  1. I talked briefly with Gabel, they have a Seattle location they work with too apparently. Reasonable prices for renowned work.
  2. It's in the back of a complex on the second floor if I remember right lol.
  3. I haven't lost all hope for another transplant, a competent clinic should be able to get me decent coverage with high temples. The grafts that did grow grew in extremely thick, the hairs are more course than my actual hair, they grew in like beard hair. If I feel like pissing away more money is doubtful though, probably just live with this.
  4. I agree, but I'm not going to risk it. From what I've found, they contract people from Craigslist to try their hand at it. The last time was a military surgeon who couldn't tell a transplant scar from a "sports injury" and said "I can't get you sewn up, I gotta call for help, hold on."
  5. Sanjar has my vote as well, we both got screwed by the same clinic and I think his results are even worse than mine. Give this guy a break and help him. Also, consider me for your 3rd annual.
  6. I'm thinking just full laser removal, I was fine with being bald in the first place, just tired of shaving. I went the HT route because it was about the same cost, oops. I'm thinking laser may be able to somewhat blend the scar.
  7. Look closer. It's pitted, raised, and scarred. It's not nearly as horrible as the donor area, but still bleeds from all the bumps when I shave it. But yeah, I saw their "fue", holy hell.
  8. I removed the sutures myself and there was a thin white thread that didn't make any sense, I never regained feeling above where it was. I could be wrong, I'm not a doctor, but I drew the conclusion that it was a nerve.
  9. They're smooth talkers, using things like "we don't advertise, we use satisfied customer referrals for our business." Their website also says they've been serving the area for 25 years (which is a lie). I assumed no reviews were good reviews. A lot of people don't talk about their transplant because they don't want it known, so I figured that's why nothing was really written about them. After "25 years", figured if they were bad, it'd be documented. I'm another sucker they got with sales pitch.
  10. Thanks for the support though guys. This clinic needs stopped. I know there's more people out there holding back coming out about them because they're playing in to the "we'll make it right, don't write anything bad about us or we won't".
  11. I offered to post a follow up that I was refunded, but they chose to further ruin their reputation instead. I almost think they know they're in over their head and trying to get sued. I'm sure they've made enough ripping people off to hand the lawsuit to their insurance and close shop with a comfortable retirement.
  12. I had a nerve hanging out my head after the second one and never regained feeling to the left side of my head. I've made mistakes in my life, but this is my biggest one so far.
  13. Here's my actual "results" from the clinic. I had my initial transplant with little result and was talked in to a second transplant, same thing (duh). After the second transplant, I replied to a bad review of this clinic here, the clinic found it. They did offer a refund if I posted no more bad reviews. After months of no reply or money, I wrote them and they said they "didn't get my email". They said they'd repair the scar this time around, I argued for over a week that this wasn't a reasonable agreement. I'd have to take time from work, it would cost me more money being away from home even if they paid travel and lodging. I'd still have a head worse than before and still be out $5k. They again agreed to refund me, but again, no response. I emailed a follow up, they basically told me to get bent and they'd sue me if I posted the emails between us. I don't think I need to say much more, there's other posts here about them that I can verify are 100% true. They're deceitful hacks.
  14. Chris also clearly thinks I'm more nieve than I am. He told me all the good reviews of this clinic get taken down because he doesn't pay to be a part of this forum. I know that's not how forums work, we're basically a support group and the good and the bad is practically unfiltered.
  15. They're an accredited business...which sounds good, but it's not. They pay dues and the BBB basically protects them and not the consumer. The BBB in itself is almost a scam, you can pay to be recognized as a good company. RipOffReport is similar, pay them and they make your business look good.
  16. Very good at BS, he's the definition of a sociopath. He acts exactly like friends and family I've known who get addicted to opiate pain killers. He's got connections to get those pain killers and I saw on the BBB site he had a "neck injury", wouldn't be surprised if he's doped up on Vicodin and doesn't know right from wrong.
  17. I skimmed over a few defenses of this clinic and would like to point out that they've been in business for a few years without negative posts because they delayed us coming out. It's been 3 years since I initially went here, I waited the full 18 months before contacting the clinic about my lack of results. A month of bickering, I agreed to a follow up proceedure if I didn't write a bad review. A year later, no results, contacted the clinic, they agreed to a refund if I wrote no bad reviews. After 6 months of "sorry, we didn't see your email" and back and forth BS with them, they finally said to stop emailing them. That's why it took me this many years to come out about them.
  18. I also went back and read my older posts and would like to clear up the only reason I didn't follow post operative care of "scab prevention" was because I wanted it to heal naturally. I stayed out of public and figured it was better to have it scab and heal. I did still sterilize everything with hibicleanse and also put polysporin on the sutures. Either way, even with care exactly like recommended, it was still a failure my second time. They were good at making it sound like it was my fault the first time though. Almost thought they were decent people fixing my mistake...HA!
  19. They told me specifically which person I was talking about had HIV, I let the guy know to hopefully help him. They're talking about suing him because he signed a release form saying he wouldn't write anything bad about the clinic and still did.
  20. I sadly can attest that all other posts I've seen by victims are true. They did the exact same stuff to me.
