Check out this article about ht in istanbul. One of the patients (Jay) has had his hairtransplant by elithair and he got butchered:

I would never go to a clinic like elithair to get a hairtransplant even if i was sure that in my case i would have the best result. Because this gives such clinics the power and money to f%ck up someone elses life.

Wow! Great find! I scanned over the article briefly but can say its highly informative. Its appalling what these Turkish clinics like Elithair are doing to guys.

Although I get the gist of it, I will be reading it in full once I have the time.

    Very good eyeopener! Thank you!

Elithair really forces you to leave a good review while you're in their clinic.

I think a lot of clinics also do this to push ratings before patents even see their results.

  2. I personally got a good result after choosing elithair based on positive reviews I found online (YouTube vlog channels).

However, because I got a good result it doesn't guarantee that you will also, they could have a completely whole new tech team since 2 years ago.
That said, I've only seen them produce good results, despite being a hairmill.  They also work within a hospital which was comforting.

And for €2400, it was an amazing transformation compared to where I was.

Dr. Couto is both an incredible surgeon and an incredible artist, if you can afford him.. please choose him over elithair.
It's a gamble, your donor area is not unlimited, it's better to stay safe than sorry.

A slightly cheaper alternative to Couto is Eugenix, they're well known for great results also and have actual doctors do the surgery.

We live in different countries, yet im curious. How much did it cost you to do all the SMP down there? Also, do you know how much donor you have left?

I'm not entirely sure how much donor is left, I've always had thin hair so I imagine less can be extracted than most.
Eugenix thinks I could have another 1500 grafts extracted if I wanted to increase hairline density as well as improve temple work. :)

There are some older pictures here of the donor when the hair is grown a longer length.

May I ask where you got the SMP done? Only in the donor area? I have dirty blonde hair... is SMP not recommended for hair like mine? I dont think I have a problem though. Just fresh out from Hairtransplant and happy with the whole thing so far. Donor area looks okay. Just thinking for the future...

Like where do you get the SMP and is this expensive?

Hi, I got it with 'Dot Micro' in Northern Ireland.
I did not get my donor done (hoping to after a second transplant).  Instead, I got my crown/top scalp up to the hairline SMP.

By the look of your fade there It looks like a number 1 would hide the white dots you’re referring to which is still real short. As for the smp there’s a possibility you still see the perimeter of the extraction pattern paired with the pigment

Unfortunately under light you can see the extraction pattern (the rectangle shape) even as high as number 2

  6. Two years later!
I'm happy that the transplant was a success and I have not noticed any further hairloss or loss of the transplant thanks to finasteride.  I don't think there is need for any future updates since the transplant has survived this long, I'll definitely post an update if anything changes.

Best of luck to everyone with their hair transplant journeys, I hope it helps you find happiness! ❤️

(Apologies for untidy hair in photos! A little bit of hairspray and everything is in place.)

    Hi there,

Can you comment on why it's important to let the implanted hairs fully mature before implanting on them?

I'm considering a transplant somewhat overlapping transplanted areas (not much, the second will be to fill in the crown, the first was for the hairline and mid-scalp) and wondering why advice for the time you must wait varires between 6 to 12 months. Thanks.

Hi, from my understanding we want our follicles to settle safely after surgery, allowing them to grow health and return to their normal state so a second surgery doesn't cause permanent shock loss.
