  1. Can anyone tell me about Demir Ilter in Sweeden? He has great Google Reviews and a huge portfolio of brilliant results on Instagram. He seems to transplant 2,000ish per procedure; no huge numbers such as 3,500 for hairline repair. His prices seem good too.
  2. Hey, Cool man. Thanks. I'll be meeting the guys from Blackrock next week so I guess I'll see what they say. 2,500 - 3,500 is quite a big job.
  3. Wow. Thanks very much for your input guys. Do you think I would get good density with 2,000 - 2,500 grafts?
  4. Only 1 or 2 of about 7 have reccomended 2,500+. I don't understand this thing of conservative or aggressive approach. I just want the hairline restored with nice lush density.
  5. Guys, thanks a lot. Its great to hear other people's opinions. I posted a long comment but it says **hidden so I don't know if you guys can see it. I wonder why or how Dr Bicer would estimate such a high number, especially given that she seems reputable and very experienced. It also makes me worry that if I go with someone who does 2,000 grafts will the result be poor, will it lack density? Choosing a surgeon and learning about this subject really is messy.
  6. That's my hair(line) while dry and also when wet. The hair in these pics is fine-combed in the direction that it grows. I've read reviews from these doctors, they're mostly good for both docs. I haven't asked them how they estimated the quantity of grafts required though, but I know that Blackrock (Dublin) don't like to transplant too many grafts in one session.
  7. Also its mentioned above that some doctors get better coverage with less grafts - why/how is this?
  8. Also, do all clinics reccomend two transplants? Dr Bicer said I might need to come back next year for a second procedure to achieve lush density, but she is the only person who has said this. I'm querying all this because she seems really really good and she is on some of the reputable boards, but then again, all of the doctors I've contacted have got good reputations.
  9. I can understand how it is diffucult to estimate based on pictures, but the difference between 1,800 and 3,000+ is stupendous. Dr Saifi in Poland qouted me 1,800, Dr Bicer in Turkey qouted 3,000 - 3,500. I really like the vibe off Dr Anastasakis (Greece) and he estimated 2,000. I have an appointment in Blackrock (Dublin) next week so I'll ask them, but they never do more than 2,000 grafts per session, and they probably won't want to tell me why one surgeon will say one thing and another surgeon will say something totally different. Why would one surgeon be conservative and another aggressive? I want my hairline restored, preferably with nice lush density.
  10. Ok, so I've been doing as much research as possible and I've contacted lots of reputable surgeons. My dilemma makes the mind boggle though. One surgeon estimated I'd need 1,800 grafts, another one reckons 3,000+. Most reckon 2,200 - 2,500. This worries me. How can the estimates vary so much?
  11. Awesome. I'll look into them so. Cheers.
  12. The result is good. 3,500 is quite a lot. The surgeons I've contacted have estimated that I'll need 1,800 to 2,800 grafts, most of them seem to say I'll need 2,300 or so. However Dr Bice's assistant gave a provisional estimate of 3,000 which I thought was high, although this still hasn't been clarified and I'm still waiting to hear back from Bice personally. Concerning the above comment - lol she's a bit of a dream alright
  13. Looks good bro. I had a good customer service experience with Bicer myself. How many grafts did you get and can you show us a pic of yoir hair before it was ever transplanted? Cheers.
  14. Cool. Some of them are out of my price range. Pekiner and Demisroy are within range but I've never heard of them.
  15. Yeah I have been in touch with Bicer's assistant and I have to say the service has been great, and I do have a good feeling about her. It would be nice to just know what her results are like and so on. Is your donor area ok after having the surgery?
  16. Shaved patients seems to be the norm with FUE, however I have discovered a handful of surgeons who apparently do not shave their patients. Dr Saifi and Dr Anastasakis being examples. I wonder why is this?
  17. Awesome. Was it good or bad? Its probably too early to see results just yet I'd imagine. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about her so that I can make an informed decision.
  18. Cool. Yeah, I've really been doing as much homework as I can in order to make the best decision. Its scary how many bad reviews are out there, even for some surgeons that are on international associations. I found a surgeon that seems very nice, her name is Dr Bicer, I wonder would anyone know anything about her.
  19. I've discovered a female surgeon called Ozlem Bicer in Turkey. She is on the IAHRS and other boards. However there are not many reviews of her work online, although apparently she hosts a medical TV show in Turkey. She seems professional but then again they all do. Can anyone advise me on her.
  20. About €2,500 - €7,000. Obviously it would be nice to get the best value possible. I'm looking for awesome thick results. I need 2,000 - 2,500 grafts for my hairline (mostly temporal). Are any of those guys that I mentioned worth visiting? I'd go to Turkey at the drop of a hat but it seems to be a minefield there.
  21. I just saw that there. Thanks again
