Wow truly amazing result!
How do you feel about the scars from the first FUE. I hope you don't mind me saying, however, they do look quite visible and large in size. Similar to @MrRolandas in appearance. Did the doctor comment on that?

@RolandasIn any case, you got an excellent and natural result from your first surgery, and wish you all the best on your second. Your videos are very frank and informative! Keep it up!

@RolandasI saw that the Dr suggested that you might have minor keloid scarring but this doesn't look the case to me. Hard to tell from the video? Keloid scar are usually raised. Do you feel any bumps?

I would doubt that. It's been six months and nothinghas happened
If you are comfortable taking a tweezer and tugging only one of those hair you should be able to conclusively tell. If it comes out like a knife from butter, then it is a dead transplanted hair follicle that has yet to shed. Obviously if there is resistance, then that is a good sign and the hair should eventually grow. Keep in mind that new hair will grow slower than the native hair.

I have tried to take pictures but they are too small and difficult to see . I can only feel them. But they have'nt done anything. Not the slightest growth. If they are dead then they could be blocking hair from pushing through.
They could be transplanted hairs that haven't shed yet. If that's the case, new hairs should push them out.

@LondonRamenHey man, how's it looking now ? Really curious to see how your progress is going!
-
1-Was there any progress between month 4 to 5 and 5 to 6?
2-Do you still see/feel those small short hair stubbles?
-
I think it looks promising at 4 months. There is a clear visual improvement from month 3 to 4.

@LondonRamen How's it looking at month 4?

@Melvin-ModeratorI think that would be a great idea!

Looking good! Exciting period starts now

How many patients per day are operated on?
Currently only one patient posted thread on the HRN.
More patient posted threads from other doctors like Bruno Ferreira, HLC, and others.
This recommendation seems like it would be based heavily on popularity rather than direct evidence from this forum. That seems antithetical to what HRN alleges it's about.
I agree with the above. Not enough posts independently posted by patients, surely one patient posed result is way too little to even consider recommendation at this stage?

@LondonRamen Excited to see your update. You must be coming up to 3 months now?
-
I really find it shocking that the doctor will not look at your situation or provide any personal feedback until end of the 12th month. Most top doctors take the time to check up and evaluate progress at fixed intervals throughout the process and it really does not have to wait until month 12, particularly if at month 9 there is no evidence of new growth or any new grafts sprouting. Wishing you all the best @baalloss

I feel the same way.
Dr Ferreira seems very appealing (price, background, 1 patient per day), but the lack of before and afters+patient posted results makes it very difficult to determine if he has the skills and artistic requirements for my individual case.
My feeling right now is that it would be a gamble having surgery with him.
@Londoner7 Thank you! I'm looking forward to seeing your results.
Precisely my thoughts... I have read that one of the reasons he is unable to post results is because other clinics own the trademarks to the images/results however on the other hand, he has been operating his own clinic for 2+ years so you would expect at least more than a handful of results. In any case, I look forward to @Londoner7's testimonial.

Hey Everyone!
Hope you are all keeping well and safe!
I'm wondering if anyone has any feedback on Dr Bruno Ferreira work. I very much like the doctor's background but there is a lack of online patient review and testimonials. I know that he has been operating in Portugal under his clinic for over two years but have only seen 3 patient testimonials (two on this forum and one Spanish). I am currently booked for a surgery in Belgium but I am having second thoughts and would like to consult with Dr Ferreira. Any opinion/feedback is appreciated!

I agree Huncholini and not to sidetrack this thread but it would be really interesting to see recent cases from Dr Lupanzula on this forum. The current ones are few and far between. That's unfortunate as his work on foreign language forums seems to be top notch.
-
Any updates? thanks!
-
Good luck! I look forward to seeing the progression. I have been impressed by the few Lupanzula results in the forum.
Would be great if you could share the clinic post op pictures. Do you have fine or coarse hair?
-
Hello Scott,
Does Dr Lupanzula use a particular motorized punch system? I would appreciate if you could shed some light on this, if possible.
Thanks

haha! as mentioned the parting is only for demonstration purposes. Not trying to be Peter Andre hahaha I normally have my hair shaved back and sides, short on the top and just combed forward.
My only concern is density as I just passed 6.5 months and still wear a tiny bit of fibres but I cannot stick my hair put at the front yet as it looks abit spare.I've read that Dr Lupanzula has switched from manual FUE punch to motorized FUE? Has there been recent advancement in motorized FUE as I believe the doctor always maintained that manual FUE reduces trauma and lowers potential damage to the surrounding follicles. Maybe that's something the clinic can elaborate on? @Scott Medikemos

I think the result is promising so far and you can already see a big cosmetic change from pre-op. Although it's lacking in density, it is looking uniform. It's still early days and the side parting obviously doesn't help.

Great result! Looks extremely natural!
@LondonRamen Did you see any progress/new growth from Month 7 to 8? Any new hairs that you can feel sprouting through?
