  5. I started taking finasteride over a year ago, I went to my family doctor and asked him what I could do for hair falling out. It was just a casual question, without doing any research or anything. He recommended finasteride. Honestly I had never asked ab side affects or anything. Never crossed my mind that it could have side affects until I joined this site and saw everyones comments about it. It has really helped me. I would definitely give it a try regardless of the side affects if you wanna try to preserve your current hair. I no longer see multiple hairs in the sink. Well, That is before my hair transplant. Now im experiencing shockloss from the ht
  6. i agree with Greatjob. Why would your doc want to perform another surgery on a 19 year old kid, excuse me 20. Don't mean for that to sound harsh but dang.

  11. Here I am one month post op. dang, shock loss is really taking its toll. Hairs are falling out left and right. Most of the transplanted hairs have fallen out. My eyes might be playing tricks on me but I feel like some of the transplanted hairs are breaking the surface, I sure hope they are. sorry these pics aren't that good.
  12. good gosh!!! your hair looks freakin awesome! im stoked for you. and how far along are you now?> and do you shave your head in the back? just wondering what guard you use if any..
  13. when you say operation, do you mean the hair transplant results?
  14. I'm having a MRI done on my shoulder this week and was wondering if anyone knows if the dye they put in your blood stream can affect the grafts? I will be one month post op.
  15. no side effects for me that I have noticed. It has definitely helped with my hair falling out and what not. It takes a while to get going but just stick with it. I have been on the meds for almost a year.
  16. keep your head up bro!! I take that same dosage but only m/w/f, maybe that will be ok for you
  17. I was told to not do anything strenuous for a month but that doesn't seem to bad to jump rope and elliptical. but then again why risk messing up the scar. I'd wait a couple more weeks. in my opinion.
  18. split the difference and go with 1800-2000. just my opinion. Nobody ever says somebody has too much hair;)
  19. question yall? I was exactly 15 days post op and I wore a hat to a football game. I was wearing the hat fairly tight like i normally would. But today I noticed that a lot of the new grafted hairs fell out from the hat rubbing. I can actually see tiny single hairs in my hat. I know they say they are anchored at 7 to 10 days but im regretting my decision of wearing the hat. At 15 days post op, is this too soon for the hairs to be falling out? or do yall think i did damage to the grafts?? im kinda worried now.
  20. thanks man and good luck with your next procedure!! keep us updated
