I don’t think it effects the rest of the head as long as there’s laxity.. but maybe a doctor or someone more experienced can chime in

How’s the donor scar?
-
Carlos Wesley is a good doc (My opinion) and recommended here as well

Dr Bloxham is Great!! Can't go wrong with him. Everything will absolutely be worth it at the end
Thanks theyutube6,
I’d be happy if my hairline comes out like yours.

Awesome man and yeah it kinda sucks to be honest lol, I’m just praying everything grows in nice, but yeah I’d say about 75% of the grafts have fell out by now
lol yea I’m dreading it too. Hopefully I’m one of those rare cases that don’t shed and my hair grows from the get.
hows the numbness on your head btw? I know it’s only been 2 days but under the scar everything is back to normal but above the scar is still numb.

The question isn’t how many grafts so much but who is the doctor ?
-
If I remember correctly he’s with natural transplants YouTube . They use outdated techniques mini grafts. I would stay away if it was me.
I think a guy named Matt Huebner runs it

Howcome FUT gets more grafts then FUR?
Fue will thin/damage out your donor every time you get it done. With fut it does not thin your donor and less damage to your donor. Which means once tapped out of fut you can always go fue to fine tune things or finish up hair loss without affecting the density of your donor.
The obvious also being better result fut because grafts are not damaged as much being removed from donor. Not saying you can’t get good results fue. But if were a betting man (which I am lol) I would gamble on fut for a better result (with a great surgeon obviously)

Yea I get it. I had the same idea when I had my first procedure (fue). My mentality is different now tho. I don’t want to ever shave my head lol .
Goodluck tho! I deff will be following your results !

Why FUT? I dont want to have a scar on my head as I love fade haircuts
Skin tight Fades are all I ever got but I went with fut to get the most out of my donor and I will still rock a fade just not that high or that low but it’s a trade off that I think is worth it.
Fue or smp into scar will help to go lower as well.

Thanks Tb, 2 be honest it was more exhausting Compared to my first .
But I think bloxham and staff knocked it out the park I’m excited to see results man.. how’s yours holding up shedding phase yet ?
-
I think the hairline was a very good decision. Especially because of your advanced hair loss. We’re you against fut? I think you could of gotten more hair out going that route.
regardless happy growing I hope it grows well !

The photos in the car are unrealistic, to make a judgment you have to take the photos outdoors and with natural light.

idk bro. i was just doing a total 360 look in my bathroom. it’s not so bad right now. not sure if you’ve seen my thread but i’ve been going in waves of great gains from finasteride. to great sheds on finasteride. it’s a really tough decision. i emailed H&W about possible open dates in march/april and I’ll decide after seeing that. I’m going on a cruise in June so need enough time to recover if I do get a procedure
Yea I’ve been following your post. What finasteride did for you is amazing to honest. I’m going to give it a shot starting tomorrow hopefully I don’t get any sides. H&W was an option as well for me but ultimately I felt more comfortable with Dr Bloxham they both achieve great results to me.
I would wait til after the wedding that’s what I did. I didn’t want to take any chances before I got married. What ever you decide to do good luck and I’m sure you’ll get what you want especially going to a clinic like h&w.

have you made a decision yet on your procedure?

So the day finally came today.
dont want to Write a book so I’ll Keep it short and simple.
1986 grafts was what we got out.
Rebuilt the frontal third.
Dr. Bloxham said my hair caliber is above average and my grafts were small, long and frágil He said that is a perfect combination for fut not so much fue.
Explains the results I got from my first procedure. Good thing is my donor wasn’t in horrible condition but deff limites the amount of grafts he could of gotten.
procedure was pretty much pain less except the injections. Also it was very uncomfortable laying down for that long
because of my first procedure there was a lot of scaring in the recipient area so placing the grafts took much longer than doing it on a virgin head. The grafts kept popping out but Dr. Bloxham said that it will not effect the result just will take longer to complete the procedure. Thank god.
and I will be starting finasteride as well tomorrow when I go to the pharmacy.
here are some pictures ...
Dr Bloxham is awesome and so is his staff I wish I would of went to him from the get. But Oh well .
enjoy

*right now in bed

Hi there,
I didn't feel nervous at all until I walked into the clinic by 7am. That is when I knew it was for real and all those years waiting for an answer to my hair-loss were going to be addressed. It is normal to be anxious but you'll do fine. Dr Bloxham and his staff are great. How many grafts are you getting? Best of luck tomorrow.
Thanks Edward,
I keep going back and fourth about being nervous and then being happy lol. He quoted me at around 1200. Which doesn’t seem like a lot but I hope it’s enough. I’ll be following your thread good luck and happy growing!
