  1. Apologies and appreciate you breaking it down to the bare point of how deceitful this business is. Seeing this man come back in my life threatening and attacking me after the trauma he put me through years ago struck a nerve and I'm not dealing with his bullying, he feeds on people submitting to his threats. I'm not giving him that satisfaction. But I digress. I was mainly hoping other victims would see he's all bark and no bite with his legal threats. I want other victims to feel comfortable coming forward. I've talked to dozens of people scared to share their experience because of litigation threats, harassment, and bullying.
  2. Bumping this up to see if anyone has recommendations now. I'm in the area and a Google search pulls up dozens in Vegas, but the reviews give me flashbacks to the fake reviews of the hair transplant clinic that botched me. I want the blessing of a community before I pull the trigger again with work on my head.
  3. Linda is his ex wife, Danielle is his daughter. I hate to burst your bubble, but I kind of gave up any hope of a lawsuit against Colorado Hair Institute. Even if it's won, he owes almost $50k to the IRS. If he isn't paying the government, I don't see him paying anyone else.
  4. I have a scar as wide as my thumb in most places, almost constant bleeding from the graft and suture area. There's bumps and craters on my scalp, and a severed nerve that was hanging out of the left side of my donor area resulting in permanent nerve damage to the left quarter of my head. That's "butchered".
  5. Don McTyre is the real name of "Chris" McTyre. He's a real piece of work.
  6. Another post directly from the owner slandering Dr. Harris. These guys are unbelievable.
  7. I wouldn't mind an update, but Sanjar has just kind of disappeared. I emailed the lawyer handling the case with no reply. I have a plethora of incriminating evidence besides just shitty hair transplants.
  8. Rebuttal to bad reviews confirming Catherine (who wrote a review) is a representative of this clinic.
  9. I've been in contact with Dr. Harris to fix the mess Colorado Hair Institute gave me. I noticed another Yelp review that appears to be Colorado Hair Institute slandering Dr. Harris. I informed Dr. Harris and he confirmed that isn't a patient of his. At this point, I'm using this thread also as recorded evidence against them as well as a warning. I had more screenshots on my phone that I lost. Also attaching a review that states "Dr. McTyre" when he isn't a doctor in case it can be proven to be him who wrote it. He's not a doctor.
  10. I have to kind of be careful what I say, I'm under a cease and desist and they've brought on full legal threats to me. Under Colorado Law, you can't sue a clinic, you can only sue a doctor. As you said, they don't have any suits and I've only known one person to try. That's how I got that info. Good luck, hope you didn't pay a deposit.
  11. I could write a book on my experience with this clinic and dirt I've found. Basically all you need to know is "Chris" isn't his real name. It's Don Stanly McTyre and that should be an instant red flag that he operates under an alias. Another review has popped up under the name of the woman who did my second transplant at this clinic. The "surgeon" who worked on me was an ex military surgeon who couldn't tell my prior scar from a "sports injury". He started sewing me up and began cussing, he had to yell for help so Catherine sewed me up. Her only license is a nail technician that I've been able to find.
  12. Now "Bricks B" has changed their review after I made this post. Apparently this person is also "Nationwide Service Inc."
  13. It will probably be at least a year until I even schedule a consultation, it's honestly pretty low on my priority list right now. The only reason I may go in sooner is if they actually get me into court and I need an evaluation from him for evidence. I no longer reside in Colorado.
  14. I don't think he's passing out free revisions and repairs, but it was pretty noble of him to do that for one person and I think says a lot about his character. I have only touched base with him about getting it repaired and what it may take. We haven't discussed any pricing. He responds super fast to emails by the way.
  15. Thanks man. I've started emailing James Harris for some insight and will probably end up there, he's renowned for his work and did scar revision on another victim I've talked to. For FREE.
  16. I thought I did my research, they had all the right things to say and sold me on a sales pitch. I'm familiar with SMP and it's own set of cons as well as FUE in to the scar and blending the grafts in that are spread everywhere. I'm going to end up going to a renowned doctor for real advice in the future and may end up with a combo of FUE and SMP. No offense taken, I know I goofed. I had this done years ago and assumed no reviews were good reviews.
  17. I haven't had the work repaired, that alone should speak for itself in court. They're claiming I didn't follow post operative protocol and abused alcohol, that's why there's bad results. Which is partially true for the first procedure I had. There was a section which said "If following scab prevention..." I wanted it to heal naturally and it was worded as optional, so I skipped that. Chris McTyre tried to force Vicodin on me many times, I refused because I won't take prescription painkillers. He asked what I was going to do for the pain and I said "probably drink". He shrugged and said "that works". Second procedure they knew I skipped that step and drank afterwards, but after the procedure I was told by the tech to "go home and have a few beers". I didn't. I didn't drink two days prior to the operation or a month after and followed all post op care no matter how it was worded or how trivial it seemed. There's no reason at all for my poor results and horrendous scar. "Chris" even states in emails he's disappointed in my results and "that scar has to go" trying to get me in to repair it. I refused and that's when things started getting really bad trying to come to a resolution.
  18. They've sent me a draft for a "Complaint and Jury Demand" and pulled things I've said from this thread as "defamatory". I'm taking it as a last ditch effort for me to remove negative postings, but if they're serious, contact me if you're willing come to court to share your story with me.
  19. I've received a draft from their attorney for a "Complaint and Jury Demand" for my "defamatory" comments against them as a courtesy before they submit it for a trial by jury. I'm taking it as a threat to remove my comments, but I want other victims to contact with me in case it's not just a threat. I've talked to many with a similar experience to mine and hoping I can find more as back-up to testify with me. I'm an active member here, reach out in my inbox and I'll get it immediately. Here are my 2+ year "results", the one with me in a vest with my "hair" grown out is around the 1 year mark. They're claiming my results are from alcohol abuse in their complaint, but I don't know how to prove I didn't drink two days prior to my second surgery and a month after. I did drink around the time of my first procedure however, but obviously that wasn't the problem.
  20. I can only connect them through marriage and the CHI director/president working at VSC in the past. I have no idea how to bring a suit on both of them because legally (as far as I know) they're separate. If you can find a legal bridge between them, contact me for sure.
  21. Thanks. I'm honestly just hoping I can get grafts to take in to the scar and maybe get some natural looking thinned hair up top I can keep clipped short.
  22. Consider this a warning about who is writing them. One screenshot is Colorado Hair Institute, the other is Virginia Surgical Center ran by his ex wife.
