Transplant in Mumbai? (non-Eugenix)
keratin_matters replied to koopher's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Eugenix does have a Mumbai clinic, I had mine done from Mumbai. You can adjust your timetable a bit but don't go anywhere else in india. Other places may indeed be doing good work.. but they have no recognition and reputation in the first place. So they're not under the pressure to be as good and consistent as the clinics that are constantly held to high standards in these forums. (Ik it sounds cynical but it's true). The only possible other option in india is Medispa but it's in jaipur. -
Right on track! Now the worst is behind you, it's only going to get better and better from here.

Eugenix Rs 75 package
keratin_matters replied to bigmistake's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
The hairline seems quite natural and dense, I'd love to know which doctor made the slits and did the supervision. Maybe @Yaasar - The Alpha would know about it. -
I'd asked the clinic for the number of singles and doubles used in my procedure. This was for my reference in case I have further procedures later in my life. Posting it here for documentation so I can refer it back in my thread years later. Also others looking for a similar graft count procedure in the front would get an idea about it.

The extractions and implantation looks good imo. I'd the opportunity to talk to Dr Somesh before my surgery with Dr Arika, and he came across as a very knowledgeable and passionate individual about hair transplants. So I'm sure your result would be great. It was ethical of them to not touch the temples, but now that the surgery is done, you must know that you've committed yourself to a lifetime of finasteride usage.

Well when you get amazing results, you ignore/forgive the negative parts of your experience because that's overthinking. Only when things go wrong is when you analyse what must have gone wrong. There's nothing sinister here but only human nature.

In my opinion you should wait till the one year mark on finasteride, some people get growth on finasteride after 5-6 months. If finasteride gives you a satisfactory result, then why waste precious grafts?

I think he was way thinner than you. Are you on finasteride? I see thin hairs in your hairline which can be thickened up with finasteride.

Dr Suneet soni or Dr Gaurang Krishna
keratin_matters replied to Hayat7's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Imo Medispa: Dr Suneet soni because you would need FUT +FUE combination. Your beard seems good so eugenix can also be a good option, but they don't do FUT which is ideal for your case according to me. -
It looks great. Also you retained many of your transplanted hair during the shedding phase. Can pull off a great look with fibres even now.

Agreed with this. My tech had an experience of 9 years. And although my donor is still recovering so the jury is still out there, but the extraction pattern itself is really good.

As someone who is a eugenix patient and loves their work, I have a recommendation which maybe helpful to avoid such circumstances. There's nothing worse than a unsatisfied patient and I'm sure this will be taken in the right spirit. Undoubtedly, the hospitality, skillset, post-op care are excellent. But there's nothing wrong with acknowledging that some improvements in the planning phase (especially in packages other than super premium) need to be done. I feel that if the doctor himself/herself cannot give more then 10 minutes per patient, there may be ways to handle this. For example, a junior doctor can have a pre-consultation with the patient for 30+ minutes and make a complete plan with punch size, punch type, exact area to be implanted, proposed donor harvest, outline of donor, desired hairline, junior doctor's proposed hairline etc. So when Dr arika walks into the room to draw the hairline, She already has the proposed plan on a iPad. Both the doctor and the patient already has a rough idea of a plan and then they can soften out the rough edges and create the perfect plan in those final 10 mins of consultation. This way the patient will feel that the plan has had a personal touch from Dr arika as she will review and change it according to her experience. And the patient will already know which questions to bring up as he would have had the time to ponder over the plan and nothing would feel rushed. I think this 2 layer approach from eugenix will solve so many of the problems here and give eugenix a final touch to be exceptional. So here are my two cents on this issue. I've just said what I felt after going through these posts, if it's a stupid or unimplementable thing then excuse my ignorance. 😅

Time for a 1 month update! Exactly one month has passed since my transplant. Here is where I am at this point: Hairline: As expected, all those baby transplanted hair have shed off at this point and I'm looking pretty bald from the front. Gotta ride out the next 3 months. My company is insisting work from office but I'm going to extend it for 3 more months anyhow. Hopefully will be presentable with some toppik by then. Donor: Left side closeup: Left side: Mirror Right side closeup: Right side mirror: Back: Back side looking really great at this point. The sides look different based on the lighting conditions. The clinic has told me to not worry about it so I'm just going to stop thinking about it for a few months now. Hopefully it's mild shock loss and will subside. Overall I see things on track and can't wait for the 6 month mark.

Eugenix | November 2022 | NW 3V | Dr. Arika Bansal
keratin_matters replied to ZeeMan's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
I took the premium package just a month ago and so far so good. Best of luck on your journey and looking forward to your updates! Good idea of staying till the first head wash, would reduce the chances for injury during travel.
