I am a nw5 with diffuse thinning. Been reading mix results on prp and prp acell and wanted to reach out to this community see if it’s even worth to consider?
Can Anybody comment for this?

Opinions on arocha ?? Are they elite for African Americans ? I see some good results. Anybody got any good/bad reviews on them ?

Thanks. I wish I had started meds right after the surgery with Dr Konior to maintain the results over the last 6 years, but then I wasn't married then and did not want to take a chance. Hope I'll see some benefits of taking it now. Better late than never
Chance of what ?

Bro your hairline is not subtle at all. It looks really obvious you've had work done (which is not the goal). Maybe its the angle or lighting but you've achieved the density yet fallen short on the "natural look". Can you post more pics
You sound So Bitter lol

Yeah unfortunately I couldn't find anything which was as up close exposing the hairline even with the photos I sent initially to Pekiner are all with the hair pulled back. But its a shit feeling knowing that you've taken 2 steps back and are now in a worser position after spending all that time and money.. even so knowing that now I wont have the financial resources to go for another HT anytime soon..
get Smp for the scars in back. Look at williesmp on int

because doing SMP on the crown is just filling in the crown area. doing SMP in the front, the SMP person has to design the hairline, and there is much more room to cover. its hard enough to find a qualified medical doctor to draw a decent hairline, let alone an SMP person, who is essentially just a tattoo artist.
Have you seen any good cases with crown smp with long hair as well? And what’s your opinion about Smp for fue scars? If you have any good examples or photos please share

Hair transplants are a risky procedure. SMP is even riskier. Getting SMP on anywhere but the crown is very risky. In my opinion the only thing that really stands out is the dark smudge in the middle - I don't have enough knowledge in SMP to predict if that will fade or not.
It may be unnoticeable to most people, bc most people are not looking at you from where your camera is angled.
I would start doing consultations with other SMP artists to get a 2nd, qualified opinion. Its hard to trust the operating surgeon (or SMP artist) - also with hair transplants - because you never know if they are giving you an honest answer or are just trying to make an excuse for a mistake on their end.
Why do you say anywhere but the crown ? What makes the crown less risky?

How long after transplant before you can resume micro-needling? Also does any one have any good micro needling results ?
thanks? -
To anyone who has ever had a successful hair transplant . At what month did you first notice obvious growth ?

Anybody see significant results from prp? And wats the A cell? Is it needed? Is prp jus as useful without A Cell? I see a lot of local clinics offer but it’s no a cell involved

So to add to my journey . I had a concern with the connecting area from the newly transplanted connecting to the native hair . That I wanted to add some hair to . And also even though some people voted against the small transplant in crown . I did it any way.I trust my decision and my Doctor . And we stayed very conservative. This is 2 days post up. Had about 100 grafts on each side for the connect . And about 3-400 in crown . I just felt as if I was going to do it . I might as well attack everything I wanted . I don’t plan on having anything else done for years to come hopefully. As I am on meds and it should hold me over for a while . So now we just play the waiting game. I’ll continue with a 3 month , 6 month , 9 month , and 12month. ✌🏼

I think the smp looks better for a more diffuse thinning look, more than a completely hairless area . But I do agree that your smp actually doesn’t Look bad . You may need 1 more session. And I think you should be good. It’s not obvious. You should consider getting a drop fade. I think that will work in your favor .

I have to admit I've looked enviously at some plates of food that were far better than the one in front of me ...so a food transplant doctor would be the one to fix that?
😂

@Mr Sinister is it really that obvious? Has someone ever brung up the smp without you mentioning it?
I think the smp artist is as important as finding a hair transplant doctor .
also how many sessions did you get ?
I have found some good smp artist on Instagram .
This was a decent example I seen

I got fue grafts recently put into a Old artas scar. So I’m sure it’ll look 100% better once they grow in a few months , but I’m interested in getting some smp just to completely camouflage the scar. Any recommendations? Also I heard it’s different type of inks ? I have no idea about this topic . Looking for advice or recommendations thanks

So to sum this up , because I’m not into writing long blogs . I had a previous procedure with artas 2 years ago , poor growth and left nasty scar in back of head.
i have now Received 1500 grafts . About 1350 up front and 150 in the scar . I must say the work was beyond clean. This is 1 Day Post Up. I plan on keeping you guys updated again at month 3.
Some pics are after the first artas procedure with progressive hair loss , poor growth , and a bad scar in resultthe others are the corrective procedure Received yesterday.
I was also extremely cautious about my donor area. But I must say I give a 10/10 so far. Can’t wait to see how the growth comes into play, and thanks to this strategic doctor I have plenty more grafts for the future !
will be back for a update soon

Also brother quick question . How long did you wait before you wore a du rag ? Or baseball cap? Post surgery

Honestly nobody can really tell. I didn't do a drastic transformation, it's only 1500 grafts and I had been keeping my hair pretty low to lessen the affect over the years. My own mother hasn't really noticed. 😂 All she's said is "You look good."
The biggest benefit has been covid keeping everyone in the house. People haven't seen me in so long they've probably forgotten what it looks like. If anybody were to ask I'd just say I grew my hair out or hopped on medication.
There was only one time, around month 4 when I was out and one of my female friends kept staring at me saying, "Something looks different. Did you lose weight?" I told her yes but she was skeptical, drew her eyes to my hair, and said "nah that's not it. It's something else. 🤔" I just shrugged my shoulders and she dropped it. But when I looked in the mirror right after there wasn't anything noticeable.
The FUNNIEST scenario was when I was sitting around at the park talking with some guy friends and one of them goes, "It's not fair you still have your hairline." I'd honestly tell him if he was open to surgery. I've teased the topic and he laughed at the idea.
The only thing I could imagine is someone goes through my IG photo history but like I said before, I didn't really take many pics without hats or with my head at an unflattering angle.
Looks great man. Do you think you will need crown Work down the line?
