  1. I'm now almost one week since my second FUE. It's strange being back at the start again. I hope the ugly duckling stage is shorter this time as it was a small session this time to add density to the hairline area.
  2. Today I met with Dr Devroye for my pre op consultation. For some reason I am more nervous about this second FUE than I was the first time. I was thrown back when he said he could do what I wanted without shaving my head. This had never crossed my mind as I shaved the first time and just always thought that was best. I have spent all night looking at the pros and cons of not shaving. I am leaning towards shaving as I makes it easier to see what needs to be done and at the end of it all I want the best result I can. I guess I was just looking for other people's thoughts
  3. I am now 3 weeks away from from going to Brussels to have my FUE with Dr Devroye. I am feeling more nervous this time round i think.
  4. Maybe my before photo doesn't show how bad it was. I hardly had a hairline left due to receeding on both sides. The area I had done mostly consisted of where the hair had been gone for 10 years. I was told from the start it may take two transplant to achieve the density I wanted. This was from Devroye and Farjo who I went to see in the UK. I wouldn't say there is anything wrong with my density now. I just had a great result and have the opportunity to address the areas that still bother me.
  5. Thanks for your comment. I'm going back to Dr Devroye on 12th April to have 500 grafts done. I could wait I know but made the decision to address those areas and enjoy my hair. Before I had my FUE he told me I would most likely need a second to improve the density. The area where I had the transplant was completely bald so I was prepared for this. I believe I have had a great yield from looking at my post op to now. So in answer to it being done by FUE, no I don't think it had any bearing on going back to improve my hairline.
  6. I had growth from 3 months until 7-8 months. I saw the most around 6 months then not much after 8 months that I could notice.
  7. The hair on the photos is wet, I don't ever have it styled like that and I don't use gel. The temple points at the corners of the hairline are the areas I am having done. 500 grafts is a small proceedure I think. I just wondered if that number seems right. I just took the pic wet and hair back for Dr Devroye who asked...
  8. This is when I have no product in my hair, it isn't styled. Just wanted to show the gaps in the hairline I would like to increase density too. And the side part of the temples
  9. I will take some more. The left side is thinner than the right and I do have gaps that make the hair on the sides look odd. Does this photo show that more?
  10. Thanks for that. My hair in person and in daylight is still very thin at the corners of the hairline/ temples. I want to add the density to those areas. I know I have come along way from where I started off. There's just a awkward appearance to the hairline in those areas. I don't plan on lowering or anything like that
  11. I have been told 500 grafts should fill in the area in the temples which is much better than I thought I would need. This also means I can go ahead with it sooner than I thought I would be able too.
  12. thanks for the comments guys, good to hear what others think
  13. Thanks Pete, I am much happier with my hair. There's still area that need adding to but hopefully I won't have to junk about my hair as much anymore
  14. Yes he did the extractions over the two days. Here's a photo of before
  15. Not sure how to upload more than one at a time from my phone
  16. It has now been 13 months since I had my FUE with Dr Jean Devroye in Brussels. Since around month 10 I have been preparing myself to go through it again to Fill in my temple area. I had 2500 grafts to restore my hairline
  17. From what I have read you should be able to. It's hard to see from your photos as I think your hair looks good in these photos. I know it can be hard to get a decont up close photo. Your at the same stage as me. 10 months, I'm hoping for some more maturing to help fill my hair out
  18. That London guy does look like he likes to get peoples backs up.... I did not go alone for mine. I have a good friend who was happy to give up two days for me. Guess thats a perk of having friends :-/
  19. I would not worry about the money lost on flights. Cancel ASAP and look else where. I travel from Manchester to belgium to have my FUE with Dr Devroye. I am now 10 months and much happier. Id hate to be at 10 months and thinking i had made the wrong choice. Do not go ahead while you have doubts about the surgeon.
  20. I hadn't noticed the back of my head having darker hair. This photo was from two months ago. My hair is still dark where i had the grafts. There is a kink still in the left side.
  21. I get what you are asking, sorry i cant give you an answer. I see many guys who have had transplants shave their hair down and look good. There is also the option to have SMP with a shaved head and keep your new hairline?
