  1. I had my first HT 3 weeks ago. I am taking proscar and just started taking 5000 biotin yesterday. Today I noticed while shampooing my hair a bunch of longer none transplanted hairs falling out in the shower. Is this normal?
  2. Golden boy, I think I’m losing about that much too. Everyday in the shower is when they come out. I wash my hair like u normally would. I had 3500 incisions on the frontal third 200 each temple then the remaining grafts they doubled up on top. They are packed in there. So now the hard part for us. Sit and wait lol
  3. Here is my week 3 photos.. shedding is in full effect. Started to notice shedding around day 12. Staples were removed 1 week ago. Still have tingle sensation but feeling better. Things are moving along nicely now. Sick of winter ready for spring!
  4. 2 week update all scans are gone. Looking good not shedding yet but hey hopefully it will just keep growing
  5. I just had a FUT and I can’t wait for these damn stapes to come outta my head lol does it feel better when they do ?
  6. Here is my 1 week post op everything seems to be looking good got some scabs and crusts starting to come off. I asked the clinic haven’t heard back but I’ll ask upi guys too should I be leaving the recipient area dry and should I be putting anything on it? But all in all everything is looking good so far cheers
  7. Can anyone tell me if it’s a good idea to use this shampoo? I’ve read mixed stuff on it ?
  8. Hey man I had the same feeling you did. I was so nervous the 2 weeks leading up to Surgury. I had my deposit already paid for and it was a lot of money. If say the days leading up to the surgury and worse than the surgury it’s self. It’s 1 day some paid but this is day 2 and I already feel great and love looking at my new hairline my old was drove nuts!!! Cheers
  9. I went with Dr. Hasson cause of the great reviews and results I seen on this site. I did the fut for one it was cheaper and i wear my hair long enough in the back... don’t ever plan on shaving I tried that befor and hated it. Plus I got 4800 grafts So I should get good density. Was just something I was comfortable going forward. The clinic suggested I also go fut. they offered fue and told me I could go either way.
  10. Thanks buddy I plan on posting 1-2-3 weeks then on a monthly basis. Cheers!
  11. Hey guys I just had a HT and I plan on using the doctors shampoo provided and follow all the post of stuff they gave me to do. But I bought this pura’dor shampoo and conditioner. It says it’s for hair loss. Also bought some foligroth vitamins for hair. I’ll post pictures of what’s in the bottles and If anyone has feedback let me know. Thanks
  12. Hey guys I’m going to share my experience with you all cause for the last 6 months I’ve read into these threads and this is what incouraged me to ultimately go with Dr. Hasson and do the surgury. I’ve been struggling with hair lose since my early 20s and have been wearing a hat for 99% of the time. Only time I would take a hat off is at home or at a wedding literally. It really was driving me bonkers. So I flew into Vancouver from edmonton and went for it yesterday, I did the surgury. Mornig of the surgury I was greeted by the girls and and was told to change into the shirt they provide. Then we went into the OR room with . Dr. Hasson he’s funny and helps you not worry too much. Dr. Hasson gave me the needles so I wouldn’t feel anything you feel them but it’s what is expected. He then started with the strip. As he takes the strip out he is closing it up at the same time. Took about 45 min no big deal. After that he got right into the incisions. I clicked every 100 and we got to 3500. For the next 8 hours it was implanting time as 2 girls work on me and 2 more work on removing the hairs out of the strip. We had breaks for lunch and supper they give you a menu and you pick whatever. I watched tv and talked with the nurses all very nice. The chair starts to get uncomfortable as you could imagine for moving for 12 hours laid back in the chair. After the top 3500 was done Dr. Hasson came back in and started on my temples he did about 250 each side. By this time it was about 10 hours in. The girls started to implant on the temples and that took another 2 hours. Then whatever grafts were left over they doubled up on the top. After we were all done I came back to the hotel took my pain medication and sleeping pill and crashed hard. Had a good sleep now I’m sitting in my hotel room having breakfast. Highly recommend Dr. Hasson great guy and awesome clinic. Let me know what ya guys think I’m thinking I’m gonna get great results!!!!! And don’t worry I’ll update everyone all the time of progress so hopefully I can help other people that were in my case!!! I know how it is . Cheers
  13. Thanks for the reply Matt why would someone go for the fut surgery over the fue? Just seems to me like the fue is the newer technology? I guess it’s more expensive but if price isn’t an issue is fue the way to go? Or is there better results with the fut? Just seems to me why wouldn’t someone just do fue seems like it would be less painful/visible after surgery?
  14. To add I am 30 years old and been thining since I was early 20s.
