  1. Hey not too sure at the moment, i think i might keep taking them for a little bit The guys at work just gave me some funny pictures they took before and after the transplant
  2. Why would you have exhausted your donor supply? i had the whole top of my head done and i have plenty of donor left, my hair hasn't changed much since about 21 and knowing what i did i wish i had it done earlier, intact if i knew i would have. also you don't know that your hairloss has stabilised at 28, just like me i have the whole crown and sides to disappear still, just because mine has been the same for 6 years doesn't mean that it won't start falling out again?
  3. Im sure it will look heaps better than before. i don't think your age is the issue but the way the hair was planted in that semi circle but i assume that it will still look good Time is a pain as you have to wait but your not that far off now man! Chin Up and be proud you have done something about it rather than being a balding man!
  4. I really dont understand why you all are giving this poor guy so much greif. Obviously none of you know what it is like to loose hair at such a young age. I look back and wish that i had a transplant at a younger age, even if i had to have another one now i would have been much happier not wasting my young years looking like my mates dads. I assume most of you are loosing hair later in life and just dont understand how it feels.
  5. Im keen on some styling advice too, i proberly need to get my hair professionally cut, will be the first time in years but im not too sure what styke to go for
  6. Well, now it has been over 9 months. Wow is all i can say, it is making me so happy to have hair again, no longer do i feel like i have to wear hats out all the time although i still do wear them i thought i would post up the first picture as a reference to exactly how bad i looked before the transplant. Very happy is all i can say! In these pictures the sides and back have just again been shaved down to a number 1, you can only just see the scar.
  7. haha lol, only one customer at work, who is a cosmetic surgeon has asked me about it. i don't really think people care too much about it though which is good i really just wanted to try a hair style that i have never been able to do before which is good fun i am really grateful for having hair again although developing hair and can't wait to see how it looks at the year mark! cheers for the comments anyway guys much appreciated
  8. hey man I'm quite sure you will be all right, although i didn't loose any hairs for a good few weeks after the transplant. i wouldn't imagine that they should fall out right away so i would say what you saw is what you are going to get... but, your hairline is in a good spot now and i am quite sure it will look good so stress less dude
  9. yes the guys who told me it was a waste of money have none, intact none of my close friends have hairloss
  10. looks good. it is amazing how you still have a normal hair line before the procedure? am i correct in saying that is diffuse thinning?
  11. nearly all my mates etc know about my hair transplant since we see each other usually on a weekly basis. i have had mostly positive responses from most of them about it looking good etc, i have had the "it is such a waste of money, man you could have bought a evo 9 " was one of them, along with many others. My boss who is a nw6 still thinks my hair looks synthetic and makes out he still has more hair than me, we all know he is joking though Another co worker thought it was wrong that a balding man can escape baldness, and that if you are bald you should have to be bald for ever (he can go get fu**ed)
  12. Merry christmas to you as well mate, with the number of grafts you have available you should be able to get a pretty good outcome. If you don't mind me asking what doctors have you seen in regards to your transplant?
  13. Just thought i would post a christmas update on how my hair is going. it has defiantly thickened heaps and now you can't really see my scalp which is nice! all in all i am quite happy though i need to get some pictures of the rear end, i think i need a top up at the back because it looks thinner compared to the front
  14. by the looks of those pictures i would agree with the above, no hair transplant. but.. you have the perfect head shape to shave your hair and go with that look, and that is what i would do in your case. looking at your profile picture stay shaved it looks great on you.
  15. don't wear the hat don't worry even if you have lost a graft it is only 1, as mentioned above no body else will notice anyway. but usually if you have lost a graft you will also have blood!
  16. hey mate, the hair does look good but i do agree with the above comment that it looks like they just planted a semi circle and just stopped???? otherwise looking great and looks like the swelling has gone down a bit!
  17. Hey man, post up some pictures of your hair. Check Themirrorofdreams his thread may be of some use to you. I think depending on your hairline maybe a transplant could be an option?
  18. have you tried this before? what colour toppik would i choose do you think?
