  1. Hey mate iv been using minoxidil for 1 year now and I recently changed to the liquid from the foam. I found the foam easy to apply and it dries fast but just felt like it wasn't actually getting to the scalp too much on the hair. With the dropper u can drop liquid directly onto scalp and can do it very precisely. Each guy has a preference but for me the change from foam to liquid is so far so good
  2. I'm approaching 3 months at the end of this week. I'm happy with what early growth iv seen so far but really hope it picks up frm month 3 to month 4. Iv no reason to believe that it won't but of course u always have doubt when u are impatient. My 1 week post op hair which I was so excited lookin at seems like a distant memory. I Just need to hang in there and look at the likes of yourself as encouragement that results do come
  3. That's looking killer at the moment HTsoon. You must be delighted. You still have some thickening up to come but if it was to stop right there it looks great. It's encouraging for many to see how u looked at 3 months and then to see it at 5.5 just goes to show things can improve dramatically frm 3 - 6 months
  4. That is an awesome result you must be very happy. Enjoy
  5. ya htsoon I'm 10 weeks today. So far so good. The progress is slow but steady each week it looks better. Very tempted to stop buzzing it soon so that is a good sign.
  6. Looks great man. What a transformation. Still got some thickening up to come too. Even at present it's awesome.
  7. That's the truth HT soon time is going so so slow. Least we are all in a similar boat as one another. It's crazy to be checking like I do at 8 weeks especially when I'm still buzzing my hair but I can't help it haha. @hairsearch I will try find it mate cheers
  8. Cheers mate I'm find the patience part very hard but we have no choice in it. Have you got a thread ? I hope you grow well man
  9. 8 week update. So its been 8 weeks and not much to report all just a waiting game now. I can see some little hair sprouting here and there so I hope it's a sign of things to come. Hoping to see some more growth by week 12 but I know patience is key. Took two up close temporal pics where this small growth I mentioned can be seen
  10. Ya 8 weeks today ill do an update myself tomorro but not much change just waiting it out at the moment. I can see some early growth. As much as I try not look at my hair I am constantly checking it so even if it does change I will hardly notice. I'm sure we all do it though. Your hairline looks very good
  11. Looking great man and it's quite early days. Everything going to plan. I reckon ur going to be very happy with the final result. It already looks so much better than before. Donor looks great from that picture. That crown isn't noticeable frm the behind photo. Grow well
  12. I am 7 weeks post op and am going insane looking in the mirror for growth daily I kno it's foolish but can't stop myself. I'm seriously impatient and am wishing the days away. If I look at my head under the red light of my hairmax lasercomb I can see tonnes of tiny hairs which are invisible if I switch the lasercomb off and this gives me hope that the hairs are coming along. I can see some others quite clearly but overall to look from normal view I look pre op state
  13. cheers mate. Appreciate the input. I'm 7 weeks post op so just have my fingers crossed waiting. I can see some early growth which is encouraging
  14. The reality is most people who use the lasercomb myself included Use it in conjuction with other treatments such as minox or FIN so it can be very hard to no whether improvement is coming from the laser or from one of the other treatments. I read one study where a doctor said it's possible to regrow up to 13 hairs per cm Sq. but she felt the effort was not worth it considering time needed to use it. The question is would 13 hairs extra per cm Sq. be worth it for a diffuse thinner. I reckon it would be. I use the LUX 9 comb and intend to keep it in my arsenal. I could not unfortunately say it regrows hair but I have halted loss using it in conjuction with minox
  15. I think this concept is flawed by the masses of people that post their immediate HT and then post pics monthly etc of their progress. how are they to know whether their transplant will be successful at the time of posting immediate post op photos? I have seen people progress with both excellent and average results but to insinuate there is some kind of premeditation associated with the results which are posted here is ridiculous
  16. Newbie I had an FUE with 2,050 grafts by surgeon Marwan Saifi in poland who performs both FUT and FUE. he maintained a good surgeon should be able to perform both procedures as good as each other. He leaves the decision totally up to the patient. He does all the extractions and all the incisions himself. Techs only implant grafts. He even left a strip of untouched grafts in my donor area for the possibility of me changing my mind and considering an FUT down the line. He advocates for hair transplantation as a whole and not which procedure is better. When I had various consultations with top clinics I was told I need 4,000 grafts 5000+ grafts etc. Some docs will fire as much grafts into u as possible and look for wow results as opposed to developing a plan with the patient and factoring future loss etc. It's shouldn't be FUT vs FUE it should be FUT or FUE the choice is urs. Finding an ethical surgeon is one of the most important factors in deciding who to go to in my opinion.
  17. Yet I sense a very sneery tone to your message. I have a metal plate and screws and pins in my body so I genuinely mean it that I do not fear the pain of FUT it is indeed the scar which put me off the FUT as I like to cut my hair short. You obviously have a low opinion of the fellow forum members. Christ even boob jobs require incision.
  18. ????couldn't have said it any better. Has he a spider sense for FUE vs FUT debates or threads which debate same and when one pops up he's nose starts tingling. To the FUT mobile Blake ???
  19. Have to say this is total bullsh*t iv had surgery before and quite extensive at that and pain doesn't bother me in the slightest it was the scar that was off putting. I'd let a player cut me open anyday if the results would be superior but that big nasty looking scar is the off putting factor. With respect to u this assumption of urs is disrespectful and mis-guided largely by ur own fears I would guess.
  20. HTsoon all I know about it is that guys who suffer from Post Finasteride syndrome use it to try eleviate their symptoms. Make sense that they would try it. It is recognised as a treatment for PFS frm what I understand
  21. Ur crown and donor area are perfect. The recommendations u got seem pretty accurate judging from those pictures. Best of luck with your procedure it will all be worth it when it's done
