  1. @EvoXOhio Cool, sounds like you've already done your research. What's the name of this artist?

I saw here, they have offices in NYC and Chicago, you're going to the one in Chicago? I live in NYC so I'm gonna call them up and check this out, it might postpone my 2nd HT which is good

  2. Interesting, I wonder what is the difference technically. Also, it's very difficult to judge by photos. It was already explained that photos can be very deceiving. BUT I'm not going to scratch that off yet. Need to hear from ppl who have done this and see what they think

  3. Yeah from strut. You can suspend it, and so the "subscription" becomes just 1 order, that's what I did.

About the SMP, I was thinking of doing this too but I was discouraged after the place I was going to do told me that it's only worth it if you shave your head, because it might not look natural otherwise, this is what they said: you'd be required to buzz all existing hair down with a no guard clipper and maintain this length post-treatment to allow for the seamless blend of the treatment and your existing hair.

I also watched a video on youtube, where this is also explained. So I got discouraged to do it and will keep using toppik instead.

But it's just a heads up, it might still be good for you, I'm not saying not to do it, just make sure it's going to be good

Alright so I got my topical dutasteride. It’s in a gel like form, and they say to use 1-3 pumps. My issue is that even 3 pumps is hardly anything, it’s maybe the size of a nickel. I feel like no matter how I try to rub it into the scalp, I’m likely getting most if not all of it in my hair instead. I can’t figure out how to ensure it’s getting on my scalp. I think if it was a straight liquid it would be better, but for whatever reason the place I bought it from (Strut) makes it as a gel.

haha did you get it from strutyours.com? it's the same with the one I got. It'd be easier to spread this gel if we didn't have hair. I'm thinking after this bottle is over, I'm just gonna take the pill, much better, and hopefully I wont have side-effects this time

Thanks. Never heard of them, do you know someone who has used them?

No. But it's local, in the US. They have an excellent costumer service. So I'm sure it's good. Also, you have to pass by their online doctor that has to prescribe you before you can purchase it, so it's not like you can just buy it, so very good (not sketchy as this other places)

I think we're all looking for this answer. I took finasteride orally and got bad side effects. Topical dutasteride sounds almost too good to be true. Another thing that worries me is if it will affect my fertility at all. I'd like to speak to some surgeons that are compounding it, and maybe, just maybe i'll be a guinea pig. If we can check my labs before taking dutasteride and after using it for a few months. Something a bit more controlled. I think that would be really cool. So far I just know of Mwamba and maybe Wesley. Do you guys know of anyone else?

Dr. Hasson's clinic in Canada is doing topical Finasteride and has topical Dutasteride in sight. If you can manage to grab a bottle, they told me there's a 6 month waiting list and only for Canadians in Canada. Also, it has been reported by others here that Dr. Mwamba's fue clinic is invoicing ppl overseas and not shipping the product. Probably for the same reason, a lot of demand, no supply (at least Dr. Hasson's clinic won't even invoice you)

$100 a bottle is absolutely ludicrous. Lipogaine and Regenpure are still pretty expensive at $20 a bottle, but they work just as good as Nizoral with out the harshness. I understand we all want to make money, but selling shampoo at $100 a pop is insane to me.

Definitely, that's when you can tell a company is taking advantage of the multi-billion dollar hair loss market. I also should mention that I've used iRestore shampoo and I liked it. They are all good but no shampoo is gonna make the hair grow back. What really helps is finasteride and minoxidil, like you said. I've only been using these type of "hair growth" shampoos recently, in my 20s I've only used Finasteride and all regular to no shampoo and my hair was totally rockstar. So don't get fooled by expensive shampoos. I like Pura D'or cos its the cheapest. They're all the same

Exactly - you’d expect a medical profesional to primarily be using these simple kinds of density measurements for the analysis.

Yeah, I agree. Look at this doctor (below video), she measured it and concluded that PRP was helpful for about 58% of patients. Why he doesn't do the same? He doesn't have a scientific background.

That measurement could be done with Exosomes too. But assuming Exosomes is better than PRP, we could say it's more than 58%, but I agree that it will be far from 99%. I'd be willing to try if it wasn't so expensive.

    This is correct

I have measured my DHT with both

    Oral Dutasteride: 84% reduction

    Oral Finasteride: 65% reduction

    Topical Finasteride: 63% reduction

    Topical Dutasteride: 15% reduction

I have also measured my scalp DHT and will doing some biopsies again

@mustang Could you please share more info about your experience?

    1. How long have you been using this topical Dut? How often, once a day, once a week?

    2. How long does a botttle of this topical Dut last?

    3. How long did you use Finasteride pill? How often?

    4. How long did you use topical Finastride?  How often?

You get no side-effects with topical Dut but you got with Fin pils? Could you elaborate more on this?
