  1. Ive reached my 3 month mark today, ill post a full update in the next couple of days but things are really good, the front is starting to come in nicely, one side is slightly weaker but i should start seeing some proper results over the next few months.
  2. Thanks Pete, it seems to be improving weekly. Really happy with the results so far.
  3. Looking great Petchski! Looks like you managed to hang on to quite a few grafts.
  4. Stunning result! Bet you are very happy.
  5. Here is my 2 month update. Feeling has mostly returned to the recipient area, all the shedding seems to have stopped and using concealer I can go out without feeling at all self concious about my hair, which is great! As you can see in the photos my redness is fading but not gone completely, hopefully by the 3rd or 4th month it will be.
  6. Full update at my 2 month mark but shedding has stopped, redness is subsiding. been using Nanogen to conceal things and its been really good.
  7. How about Tapatalk integration?
  8. Is it ok to use Toppik or Gofybr 1.5 months after surgery? I've managed to hold onto a fair amount of grafts but I'd like to use Gofybr for a few nights out coming up. Thanks
  9. Thanks for your input. I'm losing a few hairs each day when I wash my hair, seems like 10 - 15 hairs. I'm 5 weeks post op now, I'm not sure when the shedding will stop but I'm hoping that I'll be lucky and keep most of the transplanted hair.
  10. I'm still experiencing itching in the donor area. Not sure if its the Minioxidil or not. Aloe Vera gel seems to ease the itching though.
  11. I'm relieved to know that it's not just me that is suffering with the itching , although you have my sympathies! Hopefully when my pics are up tomorrow I can get some opinions on how things look.
  12. Coming up on my 1 month mark tomorrow, quick update with photos to follow tomorrow. Donor area fully healed, I have some shockloss at the back, not too bad but my wife noticed it. The donor area is still a little itchy, treating with aloe vera gel & saline spray. Recipient area is still numb. Started shedding over the last few days, not nice but expected. I've shed about 30% so far, one spot on my right temple is looking a little bare, although there is stubble there so I don't know if that will grow sooner than expected. I've had a few people in work ask me about my short haircut, I've made a joke out of it so far. No one has asked about the redness, which as I've said before, looks awful under the office lighting. I still feel very positive about everything, I think the next couple of months are going to be hard, especially if I shed a lot more. Thanks again for the support, any questions, fire away!
  13. Sam, I've read a few of your threads and I can see you are going through an ordeal. Looking at the pics you posed I think your new hair is a big improvement! I would definitely give it a bit longer and as Dolph suggested, some concealer would work wonders, you may even look like you have a full head of hair! I really hope you start feeling better about your surgery, all the best my friend.
  14. I'm now 25 days post op... First day back at work today, also first day back at the gym. No one has said anything to me about my hair but I have had a few looks. I think this is because it is a very different look for me and the redness is very apparent under the fluorescent lights in the office. I look awful under those lighting conditions but there isn't anything I can do about it as I cannot wear concealer as per the instructions from the clinic. I felt quite self conscious today but I'm sure that will pass and my hair is growing so it should be back to nearly pre op length in another 4 to 6 weeks providing I don't suffer any shock loss. With regards to shedding I've not noticed a huge amount but I have definitely shed some hair at the front hairline, the single hair grafts by the looks of it. Overall though it's not been too bad so far however I'm expecting the shedding to get worse over the next few weeks. I'm still quite numb in the recipient area and on the top of my head, hopefully that will subside soon. I'll post some photos at my 1 month mark which is this weekend coming. Thanks for the support guys.
  15. Oh, he is definitely an idiot, just like George Bush. Trump inherited his fortune, he didn't make it. Infact if you look into his finances you'll see he is actually in a lot of debt. He is scary, you've hit the nail on the head there my friend. He is using fear to whip up support amongst a certain demographic and it's working. What do I do for a living? I'm a Director of a company that I started in 2007.
  16. Is he? has he got the ticket to run for the Republicans yet? Bear in mind I live in the UK so I don't know everything about US politics but the only person that should be running the States is Bernie Sanders - obviously IMHO. Anyway, politics aside, Trump's hair is very strange.
  17. Sounds like you are on track, thanks for the update. I've not started shedding yet and my head is still numb on top. Have you had any shock loss? Happy New Year!
  18. I stayed some extra nights which I paid for myself. Food is extra and any spending money plus flights.
  19. I think it's 6 Euros for he first 1000, 4 Euros for the next 1000 then 2.5 Euros after that. You'll need to check with the clinic for the latest pricing, I'm only a patient, not a representative, sorry.
  20. If you go onto their website you can do an online consultation, Dr Lorenzo takes a few days to reply, but he will. With regards to logistics, if you have to fly in then 3 days in a hotel hear the clinic are provided as part of the cost. I was worried about the logistics too but to be honest it was easy. I enjoyed walking up to the clinic each day post op as Alcobendas is a nice area. Probably the trickiest part is the plane ride home and making sure you don't bump your head. Hope that helps, feel free to ask any more questions.
  21. My post op literature states not to wear a beanie or wool hat for 1 month after my operation.
