If even some mills in turkey refuse to perfrom work on you this is a huge red flag. From the clinics you mentioned only Eugenix would be worth discussing with IMO. And I would contact a FUT clinic like H&W or Hattingen.
My honest opinion is nevertheless: You are not a candidate as you donor appears thinning (almost) all over. If you go down the HT route, you probably will have multiple surgeries and spend several ten-thousands of $.

The question is: Why and how did you narrow it down to this 2 clinics?
-
The first question you need to answer is:
- Am I a candidate at all
- Then which procedure is the right one (FUE or FUT). Hint: ARTAS is always wrong.
- Then learn which clinics have great results in cases like yours
- Finally, select the clinic which you like most and can afford from this group

Thank you for sharing your story. Looks neat and clean.
Do you have some more before pics. From the pics I have seen so far, it is difficult to understand why the entire top was addressed.
Some donor pics post surgery would be also nice.

Crown is always delayed. It did not believe it myself until it happened to myself^^
Just check my thread. Crown was approx. 1.5-2 month behind hairline - maturing even longer. Baseline reached around month 6.5 in crown. Significant improvement between 8.5 and 13. Afterwards I did not check any further.

I have a hard time understanding why people are not running away from such a clinic...at least when you are onsite and you see what is going on. Even if you have to clue about hairtransplants. Everyone has only one head.

Great case! And this is coming from someone who is not a fan.
But what is most valuable to the forum: The 6 month result is clearly not a fast-grow/homerun status. If this would be a classic patient report, there would be already panic on 20 pages 😉

I am a little lost. 800 grafts are nowhere to be enough even with 100 % growth. Are there further surgeries planned with BHT or was this planned as a one and done?
-
Wow! I really thought after your successful step to camouflage the scars, I really thought you were done with surgery. But the fight never ends I guess. This is a mega session unheard of with your history. Really wish you a great outcome.

Hey @J d, I think there is a quite nice price overview in the thread below (I think this is with tax). My latest surgery was cheaper (maybe cause it was my third one with Feriduni), my initial was more expensive (as I only had 400 grafts).

Looking great for month 4! Keep us updated.

Any updates on this case?
-
I understand the TO being frustrated with the status, but I have difficulties to understand this case.
What was the goals of this surgery? The donor does not look great on this pics, but looks slightly better than 800 grafts max. IMO the goal could have been only: A) a test how your growth is or B) to slightly (!) even out the density on top on a very low level.
800 (or 1000) grafts, will do as much for this area. I had literally 4 (!) times the amount of grafts (and probably 5-6 times the amount of hairs) in a smaller area.

My 50 cent:
- You cannot decide based on the feedback from virtual/photo consultations or discussing with some reps (especially in a complicated case like yours). In a F2F consultant with the clinic they might come up with a completely different approach.
- Extracting of grafts most of times requires a second (or third pass) as 20 % of the grafts are dormant.

This is looking real good! Congratulations!

Thank you for updating! Massive improvement with relatively low amount of grafts.
One question: How short is your hair in the back on the donor pic of the clinic?
-
Looks really promising for month 3.

This such an important thread and a great transformation. Congratulations!

I do not understand why this topic becomes such a "mudfight" suddenly. This issue has been highlighted/discussed several times and many longtime posters have commented on it.
For me it is obvious that Freitas (and even more Diep) use less micro irregularities in the hairline than the other top clinics. For some this is obviously not a concern (or not visible). For me (and others) it is. This is why both clinics are not in my "recommended" or "Top Ten" list of clinics (I refer to the threads when people ask for personal ratings). Other disagree and see them as a top 5 clinic for hairlines, which is fine for me, as some of the results in here are simply stunning.
Another unrelated example: Hattingen is a top notch clinic and I was one of the first to mention them in here. However, for lower NW their hairline (macro) design is a little to conservative/round for my (!) personal preference. Still they are one of the world best clinics (especially for higher NW).
-
My point of view focusing on the one I see different and then ones which were not mentioned:
Freitas does not belong on this list IMO as he does not use micro irregularities.
Diep is even worse in this regard.
H&W belong on the list from my point of view.
Couto would be added by many.
Konior from craftsmanship point of view is the best IMO.
Heitmann is worth mentioning as he uses a similar approach as Konior.
And some would say Keser even if he is polarizing.
From the Belgiums Feriduni and then Bisanga for me for hairlines but maybe I am biased.

You had a really nice temporary growth indicating transplanted grafts were healthy at that time, i wonder where it went wrong later and what is the cause of poor final results!
Unfortunately, this initial "growth" is not a hint towards the final result (neither good or bad). I think it is more the grafts/hairs being pushed out, than actual growth.

For me there are 4-steps to chose a clinic:
1. Do your homework and search for top clinics via patient reports - you checked this box already.
2. Shorten your list. Check which of the clinics address your personal (!) needs - FUT, FUE, Mega-session, hairline touch-up etc. but also budget (if this is a concern)
3. Visit 3 clinics from your short-list and have them come up with a plan (e. g. hairline drawn). Also check with whom you relate personally.
4. Review the plan by looking at the pics at home e. g. which hairline is the one you wanna live with for the rest of your life.
Good luck 🙂

Haha, nice one. But be careful, greed is the path to the dark side 😉
