  1. Thanks all for kind replies and views ! Yeah, it's very affordable price and I hope Seborhheic dermatitis will not destroy new hair. I will write detailed story when transplant is done, of course with photos
  2. Hi guys!! After some months of researching and re-considerations about finding a good doctor I decided to go to Turkey and give it a go or try. I was in contact with several good clinics in Turkey and many factors decided to go to Istanbul at Dr. Erkan Demirsoy. I must say, at first, that clinics I did some emailing with, were equally good and only choice was the price, nothing more. Since my budget is very limited, a total spend would be around 4000EUR or little bit more - including airplane ticket, hotel etc. Dr. Demirsoy estimated around 3500 grafts over photos I sent to his agent Clemens Weber. Me and Clemens exchanged around 15 or more emails, very good guy indeed. I did wrote several times on forum that I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp which is now controlled with a small amount of redness but somehow over 7 years since I got SD my hair started to get thinner and fall of a bit year by year. Most problematic part of scalp is first frontal third where I lost most of hair, remaining part of scalp is OK for my standards. Not looking for 100% recovery but increasing most of the volume will be visually very significant and satisfying. I think that 3000-3500 grafts would be extremely boosting and expecting a great change. That's around 6000-7000 new hairs. I did a digital measure from my photos of my first third of frontal area where my hair is most degraded and counted around 10-20 (thinned or partially thinned hairs) per cm2. I presume that only transplant can be helpful there since minoxidil and finasteride only works in central or back portions of scalp if we talk about regrowth. I used minoxidil 5% for several years twice a day for 1ml in the morning and 1ml in the evening. Nothing special as for results, or better said, none. Anyway, I am not afraid, not even euphoric or excited. I just want the date as soon as possible to come. I can live now with short buzzed hair since I am lucky to have good shaped head but, hey, don't want the bad boy look... I see all this as a procedure, which it is. I had several years ago a nose job which is another dimension of surgery so I can wait peacefully for another 12 months to see the first and final results from Dr.Erkan Demirsoy and his team
  3. Thanks Cliff! I see that you are categorized as a N-VII? Seems a lot judging your photos. Your sides are pretty high which is good. Have any photos after the surgery?
  4. Basically it's a tattoo, it's gonna fade by some percent but not all, specially because dark pigment is gonna stay, say, forever. Probably will need a 'restoration' from time to time but surely not every 2 - 5 years. My tattoo on hand is painted with black pigment and since I love to sunbath and spend literally weeks in the sun, it only faded a little for full 4 years.
  5. Nice and realistic approach. Since this man is very young, he actually restored his hair not grew it like it's from a 18 year old. Donor hair should be kept as much as possible for potential HTs since in coming years hair will only fall off, not regrow. Thus this solution is the best for almost every thinker who is about to do a HT. Thanks for nice photos!
  6. Do you think I should 'demand' this procedure in two days or it could really be done in one day? I see that opinions are different...
  7. It's a good team of Dr. Demirsoy, as according to Clemens Weber, he said it's a perfectly normal for Dr. Demirsoy and the team to do such a big procedure per day. I am a bit confused since I saw his works of, let say, 3300 grafts or more, usually done in two days. A bit worried for grafts survive rate for such a long period of time if done in one day... Nevertheless his works are amazing!
  8. I have an offer at a good Turkish clinic (well know on forum) to transplant 3500 grafts in one session. Do you think that's a lot, I am a bit concerned about grafts-survival rate etc. ?
  9. I can only read messages in my email but on forum. Anyway, still waiting to unlock that option if that's the problem. Thanks for reply, I'll wait for some days more and call him to see what's going on.
  10. For some reason I cannot reply to your message. I contacted Clemens Weber and he responded 6 days ago that he will answer me as soon as Dr Demirsoy sees my photos but until now no response. Did you wait that long too?
  11. B-KW, can you send me private message since I can't send you one, I am locked for some reason. I have few questions to ask you about your procedure, please
  12. This is just in theory question. Lets say you are not able to transplant more hairs from your donor zone. You don't have sufficient hairs on your body or beard. So, practically, you're done But you have a friend or there is a person with same blood type and similar hair color, structure who is willing to give you his hair for money or not. It doesn't matter. Would it be possible to transplant hair from other person to your scalp if blood type is same? Just wondering.
  13. Very nice news, everything will go well I hope! What was the price per graft at Bisanga?
  14. Yes but there is a difference between judgment in vocal response why somebody has no hair and someone who is deliberately overweight for example. When you are overweight because you don't care about yourself, that's totally different from someone who is genetically fat or bald. Yeah, many girls or women just don't know why men going bald - because those who are losing hair have more testosterone which incline they are more man than those with full hair. From science point of view that's true. But since we are poisoned with Hollywood crap that everybody must look like plastic actors, pressure is big. It's the same story with girls, those who have small breasts or are overweight, men are judging with same disrespect like girls do - no argue in that.
  15. Interesting how women perceive all that. I heard my friends and non-friends talking about how guys lost their hair and not even reach 30 - like it's their fault, how horrible. They didn't ask themselves even once why all of them with 30 years old have tits 'till floor, fat legs and greasy stomachs, but hey - people see only what they want to see.
  16. Thanks for a reply! Please do not forget us and send some photos, every picture or information is vital for future people (us) who wants a HT, specially at Turkish docs.
  17. I've just seen your response. Thanks for that. SD cannot be completely resolved. However it can be treated very good which I am doing right now. I did seen a lot of posts here where doctors are claiming that they did many procedures on SD scalps with no side-effects. I will think about it but for now, I am looking for a good doctor in Turkey since I am an hour and a half by plain from them..
  18. Very nice, it's excellent now, I can presume what is gonna look in 6-9-12 months!
  19. It would be nice if you send at least one photo to see your current hair status. Anyway, I totally understand you. My short advice would be to talk to your wife and try FUE procedure. I ALSO have seborrheic dermatitis which I control much better from when it started many years ago. SD itself probably came because of re-balance of DHT in early 20's so hair-loss was eminent. Try to control SD as much as you can with home remedies. Did you try Selsun blue shampoo with 1% selenium sulfide? Use it every other day in two weeks and then every other 3th, 4th, when you remember. When having SD, some people have to wash their hair by needing, which means sometimes twice a day! In the morning and in the evening. Don't let it to be too greasy. Try with Alpecine shampoo with caffeine every other day when not using Selsun blue (for instance..). Active oxygen (or Hydrogen peroxide) is a great anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory substance and cheap also. I am planning FUE also and got your concerns about new transplanted hair is it going to fall of 'cause of SD? Well, it ain't gonna help me either to stay like this, right? If new hair does fall off, some slight scarring will be left in donor area which can be greatly filled with Skin Micro Pigmentation, no one will notice. That's the worst scenario. Try it, there's only one life, money is just money and you are most important
  20. Probably there is in some lab but pharmaceutic companies would buried themselves if they put it in the market. There's much better money when keeping you alive, on the edge, forever then cured forever.
  21. I don't understand what seems to be the issue here? You have an outstanding result! If I would see you for the first time, I would say you have great hair and couldn't even see that there has been a transplant. Bravo!!
