  1. Sorry, correction: i used morrF5%, topical which contains minox5% and 0.1% fin. It was not good for me because of the extreme reaction
  2. Thanks, and i completely agree with every word you said, but that kid was not involved with dr doganay... i would understand if that were the case. Anyway, i am far from any real results but i am optimistic because this looks like a good start.
  3. Also, there is one sad little person who keeps claiming that i made a mistake with my choice for this HT, and keeps wishing my results fail, although i really do not know why. To be honest, my expectations were a bit lower before the op, but when i look at results so far i am expecting more than before...i got exactly what i wanted: graft placement is like i asked, my hair line is corrected as much as i wanted (dr wanted to correct my HL in full, but i said no because i didnt want to spend a few hundred grafts there), i had almost no swelling (only a day or two after and just two cm below my hair line), no bleeding after HT (donor or recipiant), no visible scarring, no itching and so on... you can see everything in the photos. If i am being subjective, please point me to any mistake because for now i dont see any.
  4. All of the recipient scabs are gone, and my transplanted hair looks so great...why can't it stay like this? As instructed by the doctor, i am not using anything on my hair until day 30 (alpicortF and nanogen hair growth serum). It did take a while for the last scabs to fall off, but i am satisfied because i didn't see many hair fall off with the scabs so i am guessing that it means that my transplanted hair successfully attached to my scalp. My donor is healing well, there is some redness, but it is not noticable. I will give my final judgement about the donor after two months when all the redness is gone and i see how well my longer hair covers the whole area. pictures with flashlight first with flashlight, second without pictures without flashlight
  5. Yes, there is no need for face to face consultation. Just send plenty of photos like clinics take before the op and save your money.
  6. You hair loss doesn't look to bad, but you won't know the full extent of your HL until you shave your head. Also, you are not a 20 year old kid at the start of your HL, you are somewhere in the middle of your HL which is, considering your age, probably slowing down, so one good HT could give you a solid set of hair. Maybe in the future you do need one more but you will see that in time. I would advise you that when you do decide on your HT you do your whole front 1/3, not just around that frontal patch of hair.
  7. My remark, aggressive posters, was written based on my experience on this site and this thread. Fact is that since my first post 3 out of 5 replies or comments toward me was aggressive instead of constructive or helpful. Another fact is that this guy asked us to suggest sugents in Turkey but in the last 15 or 20 post there were no suggestions, only arguments... so to get back to topic, here is a list of some of the recommended doctors in Turkey (from 4 diferent sites): Dr. Erdogan Koray, Istanbul Dr. Hakan Doganay, Antalya Hairline Clinic, Ankara Dr. Tayfun Ouguzoglu, Istanbul Dr. Erm? Karadeniz, Istanbul Klinika Cosmedica , Istanbul Dr. Resul Yaman, Istanbul Dr. Serkan Aygin, Istanbul Dr. Keser Ankara Dr. Erkan Demirsoy Dr. ?zlem Bicer Dr. Cink Search, google and email them, try to find similar cases for you to get the real idea of what you can expect from each doctor. To me you look like you still have a good thick hair (you are in early stages of AA), and a solid donor, and i think that with a good HT and some preventive medications you can keep you hair and good looks for a long, long time. My advice to you is that you need to account for some native hair shock loss (temporary or even permanent), especially if you haven't shaved your hair in a long time, and/or posibillity of future hair loss. Good luck
  8. Gasthoerer, there are some aggressive people here, right? I agree with you when you say that there are other forums and websites that can offer some other dr and examples of their work and that it is up to the individual to choose. We are here to offer our experience and support, that is how i see it. With that said dr Kaan is a young doctor with not many HT operations done by him, but there is a dozen of examples on that italian site. If that is enough for Rookieboy ok, after all it is his decision.
  9. Thx for the replay, but i am not sure what you meant... i did ask my HT doctor and he suggested that i don't use it until 30 days after the operation. I got this medication after my extreme reaction to minox. It is used to heal rash and dandruff, same as Nizoral but much stronger. Also, it contains estradiol benzoate which is used to treat diffuse hair loss. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/288408715_The_assessment_of_efficacy_of_Alpicort_F-neu_effect_on_hair_growth_in_feminine_diffuse_alopecia
  10. You know this for a fact how? Are you are some kind off HT police? Or do you just trust one gruntled employee who has been trolling here? As for my first HT i rushed and made my decision based on price and great marketing on balkans from Sante plus hospitals, thay do have 3 hospitals there...you do know that there are other countries other than Australia? Now please stop posting to me in this members thread and if you have any more questions for me simply send a PM.
  11. Well thank you JeanLDD, your choice of words says a lot about your decision making abilities! Rookieboy, as i said before browse through this site and don't rush you decision.
  12. Hello, dr Doganay did all my implantation, and the tech did the extraction. You can read my step by step experiance here: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/188759-hair-transplant-ahd-dr-hakan-doganay.html I wasn't put off because i kind of know what happened in 2015 for dr Doganay, and since then he didn't have any bad results...But one of his employees is still trolling on this site and rewiving his mistakes so it looks more than it is. He is an excelent dr, when he is doing implantations and not his techs, so that was my request for doing the op with him. Also, a few of the guys from my country forum had an operation with him and they all seemed happy and had good results. You can also check my first HT experiance where you can see what happens when you rush in to do a HT without real reserch: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/188801-bad-experience-sante-3000grafts.html
  13. Yeah, there are so many unfinished Keser threads on this forum that i am wondering why? http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/search.php?searchid=3152863
  14. Hello, firstly you can browse through this site using the search option, titles only, by the name of the doctor. For reference try finding patients with the similar hair loss and degree, along with the similar hair color. Then you can decide on how many grafts is needed and wich doctor can give you what you want. Also, do this on the internet, and do not take reference from the patients on the clinics websites; every clinic has had 10 or 15 satisfied clients! Koray Erdogan is an excelent doctor, but so are the others. You need to understand why Erdogan has so many satisfied clients: 1. he is very selective with his potential patients-he is so well acclaimed that he can chose only good patients and say no to others (thick hair, great donor, not difficult HL, not many diffuse HL, FIN users only and so on) 2. he tends to use 20-50% more hair for HT than others (so the results look great in the short run) It is just his business model. I did my HT at dr Doganay and for now i am satisfied, but i also considered/contacted dr Erdogan, dr Demirsoy and dr Civas.
  15. Ten days after op my donor looks almost healed, redness is barely visible. Scabs from the recipient area didn't fall off yet, but that may be because i am still using tapping technique to wash my hair... I am thinking of using corticosteroid solution (alpicortF) to heal recipient area, but not sure if it is safe for the transplanted hair. I will ask dr. Doganay and see what he thinks about it.
  16. Hello guys, does anyone have any idea about using alpicortF after HT? I am interested if you have any experiance on when is it safe to use, regarding recent HT...10 days, 15 days, a month? AlpicorF is a topically applied product that consists of 0.005g estradiol benzoate, 0.2g prednisolone and 0.4g salicylic acid in 100mL of solution, It is used for mild inflammatory diseases of the scalp, sensitive to the symptomatic treatment with low external active corticosteroids. I think it would be useful with healing of the recipiant area, but my concern is that the solution contains propylene glycol which can cause skin irritation.
  17. Thx for the vote of confidence. It really is as you put it, but it took me some time to deal with it and to accept what happened... For now i can see that i at least corrected my crooked HL with my 2nd HT, and for the rest i just need to wait and see.
  18. Wow, amazing results...and great planning! Now you have a HL for life, if not the whole front 1/3, and if you ever start lossing your hair in the back you still have plenty of donor for FUE. I sure hope that my story ends up as half as good as yours...
  19. Thx, i do hope so... In my first HT i was scammed, horrible HL, they lied about the number of transplated grafts, didn't plant them where i wanted, i lost a part of my donor... The worst thing is the shock of going from a guy with "not so great hair" to a "diffused guy" that can't cover up his head even with longer hair! And also, i lost my money, and just so you understand, 2000€ in my country is like 5-6000€ in your country... doctors in my country earn from 1500-2500€ per month. You can see what happened here: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/188801-bad-experience-sante-3000grafts.html You keep following and commenting, and i will keep this thread alive for at least a year.
  20. Five days after the opreration everything looks good...for now. Donor area scabs had fell off, and my donor looks ok, or so i think. No noticeable scaring and also no swelling. During my first op my donor looked like a golf ball for around three weeks. Actualy, i didn't have any swelling anywhere after my second day! And no pain whatsoever, so that's cool...
  21. So, here i am now, 5 days after the second HT op just recuperating at home and kind of questioning my objectivity about my current condition. I am not sure if i just want it to be good or if it is really looking good for now... So please comment, advise or just give support for the fellow sufferer in need! My current progres is here: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/188759-hair-transplant-ahd-dr-hakan-doganay.html
  22. And finally, i accepted my mistake and came to a decision to give it another try and if it doesn't give any acceptable results just shave my head and put it behind me... In this proces i did get a healthy need to exercise regularly and pretty decent body... i just need to add some mass
  23. One other thing that i didn't mentioned in the first post was that i immediately noticed that they did not connect my new hairline to my healty pre existing hair... 1st after, 2nd 10m after, 3rd 15m after 11m after
  24. And this was not all... I had such a bad case of native hair shock loss and went from looking like this to looking like that... I just felt so miserable... Few months before first ht first 4m after, other 5m after and than 8 m after
