  1. i felt so sorry for that poor young chap. He was desperate to get some hair back and was so vunerable and those leaches pounced on him , id hate to see his scar and result after that bodg dissection under no micro, i wanted to go there and pull him off the surgeons chair and tell him to go to a coalition surgeon and kick that surgeon in the nuts for his lies. it happened to me also so im still quite raw about dodgy u.k. clinics, currently im waiting to revise my huge scar left by a dodgy u.k. clinic, wish id found these forums before i was duped into same.
  2. research, youve heard it over and over Goldstone is formerly of another u.k. butcher clinic, he will leave you with a huge scar,no density move on,go to farjo or overseas
  3. For 3 months at least youll feel like it was all a failure as your hair will look worse than pre op, just hang in there, stop looking at it at 4-6 months POW the little hairs will amaze you, good luck keep positive bigcow
  4. Tom,would it be possible to see some clearer pics if poss? many thanks
  5. we have all pointed you towards dr path if u are considering thailand, plus its a great place to recover post op for a week or so healing before flying home. from your photos approx 3000 grafts would see you great, but im not a doc and im sure dht clinic will give u better indication. good luck with the journey
  6. Hello my friend. All i can add is YES, it does make a difference doing a 2nd pass on same area and bringing it up to 50% or more density,it becomes hardly see through and better for style options. One thing that may freak u is SHOCKLOSS, most get it some dont but i can assure you that it will regrow at 3-4 months post op if its strong good hair. I did 2nd pass at 12 months post and it was all healed fine . Dr.Path will only advise you whats best for you ,he wont just want to make money, he cares and he is a top notch surgeon, im sure that youll hardly notice your scar because he does it sooo neat. Good luck, go for it at 12 months or after best wishes from me
  7. ive been trying to help you and you answer me like that??????????
  8. dr.path says, get retention sutures out 6-7 days post op,SO DO THAT OK. dissolvable sutures are ok to rub a little, they wont come undone, unless you start to do big silly fast movements. SIT BACK RELAXE LET IT HEAL BE GENTLE FOR GODS SAKE STOP PANICKING
  9. when you crop it all down it will all blend it nicely, know one will know youve had a 2nd pass, really, cause dr.apth scar is so damn neat you can hide it nicely. even dr.apth will cut your hair for you. WB, if you want more hair then youll haveto do as i and others have done, get more surgery im afraid, theres no other way.
  10. DO WHAT YOUR SURGEON TELLS YOU POST OP, dr path says remove the retention sutures at 6-7 days so do that. the disolvable sutures stay in place and will disolve in due course ok
  11. dear wb,if it makes it any easier for you to hear this. ive now had 3 h/t first was a disaster with a large u.k. clinic who hacked my donor to hell and left me with a large scar that was still blood spotting on my pillow at night even after 28 days, along with that they only implanted approx 10 grafts in sq cm,and approx less than half what was implanted actually grew.i had to stop work immediately and stay unemployed and hide under a hat,i was at a stage where i thought, should i end it all now,as life was really crap and i couldnt find a job that let me wear a hat all day so i was going broke living on my savings. my first pass with dr.path was a great result 3000 grafts but i still needed more grafts/density at frontal as i had approx 146sq cm baldness. my 2nd pass created a lot of shockloss but dr.path assured me it will be ok at 4 months and he was correct,it has filled in nicely. WB,heres my suggestion, if you want more hair, then you need more surgery unfortunately. have you thought of cutting your hair short now as it will give you a new look for people to get used to now so that when/if you do get another transplant then you could crop your hair short all over to blend with the new spikey grafts so that your clients wont notice much going on at all. even if you get shocloss ,because your hairs short they wont really notice it. WHAT DO YOU THINK? its only a suggestion to get you out of the rut my friend,we are all in this together
  12. hi dr.path, yes as i said previously to wb,he has asian hair and it is straight character so its difficult to look more fuller without having a 2nd pass to fill in and bring him up to approx 50% at frontal regions to help him, plus a lot of 1 hair grafts wont help when he doesnt have many 3 hair grafts. it usually takes 2 passes to achieve something really quite good unless your first op gets over 4000 grafts.what do you think? im now 4 half months post op my 2nd op with you dr,path and i was worried first few months due to shockloss but now its starting to fill in nicely and shockloss has regrown mostly now, thats me had approx 5600 grafts with you and all i can say is YOU HAVE SAVED ME,my head was a disaster and your skill and your team are great. keep up the good work and for wb,dont be worried you look good, and if you decide to go back to dr.path for 1 more pass to get your density up,you will be much much hapier. good luck to all
  13. you look like a young chappie again, congrats mate, get out there and wooo some girlies to run their fingers through those locks..............
  14. for me it took approx 3 months for 90% feeling to most of my scalp. i did get a few headaches though 1-2 months post op. dont worry, all the feeling will return soon
  15. sounds like the blood was flowing in the wrong place.................... or should i say wrong head, ha ha ha
  16. yep,its the damn waiting game thats soooo hard to put up with. looking daily in the mirror for those invisible hairs to sprout, its agony on us all. you wont show pre op photos ,no problem,ut you say that you had some hair there before so im sure dr.path has warned you that if it was weak hair then expect a lot of shockloss,as i did and maybe not all will grow back as it was on its way out already, that could explain why youve not got what you expected so far. anyway,i understand that you cant stand the down time post op and are not keen for another op,i was same i wanted only 1 but as my loss got progressive,i had to return and even now as its still early days from my 2nd with dr.path i can see that ill be chasing my crown backwards as it looks progressive so i am prepared to go again to use last of my donor just to try and help my crown as front seems ok for now. keep chin up, baldness is hurting us all, but just look at your pre op photos and see how much more hair you have now than what you had............ keep us posted if you dont mind,
  17. dear wb, if i may say,not everyone gets an amazing result. you have asian hair and dr.path knows what hes doing. your results i cant say are bad,but so far theyre not great as what you expected. if you had different characteristics like wirey, wavy hair youd look more fuller, but its straight. where you really carefull the first 2 weeks pst op not to scratch them? PLEASE DONT WORRY ,because you may be surprised at 12 months that it just fills in better, and if i dont just go back for another pass with dr.path as i had 2 passes now with dr.path and it really makes a difference in density although the 2nd op does create shockloss so be prepared for that ok. your looking ok,its not a disaster ok
  18. really, whats the problem here. Dr.Path is the best in Asia and one of the top surgeons worldwide for h/t. his prices are good for a coalition surgeon and hes won the 2010 golden follicle award.hE HAS 3 MONTH WAITING LIST,WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU?? IF YOU DO IT WITH HIM,YOUR RESULTS WILL BE GAURANTEED . if you mess around with any others looking for a deal, WHO KNOWS WHAT RESULTS YOU WILL GET??????? if you cant afford it,dont do it or wait. STOP THIS MUMBLING ABOUT PLEASE
  19. ARE YOU MAD?????? read the forums, research, research, the arent the cheapest, but they are one of the worst. Do you want to be left a huge scar at donor, like mine that cost thousands $ to repair?????????
  20. Hi there, nice clear post from your ht experience with Dr.Pong. Well after my 2 ops with Dr.PATH,all i can say is the truth will be told when we see your 10 month results, versus similar graft number results from Dr.PATH. Dr.Pong and some others,YES did train with Dr.PATH yyears ago, then they opened their own clinics now to do their own thing. All i can input really is to say,Dr.PATH trained them to do open harvest technique etc,but Dr.PATH has refined his technique over past 20 years so has it off to a fine art,and he knows exactly what does/doesnt work, also some of his techs have been with him for 10 years or more, that helps a lot also. You can be assured that everything he does will be top notch, not saying Dr.Pong doesnt but EXPERIENCE does count and we only have a limited amount of donor to play with, and he must be cheaper for that reason. Good luck,
  21. Hi all out there, did you see the sneaky pics of Gordon Ramsey, famous chef sneaking out of Alvi Armani clinic, supposedly got 3000 grafts fue over 12 hours or more? any updates?
  22. Please, dont get too hung up on lateral slit technique. Like i said before,if its a new area with no hair present and your donor gives a lot of 3 or 4 hair graphs then lateral slit will help the coverage. It just depends on the area where its easier to make the slit lateral or not without damaging existing hair. You will get mostly if not all lateral slit with Dr.Path but even if he doesnt you wont ever know cause you cant see it. i hope i have helped you and AGAIN, my views are my own,i dont work for Dr.Path,i am just happy with my results from him. A lot of people dont like posting results and are shy but what i will say is that Dr.Path won the GOLDEN FOLLICLE AWARD 2010,from patients praising him. good luck, post me your results please.
  23. Hi there,YES Dr.Path does use lateral slit exclusively, but you may have an area where there is hair and he has to make a coronal slit to stop hitting exsisting hair thats already there. DONT WORRY,Dr.PATH has 20 years experience doing h/t and his incisions are small and same method used as Dr.Wong plus his open harvest technique will get max amount of donor without damaging any hair. Hope this helps you decide
  24. you chose a great surgeon and team.Yes the graphs done at the lower temples may not fall out and continue to grow as they are inserted differently/shingling affect and mine didnt fall out either they just continued to grow although its not really a dense area so its not a big deal. Redness and pinkness ,well everyone is different some more/longer than others but if your worried at work just use a little makeup on it to stop the skin looking red if that helps. i started to sprout new hairs at 8 weeks and they kept going up to around 6 months new growth then the hair shafts got thicker and more healthy looking at around 8-10 months so JUST BE PATIENT, easier said than done eh. Happy growing
  25. Yes,it is.Most of us including myself want to find a cheaper alternative to save somer cash but problem is 99% of the time we get hacked by unknown surgeons and it ends up costing more to repair the damge caused. if your wanting to do it in Thailand then i dont know why you just dont go to Dr.PATH,hes one of the best surgeons worldwide and his prices are reasonable for a coalition surgeon and golden follicle award 2010 winner. most other thai surgeons have worked under him or watched him but Dr.Path has 20 years more experience than them and NOT A BAD WORD said about him only praise, what does that tell you. i dont work for him and my views are my own ok,but i did have 1 successfull ops with him past 2 years,GOOD LUCK
