You have chosen an excellent clinic and are definitely in safe hands. Eugenix has been producing some great results off late. Are you on meds currently?

My surgeon said its fine to use concealer about 14 days post op. So I'm guessing the same would apply for paste/gel.

Dr. Blake Bloxham is a great option.

My Dad is 65 and is about a Norwood 4-5. Im 29 and a Norwood 5A. Grandad on my mothers side was a Norwood 7.
My Brother who is 32 is probably Norwood 1-2.

Here are some photos of my donor from different angles. I trimmed down to about a 3.5 yesterday. I still have some shockloss around the scar, but its not too bad. The scar has healed pretty well. In a month or two, I expect it to be much better.

4 Month Update

The first three photos are the recipient area in different lightings.

There has been an improvement since Month 3, but I'm a little concerned about the density. But I'm still early, so I hope there are many more sprouts to come. Let me know what you guys think.

@guraaf - I understand your concern about traveling. But make sure that location of a clinic, is not the primary reason for choosing a surgeon. I got a HT during COVID too, and the travel was not bad at all.
Do your research, look at patient reviews and make your decision.

3.5 Month Update:

I know it's early, but I expected to see a few more sprouts, especially along the hairline.

Do the grafts show up in spurts? Because whatever I have right now, has been there for about 3 weeks (and just grown longer)

Waiting sucks! Hoping to see something positive soon.
 

For larger procedures H&W are definitely kings. My personal top favorites are Konior, H&W, Shapiro and Gabel.

Can you add pics?

I was provided with a suture removal kit. But I didn't use it and ended up going to a Dr. to get them removed. I have black hair, and the black suture thread was kinda tricky to remove in my case. So i just thought it would be better for a pro to do it.

My "usual" weekend Single malt is Glenfiddich. If I'm up for a celebration and looking for something better I usually get Dalmore 18. Its absolutely exquisite.
