  1. Here are a few intraoperative images of this patient’s recipient area. These help to better illustrate the surgical design used to not only soften this patient’s hairline, but also provide a bit more hair coverage to his midscalp region.
  2. Here are intra-operative images from this patient’s procedure. This may help better illustrate the surgical design by Carlos K. Wesley, M.D.
  3. Below, please find the intra-operative image of this patient. This helps better illustrate how patient’s are able to wear their hair at its normal length so that they can more easily return to work and social activities. As we only operate on one surgical patient daily, the density is not compromised.
  4. Here is a video montage that better illustrates the coverage throughout this patient’s scalp. The emphasis was the front, with a light coverage throughout the crown. All in a single session.

The patient’s hair follicles were incubated in platelet rich plasma (PRP) throughout the duration of the procedure.
  7. A 23-year-old man had considerable reservations regarding finasteride. After a lengthy discussion about the long-term planning process of hair restoration in young patients, he underwent a follicular unit transplantation (FUT) session in which a total of 2401 grafts with Dr. Carlos K. Wesley. He wanted to bring his hairline down slightly in order to more effectively frame his face for the long term. The patient returned one year after his procedure and images of the patient can be seen below. The patient’s hair follicles were incubated in platelet rich plasma (PRP) throughout the duration of the procedure.
  8. Hi, JeffC45. This patient had previous surgeries done elsewhere. He wanted Dr. Wesley to make those scars (on the "before" pic) from his previous procedures, done by another doctor, unnoticeable. Dr Wesley did an awesome job as seen on the "after" pictures!
  9. Hi, everyone! Dr. Wesley takes pride in his work and performs the entire consultation himself. No consultants. Having that one hour consult with the physician doing the actual procedure can give you a more in depth knowledge and options while consultants may often be motivated to push for surgeries because of commission. About 30% of the patients that see Dr. Wesley for a consult may be discouraged from doing a surgery they do not need based on the physiology of their scalp. During a consultation, Dr. Wesley will present a plan, may it be medical or surgical, to address you hair loss concern. Hope this helps!
