I was planning on leaving Chicago to Ottawa

This is not a question I would like to ask, but I have too.
I got a DWAI about two years ago. (I blew a .62) Yes I learned a lesson. I am very lucky I did not hurt anyone.
I would like to go back to Canada for hair transplant #2
Since 9/11 Canada can let you in or they cannot for a DUI. I was wondering if anyone in a similar situation was able to get in.
Obviously I will have a doctors note, show that my plane leaves in two days, and I will not be driving anywhere. Plus spending 10K+ in the country might influence a border crossing guards way of thinking.
Just looking for thoughts... I could schedule it try, and then if the guards say NO i'm out a deposit + plane ride.
Or maybe I can talk to the doc, about the deposit. I don't know. Thats why I am asking.
I am sorry I have to pose such a question.

You basically need a week off of work to heal.
However, the new grafts and the scar is very noticable more then a month afterwards
You will have to wear a hat or a beanie or something.
2nd Hair transplant 8 months and nothing
in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers

I had 2000 grafts, my second hair transplant 8 months ago (with a recommended and what I would consider a very good hair doctor) to thicken up the front 1/3 and toward the back. Its been 8 months and sooooo far huge huge disappointment.
I know I know wait wait.. bu my first one went sooooo smoothly (different doctor). I would think I would have noticed way more around 6 to 8 months, but all I have is a very noticeable hair transplant, up close its very ...... (and I get comments about having plugs)
The second issue is I can still feel scar tissue which is like a long speed bump across the back of my head.
I have read Spexs post on waiting a year, but I have yet to read any blog or personal profile where it took a whole year and then BAM! On the other side, I have read plenty of blogs who had nothing around 8 months and people saying just keep waiting, and its just more disappointment.
Excluding the people who post on behalf of Doctors, has anyone had a similar case or cases that I can look at to see?
thanks
