HG1, congrats on awesome result.
so, you don't use any hair product to style your hair?, just wash and comb it?

You can use hair spray that will give you a wet look, but stay away from gel and greasy pomades. Stick with dry cream based wax. I personally use redken manuever cream pomade. Also, stick with thin tooth combs.
I was going to stick with thin tooth comb, but i have curly hair and i saw the "wet brush" so i bought one of those too, i don't know which is better in terms of my hair, but actually i do think i don't really need to comb my hair, just wet it rub it slightly.
in terms of products i think i will look good clay product.

Amazing result mate, congrats.
would really want to see if possible what did you look year post the first op and what you say density not that good.
thanks.
-
Thanks to both of you.
Payam, i hope things will improve and that you will be happy.
Melvin, i'm 8.5 months post op and still wear hat in the day time, still concern of the sun, i know i should not.
i don't really want to use any hair products, try to keep away all kind of materials of my scalp so i just wet my hair with water and slick it back, but i do want something to use, what is a "clean" product suitable for curly hair? some kind of clay?.

So, you can't get the "wet look" after you had a HT (without using fibers and stuff), what hair product can you use?
-
Beautiful, congrats mate.
-
Wish you the best of luck mate.

Guys, wear hat all the time when you are outside, don't take any risks.
i wore SPF 50 hat with large brim in the city and it looked weird, but i didn't care.
-
Hey pradeepbr,
just wondering what is your situation after 3 HT, weren't they enough to give good coverage?
-
Looks great mate, you must be so happy
-
So, i'm guessing people post HT don't go out without style their hair.
you don't comb your hair when it's dry, right? so you wash it every morning? is it good for the hair to wash it everyday (not shampoo it).
i don't want to use hair products or use it for the necessary minimum. it's been a long time since i comb my hair, but i would rather just wash and comb it.
if i wash the hair and comb it the hair is wet so it will look thin than when it looks dry, right?, also when i use gel or other products to have that "wet look", it will look thin, what can you do in that situation without adding fibers or something else.
when you do use hair products, what is the "safest" "cleanest" product there is?- gel, mousse, clay?. took me a really long time to find a shampoo.

Congrats mate, it looks fantastic?

Hey matt,
just saw your previous thread and wow, what an amazing result, super fantastic.
congrats on both of the procedures.
how much grafts did you add to the front of the scalp and where? and why? you wanted more density to that area?
-
I bought a similar hat, but i live in the city so it was kinda weird walking around with it, but i didn't care.
-
I don't really know, the only thing i can say for sure it's really helped with some mouth problems like swollen gums and aphthas.
sprayed it on the scalp for 2 weeks but then i stopped.
-
I didn't either until i was looking for a hat post the HT and finally i bought 50 UPF large brim hat.
-
So, you are saying it's not recommended to do touch ups in the hairline for example or in another place that didn't grow good at first HT?
-
If you add new grafts in an area of native hair there could be shock loss of the native hair, right?
if you add new grafts to an area which have only transplanted hair it won't be?

It's always best to wait a full 12 months because you want to have the caliber maturation along with the regrowth.
SMP works well for most individuals in the donor area if it looks thin after having FUE.
But if the new HT is in another part of the scalp? and in the transplanted area there will be just some touchups?
-
Do you think 9 months post op is enough time that you can do another HT?
-
Yea, sorry, didn't mean to interfere his thread.
-
It still irritating me, that space, hope it will fill or thick up.
my growth was slower than others (don't take meds or minoxi) and in the meeting with the doctor he said i got more growth to come until 9-10 month so i hope things will get better because got thin areas behind the hairline (depending how i comb it).
by the way, when you added 1500 grafts were you concern about shock loss of the hair transplanted in the first HT or it is just relevant to the native hair?
when i shampoo and comb my hair (long time haven't comb it:) i can see still some hairs on my hand, i know that hairs shed everyday normally and i don't know which part of the scalp those hairs but should i worry or relax about that?
does transplanted hair don't shed ever? (in normal situations?).
pictures with flash (when hair was damp comb it back).
-
Yea, i didn't explain myself correctly, i meant the hairline itself when one pull the hair back it always seems kinda thin.
i had alot of area to cover and i know it is only 7.5 months but i think i would need some touch ups because if you can see the sides of the hairline is kinda fine but in the middle it's like too thin going in little bit.
what do you think?
first picture pre op.
2 picture post op.
3, 4 ,5 pictures- 7.5 months (3 without flash, 4 and 5 with flash).

HeyJeanLDD,
progress looks great, but to my opinion you looked great even before the second procedure.
just wondering, why did you decide to add more grafts in the hairline and why 1500?, didn't you like the shape or the density?
so it's impossible to get "good" and full hairline in one HT?
and something i have noticed, why in all kind of results i watch there is like a space, like a line with no hair beneath the hairline?, i hope you understand what i mean.
