  1. Thats wonderful! I cannot wait to see the pictures. Look forward to seeing.
  2. Hi guys/girls Here is my 4 month update. I noticed a little more density since last posting. Im hoping it continues. I try not to pay too much attention to it still, otherwise I find myself looking in the mirror every 10 mins... Hair Restoration Journal -4 Months 3 days Post Op.
  3. WB280. Dont be nervous. The doctor takes this into account when he is creating your hairline. You have to remember that any skilled surgeon would most probably be able to identify the hair that is on its way out, and work around it or within it to make it dense and natural looking. Nonetheless, I remember having same concerns, however not so much anymore. No, since I had receded temples, it was bare skin he had transplanted into. So, No, he hadnt implanted into any surrounding hair, only bare head. So whatever growth you see in my pictures is all transplant hair, not previous hair. I probably encountered shock loss but I dont really know for sure. I think after looking at some pictures that some areas seem a tad thinner than others, so I assume I had. I just cannot verify this. I will be posting some recent pictures very soon. Its improving. Kindest Regards
  4. Excellent! You will have a lovely experience! Wear your headband after surgery as Dr. Path will recommend to reduce swelling and prevent it from going lower than eyebrows. Will only last about 7-10 days as it did in my case. I stayed for about 12 nights. Luckily nothing really embarrassing I would say. I wore a hat anyways to protect my head during day. At night I used existing hair and wore headband, it just looked like a style or something. No one would notice I dont think.. I was just playing with my new hair. Really excited everytime I run my fingers through it!! Good luck sir!
  5. Thanks guys! I hope so. I will be pleasantly surprised im sure. Even at 3 months Im very happy with what I have so far, so the more the better! Will post 4 months soon. Megatron looking forward to seeing your results unfold!
  6. Please post pics of your surgery as soon as you have it. Yeah the scar I cannot feel, however I have no idea what it looks like. I will take pics for my 3.5 month results and post them. Thanks for the feedback!
  7. Your going to have a lovely result it looks like!
  8. Yes Megatron, Your results are very similar to mine. It does appear your shaping up nicely as well. Good thing you can hide and blend it in with your other hair while its growing. Since the surgery, I have been wearing a bandana just go cover it up while I am working. However Its been pretty easy to hide otherwise.
  9. Thank you. Im looking forward to that. Dr. Path did an excellent job creating the hairline. He is highly recommended. Kind Regards
  10. Hi Guys I posted a 3 month update, but it seems like the last week it started growing much more so. So I decided to document it and post it on my hair blog. Let me know your thoughts. I hope that it eventually blends well with my much thicker hair behind it. All the growth you see originally was bare skin before the surgery, so Im still getting used to having this hairline, I really enjoy it. Even if its not fully thickened yet. Kind Regards http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/journal.asp?CopyID=5556&WebID=1598
  11. Thanks everyone. Pianoman- My crown doesnt have any visible hair loss. However after a NYC doctor informed me that it was thinning on top, I started taking Finasteride 1.25 daily about 6 months ago or so.. Hopefully I wont have to worry about that for a while. Kind Regards PS Yes I missed the Riots, thankfully. *It makes me sad, Thailand is lovely country, and the doctors there are incredible.
  12. Thank you.. I am already more confident at 3 months, just tying my hair back without too much concern for my previously high temples. It is evident that the temple transplanted hair never fell out and kept growing to my surprise. However all the other transplanted hair had fallen out but has started to grow finally. I will post a 3.5 month next.. Kindest Regards
  13. Hi my results at 3 months posted on my weblog. Its actually not yet 3 months, still have 4 days to go, but wont have time then. Let me know your thoughts. Kindest regards
  14. Dont worry! Be Patient. Its exciting as it grows.. Its just under 3 months and Im seeing more and more hair grow each day. Its really lovely.
  15. Yeah Falc Thats my hair.. Its the front of my face and I just brushed the hair forward.. I had receding temples, so it looks like I have no hair loss whatsoever, in fact you cannot even see my face in that picture.

How do I combine my hair blog pics onto this profile?

    Thanks in advance

PS I am already seeing lots of growth at 2.5 months.

  16. Thanks Bill. No I only added them to my patient website. I will try to add them on here. btw I like that "Follicular Genie"
  17. I got very similar done around same time with Dr. Path I just posted my 2 month pics. Looking good
  18. Hi Guys Heres my 64 days Post Op pics. I havent really been paying that much attention to the new growth because I try to never set myself up for being let down. But comparing, I can see how some of the hair never fell out in the temple area. I have longer hair, so I have been able to hide my receding temples pretty well.(The one picture is just when I combed my hair forward covering face.) Sorry about the scar pictures. I will take better pics with someones help at the 3 month mark. It was difficult for me to find it by myself.
  19. I just came back from Surgery with Dr. Path You will only need to spend a week. And on the 7th day he will remove the stitches, leaving the absorbable ones in. Read his website, it will inform you some more regarding this. In my opinion, after the research had been done regarding the doctor, it was a very casual experience to fly to Asia from NYC and have it done. Kind Regards
  20. I met with Dr. True for consultation, very nice man. He was my second choice after Dr. Path. He drew the hairline on me, it was very different however than that of what Doctor Path had done. I think the difference being that Doc Path would make nice round hairlines whereas Doc True prefers to make more mature looking temples. Both of them are great, of course it depends on what you want.
  21. Thanks again, Well, I suppose they are part of the root of the hair, I will add a picture to show you. Most are connected to hair, not all. So in the last hour, I have literally seen about a hundred of these fall out when I lightly rubbed my scalp in recipient area.
  22. Thank you very much. Still curious however, if the grafts are firmly planted by 10 days post op, and im 18 days post, I should still only rub while its wet in the shower, yeah?
  23. Is it ok to rub the recipient area as it seems like they fall off quicker? I dont have to put too much pressure rubbing. Also I saw some of the hairs that fell out were completely translucent white, looked strange with white crust attached.
  24. Sorry to ruin it for you guys but day 18 I think and I just saw several little hairs from my recipient area fall out.. So much for being one of the lucky ones..
  25. Have you just started Propecia? Doesnt that cause moodswings in some people? Just trying to help.
