  1. Mikeey ,

I thing it was one of your posts that I came across on this subject .Have your friends ever been given any feedback from their surgeons ?

    hi Chris39

sorry but both my friends had no logical explaination from their surgeons there were a lot of "maybe" in their outlook and both have given up on another Touch up Hair Transplant for the rest of their Lives , They No longer follow this Game .

Sorry as it may appear , No surgeon is ready to chime in on this one , I would urge the Moderators to ask the doctors to please chime in , there is only some Maybe Tellogen effluvium or Bad blood supply excuse given at the end of the Day .... But that is also quoted as "Maybe" ...... Btw both my friends had no Stress and all their blood work was Normal , and that is the only reason that makes me keep out of Hair Transplant surgery even when I know I desperately Need one .

  2. hi ,

something very similar has been reported by my friends also , they had stellar results till around 14-15 months post op. they had both been very happy , but suddenly after 16-18 months post Op , they started loosing hair that were Transplanted neat the front and midscalp , they had both opted for 3000 + grafts . and till today they have no clue as to what happened? they still Lack density but both have opted out of another roller coaster Hair Transplant .

ONE MOst Important thing to take note is :

Both said they experienced quiet a bit of Itching before the Transplanted hair started thinning , and both were very sure about the hair being of a Transplant , as Both had absolutely Barren front and Midscalps .

If anyone here has any answers to this , Please inform us , so that we can take the necessary action , after all Money that goes in the drain is infact our Hard earned .

  3. I had written this long back , that many people get the grey hair after surgery and that is possibly due to the Trauma , infact i know 1 person who had NO GREY at all and after the HT he had almost very visible Grey hair Through out his recipient sites . So Yes trauma is the cause that makes them depigmented.

  4. hi , I think what you are experiencing is not due to stress or climatic changes , its more to do with the blood supply on your recipient sites , I have had 2 friends who went through a similar shed and loss of density at around 14 months post HT , and they have never regained their amazing HT result they had prior to the 14 months , its got a lot to do with bloody supply , Stress as we all know is an eternal part and reality of this Modern world and there is NO ONE who escapes from stress , if that was really the case then almost all would be bald including women , the stress that really causes it is NOT Mental stress but stress due to surgery where the body have to cope with tremendous repair within the tissues .

HT shed after a while is 100 % due to poor blood supply !

  5. My 2 friends had exactly the same problem as you , BUT they started hair fall after 14 months post HT , and they also thinned severely in the Mid scalp , BUT they had FUE and Not FUT as in your case , and they too has the Best surgeon , one who is still considered the Best even on this site in FUE , But apart from stating that Blood supply could have been the culprit , even he did not have any answers , so maybe a few guys might have some other body functions that cause the shed and balding again.

  6. 2 of my friends experienced this , they did FUE and the growth was great till 14 months post HT , but then suddenly the mid scalp density dropped to 40 % in the next 2-3 months ... and they were again back to their lack of confidence phase , even the docs did not answer that convincingly , surely both docs (1 is almost Numero Uno ) FUE docs said it was due to Lack of blood supply , BUT hey can this happen after 14 months? WHY did the blood supply remain constant till 14 months? if supply was a issue why did they have robust growth till 14 months ... someone can chime their experience on this !

  7. I think in HT , the Hair starts to loose pigmentation , NOT all hair but some hair definitely do , I think thats coz of the trauma to the scalp . I have seen guys having great hair color before they went into a HT and after that when the need hair took root and grew ... they lacked pigmentation/color .

I am sure the online doctors here wud have experienced that on their patients as well ... so it would be great if we can get inputs from the experts here as Greys definitely make you look Older and are more see through .

  8. I think FUE grafts are somehow fragile and damaged in some way so when the body senses that the skin had healed from the surgery and it cuts off the blood supply to normal levels , the original nerves that are punctured by massive FUE grafts never really have the strength to support the already fragile grafts of FUE , once the blood supply is Normalized ! its reality i guess so No denying the fact that so many FUE guys with amazing results are suddenly Loosing all that they gained after 2 years .... oh lord baldness is a Pain in the arse for sure !

  9. hi ,

looks quiet sparse esp. the frontal hairline , But you still have 3 more month to Mature , I dunno if at 9 months that is all the grafts that have grown , But you definitely have some more time for them to Mature and thicken .

Overall at this point its an Average or Less than Average Result considering the amount of grafts they have already used . Not Impressive , but if you are Happy then all that Matters !

  10. hi , well i had in my earlier post informed that d few of my friends had a similar shedding post 14 months , and Yes they did go for FUE .

it seems strange but a lot of guys are witnessing a shedding of Transplanted hair from aprrox . over a year or so after surgery and almost all guys that do complain are the FUE guys .

Also noteworthy is that Dr. Feller had earlier commented on this issue raise by me , that indeed there is a possibility of the body rejecting the FUE grafts as the blood supply gets cut off , I don't know how exact this is !

But the point is that yes we are facing a new issue of Transplanted hair being Lost after a year or so .... the question really is ... DO THEY GROW BACK ?

My friends went from a dense growth to almost skin showing thin hair in just 14 months after FUE and none of the 2 guys have recovered the transplanted hair that they Lost .

we need more inputs on this , from fellow fue guys , pls post your experience esp. if you are 15 months to more , after FUE

  11. hi Shera ,

well my point is that it won't help genetic hair Loss , well i have seen many a chinese men Bald in NY , so maybe its a coincidence or maybe as we are bald ourselves ... our eyes tend to catch the baldies first :))

Anyways I dunno , becos I never tried any herbs or Lotions , but from my vast readings from 10 years I can say with conviction that there is yet No cure to genetic Baldness ... even Propecia can only slow down your loss .... not completely eradicate it from your genes !

  12. hey Raj_jayukdht .

just saw your 12 month result , well I think you shud go in for a 2nd HT as soon as possible , the patches devoid of any hair do impact the overall result as poor !

when the patches will get filled , you will notice a strangely fuller hair , I hope you understand the validity of my point.

Regarding chinese Herb ..... well bro according to me it is just a waste of time , for if there were any such Hebs in china .... NO ONE in China would have gone BALD !!!!

Try Propecia , I think your missing link is hidden in your DHT , surely we cannot say why some hair did not grow , but i suspect its because you never took any FDA drugs .

regarding Loosing hair in your Mid scalp , I had raised that point earlier this Month about 2 of my friends loosing Great HT Results after 14 months as they are having hair loss in sections that were Transplanted i.e. Mid scalp !

you can view the response by Dr. Feller , BTW both had FUE , just do your research buddy as I do not wish to debate on FUT Vs FUE . according to my take I have seen dramatic results in both . But I have been hearing of some loss of results in FUE after a year , and even you have said that you also are seeing Rapid hair loss so maybe we need to educate ourselves further !

  13. too young for 20's , wait till you get around mid 30 , by that time your hair loss will stabilize and you will get a better idea of your loss ..... if you do it in 20's you risk loosing more hair that a yet to fall out due to genetics , and btw I don't like the idea of propecia ... that really sucks the life out of a person .... too much Horror .... but Rogaine yea that is fine .
