  1. Woooow Kconk Your videos are brilliant, I always wanted to do these sort of videos too. Great work keep it going :-)
  2. Yes Mate :-) I am still doing and addicted to body building!!! I am posting my picture to show you my new look. I use to be very skinny with bold head ) LOOK at me now :-)) I can't thank enough Health travel international to change my life around.
  3. Woowwwww This is amazing result and amazing video for people awareness of hair transplantation. Well done !!!
  4. Thanks man you're too kind. Really great to hear you are feeling motivated about getting your fitness up and taking some time out for you. I really relate to what you saying about having no time with family life, I was exactly the same. I know it's harsh but I realised I was just making excuses. You can always make time we just tend to put it off and make an excuse. Starting and changing habits is by far the hardest part, but once you into it a little, you will start to feel more energy and that will help to keep going. You will then be more confident as you see changes and hopefully that will spur you on. Life is hard at times we all have our struggles but it's important to make time for yourself too, I know I'm a better father, son and friend now that I'm happier in myself. You have my full support my friend! How's the hair?
  5. I must admit that having a hair transplant was start of big change in my fitness life. 3 years ago I was living a normal life and with little confidence year after hair transplant my confidence took me on different level. I also heard a lot of fitness people complaining about haters and negative comments from others. Thankfully, I have never experienced that. I am a family man with my feet firmly glued to the ground. I'm always happy to advice if ask and offer help when needed. Thanks for all the kind words and support.
  6. Thank you mate, here is my most recent picture :-)
  7. Thank you very much ontop that is most kind! I am definitely running with what I got, not letting age slow me down. I am more motivated at this age so I think definitely life beginning at 40. I just won the body building competition I have been competing in. Last year I was runner up but this year I did it J I will put a picture up too. Thank you!
  8. I didn’t mean to be shady? I have tried to be very open about my experience. Lots of people have sent me private message asking more details and I always try to answer when I get time. I got 1950 grafts, I went with Health Travel International flying from the UK, my Doctor was Dr Ercan and I paid 3700 pound. I chose the inclusive package so flights hotel and transfer included
  9. Dolph1969 Thank you very much. I feel great and enjoying every moment of my life
  10. Hello Kcon Yeah I did tell my family and friends I did ht. I told my family at the time and I told my friends when I had come back. I know lots of people want to keep it a secret but I didn’t really want to deal with it on my own if you know what I mean. I like to get lots of opinions and support. I was very bald so it would be obvious anyway so I thought I might as well tell people. I think not enough people talk about it so I definitely think you should do a video. I watched lots of videos and read blogs to help me decide so do it!
  11. I wish I had a good donor area. I wanted to have 3500 graft but I didn't have strong donor area.I hope I will have enough for my second operation :-)
  12. I think my hair transplant was the same when I was on my 12 weeks. I know some people had hardly any growth after 12 weeks but it looked great after 6 months... Just be patient its so early to tell anything yet.
  13. Hi zx_toth Thank you also for your very kind words they made me very happy J I mostly try to be inspiration to my children and show good habits and motivation but it is very nice to think I am inspiration for other people on here. Results on here inspired me to do research and have the operation so I’m glad if I can inspire somebody too. Thank you again very much
  14. Dear David – thank you for your kind comments. Yes I have kept up my training. There are days when I just can’t be bothered but it has become a way of life for me I try to be discipline because I don’t want to go back into bad habits. I am competing in competitions and this year I ranked higher than last year. I have attached some pictures. Your picture did change did you have new transplant? Thanks again
  15. Hello KConK Thanks for your kind words, I was very excited to show my result and body progress on here but I didn’t get so many comments yet. I work very hard for my appearance because I am not so young so it is more hard work than before. I did let it go after I marry and have my children I did put weight and lose my hair and I start not to care a little because I feel there was nothing I could do about it. I decide one day to be more active and because I had so little hair left I really was thinking to myself ‘what could get worse?’ so I might as well try it. I felt same as you even though I don’t have so much hair as you (you are having a lot!) I did feel much better when I saw new hair line even though I could not get so many grafts from my very thin donor area. When I felt more confident I decide to start to work on my body again and looking at my old pictures from now I look and feeling like different person and everybody is telling me same. I got more energy to play with my kids and more confidence in my personal life. Your looking really good in your picture as well! I saw your old picture and you to looking like another person now. You looking much younger with this spike hair style Yeah I did have PRP when I had my transplant. Actually they gave to me free. When I had consultation with surgeon he said he think I would get good benefit from it. I didn’t really know anything about this because I didn’t see when I was researching. They just decide there to add it to my package with no charge. I think because my hair is thin and fine they think I would get better result with it. They were very good I enjoyed my operation I even fell asleep J It felt like holiday for me away from work and in nice hotel and such nice hospital. I was nearly going to go with another clinic but I’m glad I didn’t and gone with HTI and glad for you to your hair looking really great! How many grafts you had?
  16. So I've been working really hard for the last 12 months on my physique trying to get in good shape to compete in some small men's health competitions. 2 years ago (before my HT) I was overweight, sluggish and lacking in confidence. I know my hair is real thin but as I think I said in my hair blog last year, given the really limited hair I had to work with, the new hair line has given me the confidence to turn my life around. I'm really proud of my final body results and just wanted to share and thank everybody on here for helping to give me the confidence to do something about my hair loss and overall appearance and lifestyle - Thanks guys
  17. Thank you that is very kind yes I am so happy. I was nervous before because there is so much to research/read/conflicting advice but I'm so glad I was brave because nowI have my confidence back again All the best
  18. Hello Wolf I had a very good experience with Health Travel International. They are a UK based company with a clinic in Istanbul, Turkey. I have just reached 8 months and couldn't be happier with my results and my experience with the company. I have very thin hair and bad donor area but I managed to get good result for me. They were so helpful, arranged all flights and accommodation for me and looked after me so well when I was there so I only had to concentrate on my results. I have put a blog on here of my results. You should do plenty research it is very important. they reply straight away and are so helpful. Good luck with your HT
  19. I had 1950 grafts. As you can see I have very thin and sparse hair so my donor area is not good. I just wanted to restore my hairline as best I could with the hair I had left
  20. I am 8 months post-op following FUE Hair Transplant with Health Travel International (1950 grafts). Now that my results are visible I wanted to share them on here as this forum helped me a lot when I was doing my research before deciding to have the op. I am 42 years old. I am fit and healthy, go to the gym regularly, do not smoke and drink only occasionally. I have 5 other brothers. 3 are totally bald. Two with receding hairlines. So baldness is hereditary within the family. My older tried for years with different hair growth creams, oil etc but to no avail. Hair transplant was never an option in Malaysia where we grew up. It was not available then. I first started losing my hair at age 21. It started receding at the hairline and just got worse over time despite my best efforts to hide the bald patches. I never tried any medications, treatments, as I never believed that these would ever work. I knew my brother tried for years without any success. I kinda accept that it was a natural process and part of my genes. My hair loss was something that I always try not to think about in my day to day life but often reminded of whenever I looked at myself in the mirror. So every time this happened I lost a bit of my self-esteem and confidence. And had to pick myself up again. This came to head last year when I was on holiday in Borneo and my relatives made comments about my lack of hair and I should just shave my head as my remaining hair was all over the place. This definitely knocked my confidence further. After doing some research on-line and hearing about the great work being done in Turkey, I spoke to and met with some patients who had used Health Travel International and had great results, so I decided to go ahead with them. They arranged everything for me. All flights and transfers were arranged in advance without any problem and the team were very co-operative and flexible to my needs. The accommodation was superb. The room had a large double bed which was very comfortable and which I needed especially after the surgery. The traditional Turkish breakfast was delicious. The treatment from the company and medical staff was excellent. I was very well looked after. I was made at ease before, during and after the surgery. The medical staff would always check if I felt okay and gave assurance all the time that things were going well and according to plan. I never once felt isolated or uninformed. The hospital facility standard was without doubt five star, extremely modern, brand new and spotlessly clean. The transplanted hair grew to a few millimetres in the first four weeks before starting to fall out. I was told that this was normal. Before long 25-30% of the transplanted hair started growing again which became apparent after 8 weeks. Beyond the 8th week, hair started to grow at steady pace. Now I am at 8 months post-surgery and my hair has come in leaps and bounds with up to 80% of the transplanted hair growing. I would definitely recommend Health Travel International simply because I had such a good experience with them. The service, the advice, the surgery and most of all the results are just beyond my wildest dream. As you can see I have very thin hair and only limited donor hair so I think my results are very good considering. The price for the full package including flights, transfers, 4* accommodation, fantastic medical treatment, after-care, medications and constant support was a bargain! My new hair has given the extra confidence and has put a big smile on my face. I can’t give enough thanks to Suat and his team.
