I got a transplant in the front but my crown is thin. I was thinking of using dermmatch and hairspray on it every day to cover it. Would that be bad for your hair ? Would it progress baldness in that area?
@Melvin-Moderator I think you would have a good idea. -
You lost native hair can’t blame the doctor for this. U on finasteride?
-
Very good. Did u have any grafts put in the crown?
-
No just bare without the hair combed over it
-
What’s your crown like now without derrmatch and your transplanted hair over it ?
-
Go fue capilar cost like 2500 perfect for your budget. One patient a day. Check hair loss conquerors group on Facebook loads of good real patient reviews.

HLC or Hair of Istanbul if you have a good doner you will get a top result.
-
Haha did u copy a lad From KSL’s insta for the song ? 😂
-
Can you put pics overhead without toppik so we can see the real result ?

He got his feelings hurt when a certain surgeon had something to say about him, and when the old managing publisher said something about him, he left.
I extended an olive branch, but then I remembered that he had created a post wanting to charge skype consultations for patients, to talk about their hair loss. I really don’t want that on this site. I talk to you guys for free. I would never charge skype consultations, that’s taking advantage IMO.
What happened to bill?

You will be In good hands with HLC They are one of the best.

This result has got to be one of the best on the forum ever. Few patients ever achieve that much density in the crown, especially after being completely skin bald. You look fantastic Zoom, thanks for always keeping us updated, and it will only get better.
This is the 2nd best Your result is the best.
-
Good result cause you were like fully bald before. Would you ever consider derrmatch or toppik? To make it even more dense ?
-
Junk only things that work are Finasteride/dutasteride and minoxidil.

No @Coady, Believe me, it’s not as good as it looks, the pics don’t reflect reality, I don’t think I’ll do another touch-up, first, because what would I do if they fall back, and then as you can see from the photos, my donor area is exhausted.
You only had 3375 grafts that would never be enough for full coverage. maybe show better pics in natural light ?
-
That’s a good hair transplan. 99% of people would be happy with that. Maybe go for a top up ?
-
Your being to hard on yourself actually looks good. Any pic over top ?

I consulted with Hasson in person. I told him I was using minoxidil for several years and he was def against minoxidil. He said both him and his techs noticed that patients using topical minoxidil had a lot of collagen loss in their skin. They would get patients where the skin would be “thin” so when slits were created, they would have to space them further apart otherwise the slits would fall into one another. I was def thrown off by this comment as he’s the only doctor that has voiced this to me.
Never heard this one before? Is there any science to back this up? I’ve been using minoxidil for 2 and a half years now. This scares me 🙈

Agreed some issues, but not shockingly poor as you say. it is transplanted hair I’m combing over , I was as bald as an egg on the front.
Look if your happy that’s all that matters ! I don’t mean to offend you. This is just my opinion. I know ht are illusion of density but I don’t think an area as thin and patchy is acceptable from such a respected clinic and for the money that was spent probably over 10,000 euros.

Hi. I wouldn’t say it was ‘bad’ - a little thin at mid scalp but even across that area .
I don’t comb my native hair over at all, I can actually comb my transplanted hairline back and it looks dense.
I am going back for a touch up at mid scalp.
Yeah that’s what I meant you have to comb your hair over that area. I don’t mean to disrespect you or sound aggressive I’m just saying Asmed used 4500 grafts which is a very large amount and their is a large thinning area behind the hairline.

Not smoking anything. The guy has fine hair and rebuilt his whole frontal area with a complete temple restoration. When I look at his before and after it is a pretty great result in my opinion and his donor area isn't damaged at all. Hard to get a perfect result in one shot fue surgery with a case like his.
Are u mad in the head he used 4500 grafts he should have had a way better result than he got For that amount of grafts . The area behind the hair line is completely thin. Shocking result mate. And more than half his doner gone.

Hang in there man. Maybe it’s just the lighting but I definitely see an improvement compared to the 4 month photos you posted. Hopefully you are a textbook case of a slow grower and are simply 2 months behind the average growth timeline which does happen especially with fine haired guys.
Check out this case...this guy had almost the same number of grafts as you except he had a lot go into his temple points. His results at 6 months were not impressive but he was a classic slow grower and ended up with a pretty great result considering his starting point and he had a couple guys being ultra negative in his thread.
@Sam818 What you smoking. He had a bad result. His mid scalp was thin and he had to comb his native here over it to make it look dense. I think he’s going back for a touch up.

I think dhi is just a marketing gimmick. The majority of people for some reason are under the assumption grafts die if they are out of the body a couple of hours. It’s just a clever way of giving uneducated HT people the idea that they can get a better result through this method. Usually low cost budget clinics offer dhi. Look at the top docs like Konior, diep, Hasson, Wong, none of them are doing dhi
