  1. Research indicates that the increased blood flow from spanking it is quite good for hair growth, especially right after surgery. For best results, you should spank it 3-6 times daily for the first two weeks, lessening the frequency over time, but maintaining at least once or twice a day for the first 9 months after surgery.

Now see, I knew there was a good reason I've had good early growth ;)

  2. I didn't take any drugs but I am a number of years older than you and I have never had any sexual malfunctions and my loss stabilized years ago, so the answer is - maybe? No one can say with certainty, but since you have never posted pictures of your hair, you are really asking people to make generalized assumptions. So generalized answers is all you'll get until you present your case to the forum in more detail.

  3. He lives next door so the travel part is really easy and he's giving me a special discount as there is some problem with his license that he assures me will be resolved in court next month. Apparently he is very well reviewed and he says he has 100's of YELP reviews but also says I can't see them because I don't have Windows 12 yet. I'm sure they're good though!

We're going to do 5000 grafts into my crown - why the crown you ask? Well, I'm a furniture mover by trade and I always get the end that makes me walk backwards so that's what people see first. But I'm taking a class in school to be a guy that looks through microscopes - not sure what that's called - so that works, too!

I'm not real clear on how the procedure will be done but he guarantees I'll never see any of the so-called 'scarring' with his 'new' technique of going UNDER the skin and pulling the grafts out from the inside, not plucking them out like everyone else. Nice! I'm pumped! His fee is $10 a graft - which I think is reasonable because he says the machine he's building to do this costs about that. So it's like I'm getting it for COST! No markup!

He also say I'm the PERFECT candidate. Not sure why...

Well, I gotta go, I promised Dr. Bob I'd cut his lawn today and also keep an eye out for the Publisher's Clearinghouse Van he is expecting later.

  4. Based on my need to return to my lifestyle quickly and without raising flags,

You don't have to respond, but I am curious about the above statement. What about your lifestyle warrants keeping the HT a secret? I see it a lot here for some and for others it a non-issue. After 80+ posts here, I am sure you know that for a few weeks after the procedure it's somewhat difficult to hide.

  5. I don't see any redness, it's like you never had a HT and hairs just magically started growing.

Thanks, Rootz. That was my hope, there was very little native hair up there and that's exactly what is going on (no redness, no bumps, no scarring), and it does looks like its magic growth!

I plan on magically growing it long until my wife freaks out.

I edited the above photo to point out the hairline and the ARROW points to a small discolored mark so that you can see how it's grown in on that new hairline. Since the TILT of the head does not really match, that little mark is the base point for comparison.

  6. I'm posting a "1 month after Procedure" and an "18 Week" photo. I am supposed to be at around 25% growth - so I'm pretty pumped. I *HATE* wearing my hair back but right now it's all I can do as it is still less than one (1) inch long and I can barely even ask it to go in any direction except up.

I expect additional growth and fullness between now and year's end. Plus the new hairs are a bit wiry and a few are bent/thin but as I understand that's normal. Got no complaint about the color matching too.

  7. .. i came to know that there will be an option to cover front sides of your bald area with help of PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy) rather than HT(Hair Transplantation). Because through this treatment can fill thickness area by applying plasma blood cells for regenerating hair.

Are you sure you read that here? PRP is not an alternative to a HT. That's been discussed here many times. Pull up PRP in the SEARCH feature.

  8. If your hair is a direct result of your admitted poor diet and habits, and you are making a change for the better, there should be noticeable results within the year. And drink some water, man - you need to stay hydrated! I'd look at a new hairstyle, too. I hate cold ears.

  9. It sounds pretty normal. Yes, it will shed, yes, it will look thin, then in 3 4- month the growth will start. Why would you be worried that the grafts won't grow? You must have had confidence in KSL - you had it done there, right? It's a little late to ask for photographs of other patients!
