ok its been 1 month my hair has been falling out heaps i used to lose about 5 hairs a day in the shower and thought that was bad all of a sudden over the last month i lose around 20+ a day in the shower i went without a shower for 5 days and lost 100 in the shower also lose a couple on the pillow and during the day on my top etc. Im already on nizoral 2% for last 2 weeks and it hasn't stopped it and im really worried now Hair breaks of pretty easy after not having shower for 2 days also My dad had male pattern baldness from temples only and recedded but no full even though he is now in his 40's but losing this much hair a day makes me feel like i will go from front and back My hair is pretty long for a male. I been using hair spray for last 2 months but im not sure if that could be causing it. I have n ever had this before in my life the hair lose.

one in epping and greensborough. though i got a blood test for many things as he said he wanted to see if there is anything there before prescribing me with anything. so maybe in 2 weeks he will it is annoying

Desperate because i know im losing some hair and want to get it under control now because if i wait i know i will regret it. Also its like $79 for 28 propcia pills were proscar is $95 for 30 pills split into 5th which is 150 and 5 months. so cheap compared to other.

could you please find out the doctors name? or the location for me? i have asked a few doctors and they said its illegal for them to give to me it would be so much help mate

Geez, I wish i was 36. I'm only 26! It's not too bad at the moment, especially when my hair is at a nice length that isn't too short or too long. Anyway, just got back from the doctor and told her about it. She knew about finasteride and looked it up on her computer. I told her about Proscar rather than Propecia because it's the same thing but in 5mg tablets rather than 1. She gave me a prescription for Proscar. I have to split the tablets into 4 and take a quarter each day and skip the 5th day if I want seeing as you only need 1mg per day. I'm going overseas in a month and a half for a couple of weeks so am going to wait till I get back from there before starting on it. HOW???????? please reply lol im aussie can't get a prescription anywhere you in melbourne?

Ok guys i went docs today and he said Proscar and fin are for the prostat and he only would give me a prescription for propcia its $80 aus a month he said other 2 are nearly double the price. Ffs guys what do i do now????????????????? thought they were the same????????????? plz help

I heard it could stop working after 10 years or so? Hmmm dunno if i should start it now but id rather start it now before i actually lose heaps of hair or it becomes noticable. I mean if my hair is ok for about another 10 years there will probably be new treatments.
