I can not understand how you can take prescription in USA for Proscar if you have MPB. Proscar can be prescribed ONLY if you suffer from BHP (prostate problem). That is fully illegal action by the doctors (violating the Propecia license and patent). In my country there is no way for me to get a prescription for Proscar because of that. BUT, it looks like in USA the doctors are much more subtle when it comes to patient's money,and you are able to make it in a sleazy way. Well hey!But, that's the way it is.

The doctors told me that Pygeum is safe because of it's minimal percentage in the tea, but however I will remove it. Few days ago i noticed great amount of small hairs especially at the front of my hair and my receding hairline. It is something like peach fuzz but some of the hairs are growing bigger and bigger, but I also noticed that some of them are so week and they come out. I'm using Minoxidil for less than 3 months, and ketoconazole shampoo (Revita,Nizoral) and some vitamins and nutritions. Please tell me what this means? Thanks in advance

I want to share something, and I want your opinion about this. Few days ago I received my natural tea ordered from a small private company. I chose the ingredients in this tea, after huge internet research and consultation with 2 doctors.The doctors told me that this might help with hair loss, and that is at least safe to use and it's good for health. I'm glad we understood each other.Maybe your right but minoxidil was not discovered as a treatment for hair loss as topical, but also as a drug for high blood pressure (hair growth - side effect) just like finasteride(Propecia). And then it was discovered that is has good absorption when applied topically and then patented like a topical solution. As you know, Propecia is forbidden for women (even if they touch it with their hands)so it means that Propecia has good absorption in blood and only the money making and patents are important in this huge hair loss industry. (MY OPINION) - (NOT ADVICE)

Minoxidil must be applied twice daily. I use 2 ml each time. In the morning - 8.00 am, and around 10.00 pm.(1 ml for my crown, and 1 ml for receding hairlines and top of my head). With more common use of minoxidil you will NOT gain more hairs on your head. For optimal results, use it as it's prescribed on the enclosed leaflet.

Shedding is common after starting Minoxidil or Propecia, although it's was not that significant for me it is for many guys. But don't worry,it will not make you bald in 6 weeks.

We all know that Minoxidil pills are used to treat high blood pressure (side effect - hair growth) but If finasteride(Propecia) is used to treat Benign Hypertrophy of Prostate with 5mg a day, and 1mg daily for hair loss, than I thing that Minoxidil tablets (normally 10mg per pill) cut into 5 pieces (2mg per pill) will be effective for hair loss at least like topical Minoxidil. Yomommyz, I'm not a doctor but as I know after 3 months every day research (doctors, dermatologists, hormonal tests etc...) if you are already using Propecia, Rogaine can only boost the process. I;m using Minoxidil for 2.5 months and no results yet but I read that it takes at least 4 months to be effective. The best results a young man can achieve are with Propecia and Rogaine combined. I don't take Propecia becouse of side effects but if you already take it, it's much more safe to you to start using Rogaine tomorrow. I recommend Ketoconazole shampoo 2% (brand name Nizoral) so you can rid off the dandruff(Minoxidil will cause dandruff for sure. Hope this was useful to you. All the best.

Greetings. I'm 23 years old and I'm using Minoxidil 2% for 2 months and 15 days. I want to ask a question to all Minoxidil users. Have you seen better results after switching to another Minoxidil product with the same percentage, or any kind of experience related with this. I'm using Minoxidil from Bosnialijek for 2.5 moths and i'm experiencing more shedding in these two months. I know about the shedding phase but it persists too long.

I was desperate to hear something about that because the doctors in my country no nothing about hair loss, and here we don't have a private clinic that treats hair loss. For example our doctors don't know about finasteride and Propecia. They prescribed me Minoxidil 2% and did not tell me that I have to use it all my life. I made a hormonal tests and the doctor told me not to worry it will stop. But it doesn't. No one can tell me if i have MPB, Telogen Effluvium or diffuse thinning. I have a receding hairlines but only 0.5cm. Can someone tell me if receding hairline is MPB symptom, or the reason can be something else?
