  1. Hi everyone!
I'm sure if you're experiencing hairloss and researching hair transplant surgeons you may have come across FUExpert Clinic.
This clinic is always fully booked and the waiting list can be up to a year (sometimes more).

Hair transplant results from this clinic that are posted online is astonishing! in fact, almost too good to be true?

Take a look at some of these results from their official instagram, the density seems impossible for the graft count of each procedure.

What do you guys think, real? fake? edited? legitimate?

If you check out this study (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8061642/), a big portion of guys lost density, and finasteride wasn’t shown to have a statistically significant impact on keeping or losing those transplanted hairs. It’s counterintuitive to what I’ve always read, which is why I’m confused

I see what you mean, it really appears to be how sensitive you are to DHT?
Men also thin in the donor area, it happens. Maybe someone can weigh in some personal experience.

Stress could also be brought into discussion relating to hair loss.
I do find the buffer argument interesting however (diameter of extraction influences area affect).

  3. Hi, I was wondering if the hair restoration network would be interested in having a form for users to apply as moderators?

I've been on this forum for 2 years and it seems there is only one moderator (who does a good job by the way!).

There are members such as @Gatsby that I think would do a wonderful job.

    @SeanToman,

Congratulations on your recent FUE procedure.  I don’t know all of your details but you look pretty young. My opinion, I would not touch the crown at this point but instead, consider using non-surgical solutions such as finasteride and minoxidil for at least a year or two to see how they work for you. In the early stages of hair loss such as in your case in the crown, they typically do pretty well at slowing down or stopping the progression of genetic fullness. In some cases, they may even help to reverse some of the hair loss process making your hair appear thicker without the need for surgery.

if you really feel the need to do something, I would suggest going the SMP route although I do suggest still researching and talking to a doctor about finasteride and Minoxidil. Since SMP is typically temporary, you still may want to consider non-surgeon solutions to help possibly thicken up the crown area and attempt to get your hair loss under control.

    I hope this helps.

You are so young with hair loss but have had a great result. Try to be as conservative as possible. Hold off on transplant.

    Thanks friends,
I think if I was to have a second transplant it might be when I'm 28 and only a small one for my temples?
Say around 1000 grafts maximum and no more.  Would this be a safe bet?

I understand with fixing the temples you also need to lower the hairline slightly too.
