  1. 1.5 months post 2750 FUE This is the recipient area. Heard some mentions of acne but this looks too white? Been there since morning. I shampoo daily. Should I be concerned? Probably not but knowing myself I better see opinions
  2. Appreciated! I update with great pleasure. To be honest, I can't be any happier, given that an average patient experiences first growth at the third month stage. My guess this is due to my younger age.
  3. I will begin with the beard then. My previous hair clinic is already informed of my interest. A specialist will check my hair transplant progress next month and then we will see the beard. I will be sure to mention your helpful advises. Thank you very much for the educated contribution I am 1.5 months post OP on the scalp hair, hopefully it will turn out well and I will not need so many grafts in the future. In RE to the hairline, the doctor was already reluctant to drop it any lower due to being low already. My goal is to wait until I have visible scalp progress and to do the beard only then (if deemed useful). Hey, thanks. I did use Mino (hair, beard, eyebrows) - not much effect except thickness (in RE to bald spots, meaning that bald spots remained bald). As mentioned by another user, bald spots only disappear when I'm fully shaven or hobo mode (scruffy) on, LOL
  4. Images attached. Problem areas shown in red, as identified by me. (Face hidden for professional purposes.) Some thinning spots on beard (completely bald), only on the sides. Eyebrows seem the same on the ends. Mostly looking to fix the thickness rather than shape alteration. 25 years old. Beard can be done in HDC (Cyprus). Not sure ATM where eyebrows are done well here.
  5. I had my done just after reaching 25, with seeing the specialist just a couple of months before that. In regards to the age, 25 is considered to be the minimum, since usually by then the doctor can see what is the final picture likely to be like. It's very important to see the males in your family, as for example my father had the same NW3 to me since like 15, and the same for my grandfather - while there's no further loss, others may progress to further NWs. Since you mention hair loss running in your family, I'd wait until 24 at least. You might be better off seeing the specialist now but be wary if some push you to do it ASAP. In RE to the pics, it's not so bad but likely to be masked by some length present. There's definitely some thinning but another pro would be better off stating what NW is here. I'd guess around NW3.
  6. Hi. On my second month now. Experiencing my yearly allergy symptoms (pollen) - most notably, blocked nose. Prior to now, I was taking antihistamine. However, as this could reduce the blood pressure, the hair doctor said that this is bad, as my goal is to increase the blood pressure to stimulate the hair growth. What's your take here? I'm finally meeting an allergy doctor next week to find a permanent solution, which would also not impact my hair transplant. Various studies said that antihistamine could both increase and decrease the blood pressure. With the amount of people experiencing allergies, surely I can't be the only one having a hair transplant? 1. What's the take on antihistamine - is it bad for hair growth? Does it really reduce the blood pressure? 2. What are other solutions? I will probably be looking into some immunotherapy with the allergy doctor.
  7. Hey. Thanks, man. Been today to the clinic - was advised to start Mino next month and was also told of some hairs starting to grow. Will update then! 🙂
  8. Appreciate both of your contributions to the discussion. The clinic did a total of 7 washes (6 before the scabs were gone) - I do trust them, given their reception, but was still curious on the timing given the deviation from the norm. I guess that I am not the first guy who is worried of any potential "complications", not only because of money, but so much of the time commitment to see the result.
  9. Hi. I had my FUE hair transplant Thursday and Friday (a total of 2753 grafts) and the cleaner managed to get most of the scabs (recipient area - front) out on Wednesday morning (5 days). I am 25 years old (me suggesting that I am younger and therefore may heal faster?). Is this normal? The clinic is HDC and I trust them, but looking at other pictures 5 days seem too quick. I was also Norwood 2/3 and I guess given the amount of grafts the density was high. My concern if this could have done something wrong, since this seems deviation from being normal. I do trust the clinic though just asking. Wednesday afternoon during last clean with another washer, she was surprised my frontal (recipient) scabs went before the donor ones (back).

  11. Hi. Thanks. Will provide photos when home. Clinic got rid of scabs yesterday before checking out. Had one more shower after and told that all looks good. Cleaner was surprised the recipient-area scabs went before the ones at the back from the donor. I was concerned about going to uni this Saturday with scabs and it seemed they specifically solved this - happy. The donor ones should be the least concerned. Yesterday when avoiding something when bending down on the way up I gently brushed a plastic thing with a corner of my head with some recipient area. Specialist said over mediocre photo that all looks fine. If there's no pain, no bleeding and nothing fell out how likely is damage from slightly blunt trauma? It was my 5th day post op but no scabs. The only thing I see is small brown spot but it could also be from scabs. Could also be lightning. If I understand even at 5th day post op with no scabs and no bleeding I'll be fine? Seems like they applied more pressure when massaging than me hitting. 🙂 Just being over-reactive.
  12. Hi, thanks for reply. No and never did. Took minoxidil - took it before for no result and then for a month some time before the procedure (to cover a bald spot which occurred after a blister). Not using atm but I'm meeting the doctor/specialist some time until Thursday to see on how should I maintain Also took some random vitamins which supposedly help before but also to no help
  13. Hey. Just got update, 2753 grafts, plenty of doubles. At first was said hair is relatively thin but not so bad. Before pics (1 months ago) attached. Will upload more + donor later.
  14. Edited. 2753 grafts (plenty of doubles). The pics are 1st day post op (2 days procedure). Was waiting for this for a while and happy hear your opinions. Obviously still a long way to go! My skull shape seems a bit uneven on selfies. Curious as to how the straight hairline suits it Edit: Just turned 25 for more info. Can take more pics. Personal exp - felt little pain after procedure.
