd month progression. I do think that growth has kicked in and I look forward to the times ahead! Thinking out loud: I've never had thinning or recession of the centre part of my hairline. However it's looking quite thin at the moment. And since I didn't lower the hairline from the centre I suppose it's either shock loss since grafts were implanted over existing ones. Or it's permanent loss of those old natural grafts for the same reason. Either way I'm hoping for the implanted grafts to fill in this area in the end. Take care guys!

Dr. Bruno Pinto - 2025 grafts - Nov. 18th
ConnorCrosby replied to JDEE0's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
You're reasoning not only when it comes to this but in general makes very much sense and you have a very sober way of thinking. When I look back on my 27 year old self I was kinda obsessed with getting the straighter NW1 hairline. I'm glad I came to realise the risks with that kind of correction as I age. Not only in terms of running out of donor as I might have a bigger area to play catch up with but also in terms of estethics. A NW2 hairline will always look solid no matter how old you are. In my opinion much more so than a NW1 hairline. It's also interesting - at my surgery the right side was also created a tad bit higher than the left. I pointed it out and gently asked for it to be more symmetric, but the doctor insisted. In that situation I felt like I had to put my trust in the clinic's competence and experience. You can clearly see the difference in my pictures taken from in front of me, even if it's very subtle. I'm sure it's gonna be fine though and I hope it won't bother me. We also have the same distance between the glabella and the hairline! Looking forward to follow the upcoming hair journey. -
My seat belt is fastened!

Two months/8 weeks check in. Kinda hard to tell, but I did trim back and sides a couple of weeks ago. It grows quite fast.

What to do next?

I had no idea and has not been informed about this. I understand that it's not your profession, but based on the knowledge that you do have - do you know what potential risks the combination has on the prostate? Obviously wouldn't wanna mess with my health more than necessary. -
Very High Density forehead reduction (3361 grafts)
ConnorCrosby replied to Fue3361's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Damn bro! Don't think I've ever seen a result this dense this fast. Whatever happened to the really short strands of hair that neither shed or grew the first month? I have a considerable amount of them myself. Also started worrying about them being dead or something.. -
What to do next?

If you don't mind me asking - why is it highly ill-advised to take both dut and fin? I've been on 1mg fin six times per week and 1 avodart per week for quite some time myself. -
Let's hope fore survivors. Thanks for taking your time JD! Really appreciate it.
-
You are totally in the right. Time flies! So basically - the hair that forms the stubble as per now will eventually shed and end result will not be affected by this? Those grafts are not "dead"? To be clear, I'd say that the majority of the transplanted grafts have shed and then there's a few of them that seem to have started to grow.

Celebrating 4 weeks today and I really don't enjoy these times. I look far worse than before and I know it's a long way until I'm on the other side of the hill. I do have a question. Perhaps someone knows - there's a lot of hairs in the recipient area that has not shed nor grown. They are simply the exact length as after the surgery. What's the deal? I'll update my case with pictures monthly from now on. Take care everyone!

Slightly less loss, but your general hair quality is running circles around mine! -
No worries, bro!

For sure! The cost is 3.5 euro/graft. The clinic accept cash only which is a bit of a hassle. To a lousy exchange rate I converted my money into euro and since I got fewer grafts operated I've ended up with 2200 euro in my wallet. My bank does not handle cash at all, so my only option now is to convert the euros back to the same lousy exchange rate and basically shop groceries for the cash for a few months. In the end I think that it's gonna cost me around 700 euro, only for the fact that the clinic doesn't have any modern payment solutions.

Yeah, I'm not crazy right? The NW0s will never know the struggle!
