  1. Looking good brother. I can't believe this is your 3rd procedure. I'm at 9.5mo and my 1 year visit w/ Dr Diep is creeping up. Im in LA as well.
  2. Thanks brother, the hairline is very natural looking. My new hairs blend in with my existing.
  3. Here's my 9.5 mo update. I could not be any happier. I still see hairs that have sprouted on my right temple slowly thickening. However I am not counting on any more hairs to grow at this point. Hopefully by the 12mp mark, all my hairs would be mature. Cheers
  4. It's been 6.5 mo journey to date and each day I look in the mirror and cannot believe my transformation. I get so many compliments about my hair from guys and girls, mostly girls who rub their fingers thru my hair without asking. I estimate about 90pct of the transplanted hairs to have grown out and thickened. The remaining balance has not matured yet, but i wouldnt even be upset if they never do, because my hairline is thick. At the moment I'm growing out my hair pre-surgery look.
  5. You're hairline looks amazing my man. The indoor and outdoor saturations have no affect on your thick hairline.
  6. Here's my 3.5 mo update taken with bathroom lighting. Compare to my 5 weeks - I achieved crazy earlier results and there is still a lot more hairs growing and thickening each week. I can see the diep zig zags taken form. Note that my right temple growth is growing slower than the left, but i still see a lot of hairs starting to thicken at the shaft. Overall my experience has been good. Also the fue red scars are almost gone, but i'll keep the sides long for now.
  7. Thanks guys for the compliments. I am very excited and more importantly, i no longer need to wear a hat or beanie out. Here's one more i took inside my car. There are a lot of hairs that still need to mature and grow out. Dr. Diep installed alot of 2's that i see starting to thicken from its current peach fuzz state.
  8. Well it's been 2.5 months i can finally say i'm out of the ugly duck phase as you can see. i feel like i achieved early results, and i can see more and more hairs sprouting out - so it's very exciting times. keep in mind the below picture is under bright bathroom lighting.
  9. htsoon - if you were to have a 3rd session, who would you go to?
  10. Great work, and a v nice hairline - wish i had that right now.

  12. hey matt - It sounds like you have healed nicely as well. As for the shedding timeline, it varies a lot based on the individual as anyone knowledgable will tell you. However, I can say that I do feel like my process has mirrored the individuals with early results. My grafts grew 1/4" before they shed, so I got a comfortable feeling that the grafts were implanted correctly (hopefully). I also believe that a humidifier will help the healing process, as I have mine set on high, and all my scabs fell out at day 6 and now at 5 wks I do not have any dryness in the donor area anymore. Once again, thanks John!
  13. The numbness in my scalp is gradually disappearing although it still tingles - hopefully the nerve endings will fully heal in the coming months. From my last post, i thought i would have shockless in the back, however it does not appear that is the case. But I do feel there is some degree - it's just not as visible. On to my recipient area I lost 95pct of donor hair at week 3, and now at week 5 I can say i lost 99pct. The redness is slowly fading, but you probably cannot tell from this picture. In person it looks pink. Also I can see my peach fuzz growing back at the temples.
  14. We would all like to see pictures of your results to back up your experience with dr diep. i'm 5wks post op and reading this is alarming.
  15. looks great. love to have that right about now.
  16. You're results look great! Feels good that you meet your expectations. Are you aware if all your grafts grew out?
  17. thanks guys, i love the new hair line. Been getting a lot of looks and a lot of compliments from the ladies as roughly all the scabs were gone by day 6 in the recipient area. Below are almost my 2 week post-op pics, and as you can see my temples are beginning to shed, and also I have experienced some shock loss in the back - it's starting to suck. I will begin to update monthly now.
  18. After my fue surgery with dr. diep, i noticed that there were a small lump of hair grafts by the microscope stations the tech used to disect the grafts that were not used. When i saw it, it had be worried that these were wasted hair graft that was either damaged during extraction, or transection, and is this normal? has anyone else seen this after their HT?
  19. thanks everyone for your support. Day 4 post-op. It was the first time using graftcyte shampoo gently on the reciepient area. the reciepient area is healing nicely although there is a small patch of scab on my left temple area. Dr. advised this was normal and to continue the post op instructions. the donor area is healing nicely - although last night was the first time i felt a localized sharp pain - I took a valium and went back to sleep. back of my head is slightly swollen still, not so much the face.
  20. Mods could you revise the title to 1630 grafts. So here we go, 2nd day post op pic. it's challenging to take back selfies,, and to wash the donor area according to the Dr's instruction when you live alone.
  21. today was my fue date with dr. diep. i thinking it turned out well - we shall see in 4 months? One thing he noted was my hairloss was unique as i still had plenty of baby hairs. And thus he reduced the amplitude of the hairline zig zags. i just want to say that i appreciate the other forum members how has posted amazing detsil blogs - which was a hugh influence in selectin him. I'm pretty tired atm - i'll check back in later pre-op post-op
