    I think its starting to get a little better. I think I might be a full 18 monther. lol Hopefully my expectations aren't too high for 2200 grafts. time will tell;)

    ok thanks spanker, I do appreciate the response. I'm not sure how to attach my link but my journey can be found under "finally bit the bullet". I do have some growth it just seems to be slower than most. I'm on finasteride but no rogaine

    Well I am nearly 6 months post op. Maybe Im just being paranoid but I feel like I might be behind the expected timeline. My question is, if I am suppose to be 60 percent of the way there at 6 months, Is this a number based off of someone who is taking rogaine and what not. Or would this factor in at all?

    well it has been five long months. I think I am a slow grower unfortunately. What do yall think? should I be expecting more at this point? I guess its too early to tell if I will need another transplant for density. I received 2200 grafts

    way before my hairtransplant procedure, I spoke with my personal doctor about hair loss. He started me on finasteride. He was probably a norwood 6 and was taking finasteride for his prostate I believe. The hair that grew back on his crown was nothing less than impressive just from the finasteride he states. He wasn't even concerned about his hair loss, it just started growing and was impressed because he wasn't even trying to fix his hair loss problem. I also spoke with a reputable doctor on this forum and told him what my personal doctor stated that it grew hair back on his crown, and he said he had never heard of that. He said it just maintains your current hair. He didn't believe me in other words.

    Well it has been four months since my transplant. I feel like my hair is growing slower than most, unfortunately. maybe I should have started minoxidil after my transplant. Will a three hair graft grow all three hairs at the same rate? I see a lot of single hairs growing, just wondering if there is more to come from some of those.

    thanks fellas for yalls input. I think I will wait and see the results of the transplant without minoxidil. the reason why I am scared to start it is, I read that It causes wrinkles in the face. I looked old enough before my transplant so I don't want to add to the whole ageing look. lol Have yall experienced that? And is it a pain in the butt to apply it on a daily basis?

    Well im about two months post op and was wondering if I should start minoxidil? If it promotes growth for newly transplanted hairs, would the new transplanted hairs shed if I were to stop? I would like to speed this waiting game up as much as possible, I just cant see myself applying it for the rest of my life. I have been on finasteride for about a year and it has helped with the shedding of my current hair. Thanks for any input.

    Can someone help me decipher if these numbers are good or bad? I'm assuming 4's are the best? Unfortunately I didn't have any. Thanks 1-574 2-1124 3-539 total=2237

    yeah, I had some of the hairs start growing immediately and haven't stopped or shed. You can tell in my albums if you wanted see those. Im not sure if they will eventually fall out but it has been two months
