  1. Bill, I am an Indian origin myself, so I guess I know better than you. Not all Indian has thick and wavy hair. He is only posting patient's results from his area and or maybe southern part of India. And yes, those people has darker complexion and thicker hair. What about northern Indians or even non-Indians? Can he just post 1 patient result who has fairer complexion and straight hair? I am not being bias or racism to anyone. This is just my opinion.
  2. All I can see is Dr. madhu just trying to get potential recommendation here by only posting pictures of patient with curly/wavy hair. No patients with straight hair? He doesn't come to this forum to answer and explain some questions. Only posting pictures. I will lose hope in this forum if recommendation is given so easily. I should just do my specialization in hair transplant and get 5-7 patients with curly/ wavy hair and post it here.
  3. All the patients album so far didn't impress me. Just wondering does he even have any patients with straight hair?
  4. It could only be possible where most abrasion occurs. Maybe the front or back of the scalp and it will only be thinning or maybe tiny bald spots.
  5. The 'a' pattern doesn't address the crown, you can put in more grafts to get a better results. While 'v' is vertex and as you know the crown area is the most dense area. you need somewhere around 50 FU cm2 or more to get a natural result.
  6. You should not be using minoxodil 2 weeks before your HT. If you are going for 3000 grafts, it will only cover the frontal region and not the crown
  7. I think hair loss due to wearing a hat wont be permanent
  8. R u planning for a HT? Where do u prefer to get it done? In asia or in uk? In asia you can go to dr. pathmovich, bangkok or dr. Humayun , Islamabad. In uk, u should try dr. Farjo in manchester.
  9. I agree. Its hard to believe some people wears hat 24/7, even ppl who wears a turban will take it off when they r bathing, sleeping or whenever they are at home !
  10. It will only cause hair loss due to oil level or circulation issue if you even shower and sleep with a hat
  11. Thats good that you had a reply, as far as I know about this 2 doctors is Dr H is more honest and he guarantee his work. Dr Ahmad had some issues before so choose wisely, I am not favoring anyone but you should do your homework. Try to talk to his patients, wishing you good luck with your HT journey. All the best.
  12. Severn, In order to wear a turban, all hairs are normally tied together, that stress is the main reason for traction alopecia. Not only muslims, sikhs wear a turban as well. Wearing hats does not cause hair loss
  13. Dr.Madhu, how many grafts did that patient had? As you are new to me, can you tell me where are from and the location of your clinic? How much do you charge for FUT and FUE?
  14. maybe he wore a wig, I remember he retire from international duty because his team mates tried to pull his hair off...
  15. Maybe the doc didn't mean to ignore you. Maybe he doesn't like to give his number publicly, Sometimes people do make some prank call. Doc H did e mail me and gave me his number so I guess you should do the same?
  16. Dr H, I am a bit confused with his donor area, in your opinion is it safe to do a 3000 grafts FUE?
  17. In the mean time get some TSH test, I understand how important to know how many donor hairs u have before going for a HT, but don't worry, just relax, u will be fine. where r u from?
  18. depends of hair shaft, mine is extremely thick
  19. I have send u some pics.. about 9 of them
  20. can u do a check up? it could be lack of zinc or other minerals. was it the same since you are young? do any of your family members have similar donor area as yours? since its 1 cm, maybe its not that clear? let me know your e mail add, i will post you my pics, its also 1cm but I had some scarring due to sports but some top notch docs top me it's good, I will e mail you those pics.
  21. looking at ur second pics.. may I know your how long is ur hair? 1 cm or more/less? try asking joe tillman, he will get some info from dr.wong or dr.hasson and they are helpful
  22. u have to ask those top docs here, send a picture to them and they will happily help u but from pictures u might get a rough estimation and it will be better to meet them in person. sorry, I couldn't help u and I hope u will have a good donor area.
