  1. Why would you think that that is a fue scar? Yeah, it is what it is...could have been smarter the first time but i had no knowledge before my first pick.
  2. This is my third HT after my first HT which was a horrible experience, and a second one which was a solid result but it needed a little touch up. It lacked some density in the frontal third and after two and a half years some of my original hairs fell of so i decided to go for a 3rd op with dr. Keser. Doctor Keser is highly praised as an excellent doctor, with an amazing result, great yield of growth and great density so I decided to go with him considering that this is my last HT because my donor is totally depleted. It was weak to start with, also my hair is very thin, and my first Ht was horrible and destroyed a big part of my donor. For my type of donor, manual punch should have been first and only choice. Info about the procedure: -1000 grafts ht with dr. Keser (max. that the doctor was comfortable extracting, even do I asked for more) -two day operation, 4 day/3 nights stay in Ankara -area of coverage: hair line and temples -extraction: manual, all done by doctor Keser -implantation: Pen ?, all done by doctor Keser -very professional; the op was completely painless (except for the anesthetic), it was running smoothly with no stopping, consultations before every part of the procedure, assistant/translator was present at all time all time during the operation -the receiving area very clean, almost no bleeding after, graft placement looks excellent, done as i requested, density very good -donor area with almost no bleeding, used the only remaining grafts above the harvested part of the donor -first day after th op no swelling, second and third day big swelling of the face Now i just need to wait and see, but for now it looks very good and clean for three days after the surgery Dr. Keser photos before, shaved and after:
  3. 20 months Hair still there, looking ok, some of my orig hair has fallen of so my hair loss hasn't stopped but i am still taking fin, contemplating another small ht. Last pic is with hair fibre.
  4. Hello Mathur, i will to give you my feedback on Dr Doganay and my hair transplant. My experience is that Dr Doganay is a great and honest person and a skilled doctor. He will give you a realistic assessment and answer all of your questions but you need to ask what ever is on your mind and you need to understand your situation and the result that you can get. My result were satisfying and the op fulfilled my expectations but i do not have great hair, it is not perfect. I would need the second op for it to be the way i would be satisfied for the rest of my life. Op with Dr Doganay: cca 2500 grafts, i wanted more, he said enough, all transplanted hair is still there but some of my original hair has fallen off, lowered my hair line, filled my frontal and mid part with hair, looks good but not enough density to stile the hair without microfibre, with micro fibre great, with a 1000-1500 grafts it would be great but all in all for my first real HT results are very good. Meds: not using anything but 1/4 of proscar (fin), minox no way (itchy and scratchy show, dandruf etc), nanogen hair serum is great but you need to use it constantly and for a long time so i stopped
  5. This is my 1 year result (and 20days) from 2590 graft. It is much better than before but i did expect little bit more... i still use fibres and front still looks thin and diluted.
  6. nine months after the HT 100% natural hair (no hair fibres), after a haircut
  7. Before and after a haircut 100% natural keratin fibres (nanogen)
  8. hair styled with just a little bit of hair fibres (compared to the amount of hair fibres used a year ago)
  9. That is good, right? It is not a contrast because dr Erdogan said that he wont do your HT, not that he couldnt do 4000grafts...
  10. Hello and thx, it is good for now, but i wish i had done more grafts... My subjective opinion is that both of them are great doctors. Dr. Erdogan was not the right choice for me because in more than two and a half months and 15 mails and many, many pictures and explanations i still didn't know if he will take me as a patient. I am guessing that he didn't want to take me because i have diffuse hair loss and thin donor hair so i wouldn't be an amazing result. To be honest the whole proces of selection from dr Erdogan left me feeling little bit angry and disappointed because he never gave an explanation for all the questioning. I contacted 2 other doctors and thay were satisfied with the amount of pictures,my description of my hair loss, my medical history and finally with my expectations from HT. Also, i did notice that 90% of his patients are people with small hair loss, nw2 or 3, with great thick hair on top and an amazing donor hair, and i just don't fit in there because my hair loss is little more complicated than just filling empty space with loads of hairs. Dr. Doganay had great results, with the excepion of the year 2015, and had many similar cases of hair loss patients as my. He did ask a few questions before (about my first Ht, my other surgery) but not like dr. Erdogan, and he could book my HT when it suited me, which was very important because of my work schedule. It was easy decision for me. Honestly, i dont know much about BHT except for the fact that Dr. Doganay does it and Dr. Erdongan doesnt.
  11. Did you notice any shock loss of your native hair?
  12. Only good things coming in the next few months...
  13. It has been six months from my 2nd HT and i will try to describe my results at this moment... This time around i can really say that i got a solid result because i got coverage all over my thinning scalp and my hair looks much better than 7 months before, but i did expect more density, especially in the front. It does look good when it is combed but i can't really style my hair the way i want because when i use styling products you see the lack of density. Also i did notice one thing that bothers me very much; my middle part of the hairline and the area behind is not as dense as the other parts of the hairline, and that was my main goal for this HT. I wanted to have the same solid density on my hairline and 2cm behind hairline. Maybe it gets a bit better in the next few months...
  14. I don't understand those reasons because people come to this site to learn from someone else's experience so they should give back the same way... and the criticism thing and insults are just a childish reaction from a few insecure and unhappy individuals. In most part this community is supportive and offers helpful tips. After my first and very bad ht I understood that my lack of information and knowledge was a big factor for such result. This time i am sharing everything in hopes of helping others to better understand the whole process of hair transplantation.
  15. I just had my first real haircut after the HT, last one was just the sides, and this is the first time i see the results of the hair transplant...and it looks great. I really hope that improvements continue like this. I compared pictures after my haircut in 11 month last year and the one from today.
  16. It has been 5 months from my HT and i am starting to see some results. There is hair growing everywhere but it is still weak and thin. My hair growth wasn like some other people here, i havent seen any growth until 3,5 months, and it is noticeable just in the last two or three weeks. I am hoping that it continues like this...
