  1. Rootz, This is an out of town patient that happened to come in to Phoenix, Arizona for business at the 4-month mark and wanted to show us his results. There is No hair in the frontal and temporal regions. It’s pretty hard to do a comb over with out hair there to start with. In those areas, all there is are transplanted hairs. Your missing the whole reason we are posting this patient. I believe the reason he has a great early result is because of the Acell that was used during his procedure. The grafts did not go dormant. Which would equal the 7-month mark of a patient’s growth if the grafts did go dormant at the usual time frame. We took photos of this patient without touching his hair. He was in between business meetings. He had 10 minutes to pop in and show us, and then had to leave. He did not want us touching his hair so we took some quick pictures and congratulated him on his early growth and he left. I have been posting on here for over 10 years and have had consistently great results over that time period. I’m not sure where your credentials come from but I’m sure you are not a physician, nor have you preformed a hair transplant. My reputation is stellar and I’m extremely offended with your remark. It’s really to bad that you have to try to fabricate reasons to slam other surgeon’s works, and successes. If you have any serious questions regarding patient’s results, I’ll be glad to entertain them or you can call directly to my office and speak to me personally. I believe you need to do more research regarding Acell. Dr. Scott Alexander
  2. This Patient is a healthy 37 year old male which wanted the entire top filled in between existing hairs. We transplanted 3192 follicular units which were accompanied with Acell. This was achieved with the traditional strip method. This Patient is 4 months Postoperative. He is on Finasteride and is extremely happy.
  3. We will post further follow up photos when we receive them. Thank you for all the kind words!!
  4. This patient had been on Finasteride with no help, before surgery, for over a year. It's been in my experience, that it has not benefited in the temporal or frontal hairline area, but has benefited my patients in the Mid-section. Due to what you said Spanker, that's why I put patients on Finasteride in the early stages of their hair loss. Again, Thank you for the kind words.
  5. TakingThePlunge and hairthere, Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it!
  6. Hi hsrp10, This patient was on Finasteride before and is still, but as we all know, Finasteride gives you no benefits in the temporal nor the front hair line regions. TakingThePlunge, Thank you for the kind words!! Thery are always appreciated.
  7. This patient was diffusely thinning through out the entire top of his scalp. He is 1 year out from the traditional strip method, where we transplanted 2857 Grafts, plus using Acell. Patient stated to me that before his hair became very thin, He would complain of styling problems due to the thick hair falling forward. Now he's over joyed to have those styling issues back again. Patient stated that his hair feels as thick as before.
  8. This Patient is a 67 year old female who had a facelift done previously. She lost her sideburns in this procedure. We reconstructed her sideburns and transplanted up into the existing hair along with, into the facelift scar itself. We transplanted 1341 total follicular units in the traditional strip method. 403 in single follicular units, 787 in double follicular units, and 151 in multi- follicular units. This patient sent us photos of her 1 year post operative progress. She will come in after her holiday so we can take additional pictures. We will keep updating as we get more.
  9. This patient has a lot of hairloss. With the donor hair we could get, the patient was more concerned with coverage than density. We could cover a large space, but with a thin density and he is happy with the results. Patient is 6 months post op.

  20. Cant decide- We don't record the actual sq cm, so anythingI could tell you would just be a guess. Thank you for the great comments. He is very early, but has already started to show some great growth.

We transplanted 1756 grafts with a strip surgery into those areas going back into his existing hairs to fill it in and add density. I recently saw this patient 3 years later, and his hair still looks great. Sorry for the blurry pre-op photos. This patient has really grown well and now has great density throughout.
