  1. Hi,

I can understand what you feeling like. I had hair transplant with Dr. Bhatti on Aug 21 2014 and its been 5 month , my results are almost same as yours. i will try to update my thread soon...

do you mean at the same 6 month Mark OR you have similar Growth at your 5 mnths ... that He has in his 9 Mnths ?

His Hair Look quiet quiet sparse , I dunno but if you check his post Op photos , you can see the spaces left between grafts .... Now with such gaps , I dunt think its ever gonna Look Dense at all , Just my 2 cents !

  2. Dr. Radha is the Best that I could get out from this forum , I hope my surgery with her goes just as well as my friend , and I know I have chosen FUT over FUE , Just for the yield ..... 98 % v/s 80 % (Fut/Fue)

I shall document everything here on this forum , as I believe I learnt a Lot for this site , Also I again state , Not All doctors recommended here are Equal ... so do your over Research .

  3. Guys wanna know if it is alright to apply Rogine / Minoxidyl 5 % and then wear a Baseball Cap and venture Out in the Summer Sun ?

Do you think that the HEAT from the Cap can affect the Grafts becos of the Alcohol in Rogaine and Hence Higher Redness and eventually Harm to Graft "After " 1 Month Post Hair Transplant ??

Guys who have experience and have used rogain in the sun after HT Please help on this !

  4. No worries bro , just do not keep checking it everyday , U have done your bit , Now u can only wait ... the Result is Not in your hands anymore , U are over the Ugly duckling and the careful stage , Now all you can do is continue your rogaine / Propecia and be patient . The grafts should start coming in soon , be aware that they will appear very tiny and thin at forst before they thicken , so In all case wait till 12 Months till the final Product , good Luck

  5. Hi

I am in my third month and for now all is well. The hardest part ugly duckling phase is over. the new hair seems to come out slowly. But too early to say that the HT is a success. I cannot give you much of an update since for now i lost all the implanted hairs and waiting for the hair growth .

So i shall post pics and also update you once i see more progress.

    Keeping my fingers crossed.

    //Rad

Do not worry decow , 3 months is just the Very start of things , do not expect much until 4 months , when the growth picks up like weeds in a jungle , you are in expert hands , one of the Few Best FUE Docs in the world , the other 2 of my fav. are Dr. Lorenzo , and Dr. Bisanga , I choose FUT with Dr. Radha simply becos I think it gives better yield , But Now I am Nervous when I see a Scar on the Back , I just viewd a Procedure of Repair with Dr. Lorenzo ... and Boy did that Hair grow wow , I am now again Thinking FUE , But Lorenzo seems Full till April :(

  6. Sorry, NewLook, I forgot to answer one of your questions: yes, I had a HT about 20 years ago in Brazil. The resul was not very satisfactory and the Tools were totally different as you can see by the scars. I was really concern about having a second HT when I found this Forum. I must say a big thank you to all the Team who works so hard to Keep this Forum so informative and to Dr. Erdogan for changing my life! I did not know a HT could Change our lives so much! ;-)

Hey Denny , just waiting for your 1 year Update , u r super Lucky bro , U already have stellar results .

I have a question which you can easily answer :

I saw your Pre and Post Operation Photos , and I just wanted to know that did Dr. Edrogan Put in the Grafts in the areas that already had hair in the recipient area ? As I can see that you had a good bit of density already in the frontal Mid Scalp .

And while doing that , did it Harm the existing Hair ? Did all the Original Native Hair in the Recipient area grow Back after shock ? Or you think you Lost some Original Hair due to the implantation of Grafts in the already Hair Areas ?

You have quiet a Lot of exisiting hair Pre -Op , so doing the grafts in thicker areas was Probably done to Increase the Density ,.... I guess , But Please give your inputs and experience !

  7. The Problem with FUE is the yield , and its a blind technique as you cannot see what the punch is doing below the surface and how the follicle is placed , hence many transected grafts in other words useless and wasted , whatever you caution on FUT is True and there is No denying that complications are more than Fue , and even the pain is severe in FUTwhen compared to FUE , Becos hey after all the skin is cut and stitched , But if done with care , it gives you great results , NOT all docs leave the donor open , such accidental mistakes even happen with Fue . I was pro Fue too , But the Results after 1 year are not convincing ... and FUT is Illegal to be performed by Techs ..... I better die from a Doc .... than from his staff !

  8. Hi Mikeey,

Thank you for your response. I understand you have already booked your HT with Dr. Radha and I understand you are not based in India. I seek your insight such as what were your consideration in choosing Dr. Radha for your HT and since I am planing to do my HT by Oct 2015, your inputs will definitely help me a lot.

    hey raj75

I have booked her on recommendation from my friend who had a HT with her last year , his profile name is Loags79 , have a look , u will be amazed with his results !

He has been in touch with me right since the operation day till Now , and I have learnt a Lot from him , He is also not from India But he flew all the way just to get it right !

I suggest you go with radha as she is also from India , and Not only that , she is amazing and in some ways better that Dr. Path , becos she is right through the surgery from Morning till evening ( 10 Hours ) and she only does 1 Procedure per Day , so she is very careful and diligent and Not after Money .

Be diligent its just a 1 time chance if u Miss , you will regret for Life , and whatever anyone says ..... Do FUT , I have done extensive reading and I have concluded that FUT , although a Primitive approach is still the Best in Yield and Results with it are Faster and Thicker .... as FUE Grafts Transect a Lot and they are very "Fragile" , as they have the Fat tissues Missing .... as oppose to FUT where everything is seen and cut .... In My opinion FUE is a Blind Technique !!

  9. wet/damp hair always look thinner than dry. Before growth I shed a lot of hairs and get pimples. 1st shed was mid scalp and left side. 2nd shedding has occured in the hairline and right side. I'm certain I'll have a 3rd and 4th shed before things stabilize. There's nothing for me to worried about. I just thought to share this sort of real world information so others like yourself can understand what happens after HT and not freak out when it happens to them.

Thanks Buddy , This surely is helpful to know , you know that I have booked Radha after seeing your result , although all along you have helped me with all my questions , But I still will be needing your help as my date with dr. radha is in the last week of feb .

I have booked her for FUT as you had advised , she spoke to me and said that she does Fue also , But I said I needed Fut , and she has estimated 2500 grafts for my NW 2 .

  10. Yes on both. A consensus of veterans like me who have looked at a lot of pics and heard a lot of stories is what puts a doctor in the elite class.

Now there is no per se requirement that an elite doctor be expensive, but the laws of economics will make it end up that way. It does not matter how cheap a country an elite doctor comes from. He will charge the most he can get away with. And an elite doctor will charge a lot because his elite reputation gets him business anyway. Therefore, there is one elite doctor in Brazil and one in Thailand. They charge as much as a western doctor even though their expenses are cheaper. That being said, the Indian and (one) Pakistani doctors are so much cheaper than the rest of the world, that if you aren't a millionaire, it may be your optimal choice to go to them. They are not so much inferior as to justify paying more for others doctors who are not so much better. There are definitely people in tax brackets that make choosing Indian doctors the best course. At the same time, if you are a billionaire, you should not go to Bhatti.

It is common for veterans to bark if you bring up cost as a factor. This is because veterans are hobbyists. You will never find a car aficionado recommending a chevy, instead of a trans am, even though a chevy might be the optimal choice because of price. The hobbyists act as if the cheap doctors charge $20, while the expensive ones charge $500, and therefore even for the poorest person, price should not be a factor. But getting 4 HT's will cost $8K from Madhu, the cheapest decent doc, and cost like $100K from Lorenzo. And really the difference between them is not life and death. And really there are people in lower tax brackets. So really for a lot of people, price should matter.

Well for me , without any Offense , to any doctor as such on the recommended forum , I think you cannot put Dr. Bhatti in the same league as Dr. Lorenzo , Dr. edrogan if you are comparing FUE to FUE , they are Miles ahead that Dr. Bhatti ( No offense ) , and they have proven this time and again with RESULTS , Dr. bhatti is an average doctor and not in the elite class , He misses some , gets some .... that is Not elite class and his hairlines are not Modern at all , infact a straight Line almost !

Neither has the patients so far Posted any superlative results , maybe a few , But nothing in comparison to the elite class , I do not know why he jacked up prices immediately after recommendation ..... I think the work shud speak and Not the Price !

And a few have even reported as Not so good experience , The Search Button is your friend , so please check , Many have stopped posting after subpar growth between 4-8 Months .... why u think that happens :)

As for FUT , well my Fav. is Dr. Radha , almost all her patients who are here have demonstrated High Class Results .... That speaks about the quality !

  11. mikeey,

I think my second procedure with Dr Bhatti has also failed however I would wait 9 months as per Dr recommendation to pass any judgement.

I am already in 8th month and I believe you have seen my update in other post. I would be glad if some miracle growth happens in next month.

    Hi eternal ,

sorry to hear that your 2nd HT also failed , If you do not get me wrong , Please can you think of any particular Reason why it failed /? I know its silly and I do not mean to Hurt you in anyways , I understand that we all have dreams of a good HT , But if there is anything that you think made it fail the 2nd time , which one would you attribute to ?

Maybe your knowledge can help us future Patients to learn and gain from your experience , Once again I really ask you not to cause you an pain , But for my own knowledge , as I am contemplating a HT By Feb this Year .
