  1. Hi hair,I haven't had my procedure with dr Rahal yet.im booked in for may.I was just saying he has a great reputation for hairlines. You have chosen in my view the best two surgeons in the world..like you I will be traveling from overseas the other reason I went with Rahal was he does fue.
  2. I chose Rahal because his hairlines are outstanding and he is a true gentleman of this industry. Dr Hasson is also a legend so its a toss of the coin.
  3. Thanks for your support staggerlee,it means alot to me just knowing I have a few friends out there..Im not sure if I'm allowed to name the doctor but I will say this doctor is not part of the coalitions recommended doctors..
  4. I'd rather not post any photos online.I decided to have a scar revision with dr Rahal later on this year.My girlfriend ripped up the letter when I got home from the surgery.I suppose the main thing I learnt is dont be afraid to travel os to the best doctors in the world.Im from Australia so there isn't much choice down here.and make sure the doctor has some help because fue is very difficult for just 1 person to perform.
  5. Hi arron1134,The reason it took 18 hours was the doctor was a 1person show.no assistants at all.I started surgery at 9 in the morning I didn't get out until 5.30 the next morning. My girlfriend thought i was having an affair so the doctor wrote a letter telling her where I had been.
  6. So I had 500 beard hairs fue into my scar 12 months ago.and it's been a complete falure. It was an 18 hour procedure which was very painfull the doctor bent several needles when trying to penetrate my scar. The grafts were out of my body for 15 hours.here I am a year later and my scar is the same as before.Do you think the time out of the body was too long for the grafts to survive?I tried to ask this question to the Dr but she said grafts can survive up to 24 hours..I emailed this doctor a few times and she won't reply.
  7. Congratulations bonks,That is one of the best results I have ever seen! Results like yours has convinced me to have 1 more go at a transplant.Im booked in with Rahal later this year.congrats again on a great Afro.
  8. I feel bad when you know a celebrity has had a transplant and doesn't admit it.so everyone is guessing did he or didnt he for ages..David Beckham has defiantly had something done medication or hair transplant I'm not sure but it would have been nice to see him come back to the field in the looks department and struggle like the rest of us.In the case of Prince William I would be happy for him.He has walked around long enough looking terrible next to his gorgeous wife.
  9. I saw prince William on the tv last night, and I was thinking why doesn't he get a hair transplant. He would have the money or maybe he is to far gone and would need at least2 procedures with his amount of hairloss I'd say he is a Norwood 5.Do you think he is to far gone to have restoration?
  10. I have thought the same question many times. You would think at least 1 doctor from Australia could make the list of recommended doctors.I have had dealings with Dr Barry White and Angela Woods and I wouldn't recommend either of them.
  11. Thanks for the reply future ht doc,I might have to up my estimate from 40 to 50.Thanks for the insight.I have learnt so much from following this site over the last 5 years or so.
  12. So I'm booked in with Dr Rahal for a procedure in about 3 months.Im really looking to-then.My problem area is the crown.I have measured it and its 8cmx5cm so 40cm squared. How many grafts per square centre meter do you think I should go for?I have been told i can get 2000 grafts fue.I was thinking 40.What numbers per square cm is the normal?this is my first post long time lurker.thanks
