  1. Man, the work looks so clean and refined and with Dr Lorenzo doing all the work himself, you know you are in for a great result.

He is the only doctor in the world that I know of that does all the follicular unit extraction himself and implants the grafts.....

  2. @TomCruise, I decided on this doctor due to the recommendation from this site and the proximity. I live way too far for others and I trusted this site (which I apparently should not have). When I went to the consultation, there were photos presented on a screen that looked far better than the ones on the site (at least to me). I felt confident after the consultation that I was in good hands. I am seeing the doctor this Friday. I will post again afterwards on how that goes and if a refund is provided. Also, I have an appointment directly afterwards with Scalp Aesthetics in Rochester, NY. I'm hoping to at least have my scars camouflaged. I had the strip scars from previous procedures, but now have a very large blob one with no hair growth that prevents me from ever cutting my hair short. It's been a traumatic experience as well as a depressing one. I considered doing the SMP on entire head, but am hesitant of this. I've been through enough failure when it comes to hair restoration. If anyone has any advice concerning the SMP, that would be great. Thanks all for the comments and feedback and yes, please don't rely solely on recommendations from this site.

Out of interest, what part of the transplant did the doc do?

  3. Dr Hakan was one of the doctors on my short-list as I had been very impressed with his showcase results. However lately I have seen many patients of his on this forum who seem to be getting poor results. I just hope that in getting accredited on this forum standards have not slipped from the increase in business.

Yes, this is an emerging (and worrying) trend.....having said that a lot of these patients haven't reached the 12 month mark yet.

  4. Want to do my surgey this summer so i really need help to find a good surgeon in Europe that has shown very good results for the maximum cost of 1euro/grafts as it says in the topic.

    Kind regads

You won't. Why are you setting your standards so low man? You get what you pay for and hair surgery is no different. Better to save up and go with a doctor with proven good results rather than having surgery this summer. Is there a reason why it has to be this summer?

  5. Hi Aaron,

Before rushing into another surgery at such a young age, I really would wait and just see how things turn out with the scar.....I know it is easier said than done, but the very worst thing you can do with your hair is act out of desperation.

You may also be seeing things which other people are not, and it may not be as bad as you think. If you post a couple of photos here you will get some honest feedback from good people.

  6. I noticed from people that have had HT's in the front and midsection that in the first two weeks or so they have the illusion of a full head of hair at the front where all the grafts have been implanted, but by the fourth week or so all the grafts have fallen out and they look quite bald (i.e. into the Ugly Duckling stage).

When you are trying to keep your HT a secret, I would have thought this sudden transformation must look quite strange to work colleagues and wonder whether people got any comments about this at work?

  7. I had to chose b/w rahal and feriduni at start, but when I came across post pics of patients b/w them I would say Feriduni wins hands down in hair lining..its not rahal is bad, both are extremely excellent doctors, but when it comes to hair line feriduni does best work in it...but others could say rahal is better, but its my personal opinion ;):)

I think you chose very well dude. I have never seen a bad result from Feriduni!
