If you get sides, you need to stop. You can't power on through the sides, and the sides are not "psychological" We all know our own dicks really well. We know when we had to much to drink, or the chick is gross, or whatever. We know when our dick should be working but it isn't.
If you get sides and keep taking the drug, you will end up dickless

the results will speak for themselves. Come back and post updates

I hear what you saying NOW, but there is no way I could have heard what you were saying before my first HT.
I urge any person getting a HT, too buzz your hair down to a 1, just one time, to see how it looks.

A very interesting case, and I want it to work out. Keep us updated Please

You chose wisely

There is one guy who posted here, went to them. He threw a couple of post up, reported some good experience. I also tried google the company and some of the docs. Difficult to gather any information.
I have an appoint with Dr. Harris, see if you he can undo some of the damage from my 2nd HT. Maybe I will check out these guys as well.

I would not tell her. I got fooled into being totally open and honest, and it just lead to arguments and fights.

His entire staff is amazing; f***, even their taxi driver is really cool
-
Thin hair.. that will get you every time. I feel most docs don't talk about that with their thin hair patients

I am not a doctor and these opinions are my own. I actually flunked out of college because I couldn't write or spell. I represent no clinic. I only have a doctor picture so you will automatically trust in the things I say.

+1 The use of SMP in the poor areas and scars
You can go with the temporary SMP, and see how it works out.

Financing is the American way. Plus if this procedure brings you quality of life, then go for it.

NW5-NW6, I feel you are playing with fire going down this route.
You have 4500 - 5000 donor?? As in you do not know. You need some more consultations.
What are you looking to get? Front, the crown? Over all coverage?
Is your hair curly, thick or fine, this was greatly impact your results. If your numbers are right, you will still need concealer if your looking for the "full look"
I guess, I would like to know that picture you have of yourself when your HT is done. What do you look like? From there, people on this forum can help too see if that is possible.
-
What is your expected loss? What Norwood do you see yourself going too?
Where were the grafts placed? Front? Crown?
I get the feeling a 2HT would probably be worth it to you
-
Amazing results.
Education is the key..
That blog points out some of the potential pitfalls of a HT, that you would not read otherwise. People need to hear both sides of the equation, total cost honest expectations. Too often instead of learning form a negative experience, it is instead buried..

"take photos and label the months so you can look back"
Excellent advice.
Agree 100%, compare your pre op pictures to where you are now.

"Show me a patient by a top doc on this site that does't look better after 7500 grafts? "
I agree 100% If you plan it right, and work with someone who can predict where your hair loss will end up.
Game changer.
Just don't expect thick hair. I feel its really difficult to educate someone on that.
I''m not math guy like but lets say
FUT 7500 x $3 = 22500 add taxes flight etc rounds up nicely to $25000

How about the "illusion of density".
-
It's a decent read, and would be helpful for anyone considering a HT
Google search "“Why Hair Transplants Are a Bad Idea - Miami, FL”"
-
I wore my medical cap, and a snow hat for the first 7 days, and I worked out well
-
"If you are a nw5 to nw7 you have to be realistic. The surgeon will also tell you this."
On that road to a nw5 myself. I was not aware of what my HT would truly represent. Never once did I hear, were advise, or read that my hair would be "see through"
I am aware of my continue loss and always knew that I would need multiple HT's and was prepared for the expense. I just was very misguided to believe I could have a full head of hair for $30k,
Now had someone said, you will only be able to get 25% density. At least that would have been honest.
That information (even on this board that supposedly helps you), it is a pretty tough to figure that out. Plus the pics from the clinic look so great. No one shows you a pic of a NW5 with a $30k head, just out of the shower, or under light conditions where it is "see through." NW5+ up you are chasing a hair dragon (durrrr) I feel the board really fails to educate in that aspect.
Now a NW3 and your hair loss has stabilized. Any day of the week. There are some crazy great results out there.

Hey, if it doesn't come back.. schedule an appointment with a urologist that works with body builders and does TRT replacement.
These are the only doctors educated and familiar with Propecia issues.
Google search Urologist, TRT, <your city>
These guys will at least attempt a solution to get you back to normal.
The rest of the doctors and people will tell you to get healthy, talk to a shrink, or do some shit you never had to do before to get a erection.

"see through hair" That's what got me, and hit me blind sided. When I got my 2nd ht, i was just so disappointed because I could see right through it.
It is what it is, but it really took me by surprise.
