  1. nah i had strip, i was just learning what things were called then and got it wrong, and haven't changed it since. i can't work out how to update it. i never tried to pull a graft out but I'm sure someone on here would know. i just didn't want to touch or disturb them. i didn't even touch it for about a week after, and i only used water and soap mixed together to wash it for the first week
  2. hey i had almost a hair per transplant graft i think? i don't know i remember seeing a lot of little hairs.i didn't bother to wear a hat and if it was for 5 mins 3 days a week i wouldn't waste my time plus risk the grafts
  3. I'm pretty sure you will be out of it for a few days. i spent near on a week just resting, and I'm a fit and healthy guy. i couldn't imagine going to work after only a few days. Rest up and heal fast
  4. unless there is blood i think you will be fine mate, when you go to sleep i assume you will be upright and not laying down? in the first few days after my transplant i went to touch my forehead and i wiped my hand over the grafts so hard i almost cried. i was terrified i had stuffed the front half of my hair in the middle but it appears to be fine. accidents do happen but just try to do as little as possible and relax! all the best to you as well
  5. Cheers mate! i will keep on updating this, hopefully as my hair grows it should become a mix between Macklemore and Marcel Nguyen's hair styles.. Hopefully if it turns out thick enough
  6. actully dude i was just looking at your before photos, i reckon your hair is going to look awesome. i think you are going to have a Bieber hairline
  7. haha rest up mate, i tried to do as little as possible because i didn't want to stretch my scar any more than necessary. yeh i had a transplant my hair is at where it is now after close to 7 months so hopefully it still has more to go. check my thread for my latest pic, i don't think my planned hair style is to a lot of peoples likings though the band for the swelling is an interesting idea, i wonder if it will work?
  8. haha wait until it pools up around your eyes and nose you will look funny as! are you there by yourself or with company?
  9. Dude that is awesome good on ya bro, you will be so happy that you got it done, well at least for the next few years. hopefully the rest doesn't disappear too quickly. one question, why didn't he go back a bit further? looking at it though you have been set up nicely for if you need another hair transplant in the future. do you have any photos with more of your face? either way I'm sure you will be glad to have some hair back!
  10. Hey that looks really good. Everytime i see someone with smp i think shit man that looks sick!
  11. haha no worries mate, i am trying it out at the moment, and if i end up with enough hair i would like to end up with something like marcel nguyen. There was nothing professional about this cut either, it was cut by my mate, and in no way is he a hairdresser keep up with the comments anyway always good to get peoples opinions. cheers Tom
  12. well coming up for 7 months and here we are. Been playing around with my hair styles and have decided I'm going to rock the undercut and see how i go with time! dispite the scar and still slightly thin on top. I have posted up some pictures, with and without wax in my hair Let me know what you think Cheers Tom
  13. I personally would plan to fly after say 5-6 days and rest up before flying. For me the first few days were rather uncomfotable and i enjoyed staying in bed
  14. Keep on going with the meds dude see if they work, it hasnt been long yet and just hope it works out, if not get a transplant. I knida wish i had tried the meds when i was your age, i might have saved a lot of my hair. Oh happy birthday for the 15 th, i was just reading through your older posts
  15. close enough to 6 months, so i have put some more updated pics in my profile link
  16. when your young 4 years is heaps. i spent the last 4 years looking like grandpa with no hair on the top of my head. looking back at my hairloss, it all went from 18-22 ish then stopped so far. i got my transplant at 26 and now i finally look my age again, well within reason but… you don't know what is going to happen with your hair and how far it will progress. and in reality i don't really think anyone else cares about your hair apart from yourself but it still hurts.
  17. Hopefully they all come through and have the same hairline in your first pics because that hairline actually looked pretty good on you! I will be watching this one because those neograph machines seem to be a bit dodgy
