@hairman22 It’s getting thicker by the week. 10 months will be great.

Wow, It is very rare on this forum that somebody posts so many detailed videos, thank you for them!

So this video answers Berba's question "how this looks with the hair brushed forward"

And it looks very good. On this stage you can get maybe little cut on the fringe and wear your hair combed forward like after 1st HT and now it is fuller.

But of course it's up to you, now you can change hair styles

To be honest, this paste that you used in recent update pictures isn't best for the volume of hair, because it is glueing hair together.

When i had longer hair and tried combed back hairstyle, i tested different products and some were glueing hair and other not. For example sea salt spray which was recommended here by many users, it was very good for the volume. Spraying all around the scalp and then blowdrying was doing the job.

Yeah I temporarily changed products. I was using the Kevin Murphy Free Hold but ran out. Switched to the got2b texturizing clay and it’s too intense and sticky. Just today I bought some sea salt spray and some redken brews. I’ll use the sea salt for dry look and redden for the slicked back look. Hopefully this helps others

To your other point I’ll probably go back to pushing the hair up at some point.

Jesus man, before clicking/downloading those videos I was scared it might be p*rn...

And I was right 🤣 Simply hair p*rn. The result is so natural, super happy for you man. And with dr.Zarev the final result is around month 9/10 so it'll only get better.

And thanks for the efforts and sharing !

lol. I hope it helps. There was only one Zarev patient in here when I went.

Your donor still looks thick. How many grafts do you have left?

Doc says 2,500 left for future balding. That'll be when my parietal/lateral humps bald as well as in case my crown goes a bit lower. I don't remember very well but I think he said after the 2,500 that 60% of my donor would have been used at that point. Don't quote me, I wasn't taking notes during the second post op convo.

  3. Yeah, I never felt like I got a good enough explanation of why FUT then FUE yield more grafts. I can see the argument from a coverage and planning standpoint but once grafts are moved they're moved. I've had 12k grafts moved FUE and no one can tell when looking at my donor area. Only I can tell when I've slept on it weird or something. However, I did go the the best FUE-scalp hair-only surgeon in the world. He's the only one I can recommend for that number of grafts. I'm sure I could still get an FUT and it would be covered just fine, not that I'll ever need to.

Awesome result! How do some doctors be able to get so many grafts while others can take a maximum of 4/5000 ? An average donor has about 5/6000 available or something? Does this doctor has a totally different way of extracting or something? Really nice result.

Please read this entire thread and other Zarev threads as your question has been addressed many times. Short answer: He plans better than anyone, he uses smaller punches than anyone, he has handheld technology that is better than anyone, he has planning software that is unique that he built, and he takes from a larger area of the donor than most.

Do you mean that Dr. Zarev is soon training other doctors to shorten the waitlist? 😀

@Fox243 I just mean in general. No idea when Zarev will start training. But other docs seeing it is possible will start trying to replicate it. It will be several years off but someone will crack the code.

Do you have any styling product in your hair in these recent photos?

@Hair4Days I haven’t been using any product for 7 months. I don’t know what to do with it now that it’s curly. Need to cut it and get some product in it. I’m sure it will look much better.
