  1. Yeah it is a very good price. Obviously I did a lot of research on other websites with patient results, testimonies etc to reassure myself. I couldn't find anything negative relating to Dr Cinik & upon contacting them found the staff very helpful.
  2. Yeah flights are cheap as chips these days. He's a good option for a low price. Good luck to you as well mate
  3. Hey pal, Yeah that is quite expensive, which is why I went abroad. I had nearly all the grafts on my hairline and sides yes that's right, I think 50-100 grafts was put on my crown. I arrived in Turkey on Monday afternoon, operation Tuesday morning, flew back to New Zealand on Wednesday evening. Dr Cinik charges 1990 euros, which is about $2100 USD? For up to 5000 grafts. Price also includes 2 nights at the hotel which is 5 minutes from his clinic. It's a real bargain and I haven't seen any negative feedback about Dr Cinik upon researching before choosing him to do my transplant.
  4. 1 week post op, I love the feeling of slight tension on my hairline, feels of the follicles binding to my scalp. Had little to no pain 2-3 days after surgery, Some pics; Did take at night, lighting could be better. Cheers.
  5. Glad everything has gone well for you so far, looking forward to some pics
  6. You say you noticed hair loss about a year ago? You've dropped between 2 to 4 Norwoods in a year then, that's crazy aggressive. Anyway wish you well, looks good so far
  7. Not a fan of non-shaven, but looks good hopefully you get the desired results
  8. Best result I've seen from Demirsoy, congrats
  9. I don't think he has MBP, hard to tell though for sure. Very natural work however
  10. Couple of days ago last flight back home, my face was so swollen I looked like a meth addict haha. Some poor kid nearly started crying too.
  11. Mine went great, have a thread here as well. Structure of our surgeries seems very similar.
  12. Hey mate, Yeah recently my sides above my ears started to thin, so I asked if I could use some grafts there which was fine with Dr Cinik.
  13. Looking good, I was in Turkey same time as you with Dr Cinik. So the technicians extract the grafts from donor, Dr Erdogan opens the canals, then the technicians insert the grafts?
  14. In an ideal world, the Doctor would perform the whole surgery alone but that's just not feasible, I don't know of any hair transplant doctors that don't use assistants, and if there are ones that don't they would be extremely expensive I would imagine. So long as the technicians are trained to a high standard I don't see any problems. I felt I was in capable hands, have a browse of Dr Cinik's results around the place, he obviously has done well with his staff.
  15. Hi, no problem. Yes that's correct, Dr Cinik was monitoring & checking in while they were doing it. The technician working on me has been at the clinic four years so very experienced.
  16. Yeah my decision in choosing Dr Cinik was the great online feedback, as well as his easy going demeanour & genuine interest he shows in his patient's well being. Good price also, ticked all boxes for me. I will upload more photos in the near future. Turkey the country itself I really enjoyed, so so busy but not once did I feel any animosity or ill will towards me because of where I was from, I got on well with everyone. You will be fine pal.
  17. Hello all, Yesterday I had my first hair transplant procedure with doctor Emrah Cinik in Istanbul. The day prior I landed after a 24 hours travelling from New Zealand. I was promptly picked up by a nice gentleman and driven to my hotel. Nice hotel however all the tv channels were turkish haha. Next morning I was picked up at 7am sharp along with two other patients. Was met by a nice young lady and eacorted to see doctor Cinik, he is very friendly and welcoming, he consulted with me until we were both happy with the new hairline. I was then taken to the operating room and my head was shaven the surgery began. The anesthetic was injected, quite painful but after 10 minutes I felt nothing. So that was fine. The nurse and technician extracted the grafts which took about 2 hours, they were friendly and spoke some english too. Then we had a small break & Dr Cinik then came and began opening the canals. This took an hour or so then the nurse & technician inserted the grafts. This took about 2 hours aswell. After the surgery I felt very faint and the nurses gave me some orange juice which helped a lot. After surgery I was given some medication and taken back to my hotel, was quite painful for first few hours though was fine after. The next day I was picked up & had my bandages removed & Dr Cinik reviewed my final result, he was pleased with the surgery & thinks my result will be very natural Overall I'm very pleased with the whole experience and would recommend Dr Cinik's clinik for anyone looking at having a hair transplant.
