Im right at 3 months post op from a 2700 graft procedure with Dr.Cooley. I must say he and his staff are quite amazing! I just hope my results match my experience so far!
-
Well here I am 2 months post op. I feel as though I've experienced a ton of shockloss but I'm trying to stay positive. I see a few tiny hairs coming in scattered around my hairline but I'm not sure if they are transplanted hairs or natural ones coming back that fell out during the procedure. I ordered some dermmatch and nanofibers so ill be trying those in hopes that ill get some confidence back while I get through this depressing stage of my journey.

Dang bro, your hair looks good! I got to get some of those products I'm just roughing this ugly duck phase and feel like crap! I didn't start using minox because I want to see the results of the ht first. I'm. right there with you hangin in there! Nothing changed here either other then watching shockloss kick my ass! *sigh* -
yes I still have it at 3 weeks post

I'm starting the regenepure shampoo and minox this week. I'm not really sure how long I should wait to use the micro needle roller on my head... I meant to ask Dr.Cooley abou it the other day but forgot to. Anybody used one of these before? You roll it on your scalp before applying the minox to make it absorb better. I hope someone will find some help from this log like the many I read before helped me so much.

Man I think you made a great transformation and you still have a few months of growing left. I would be very happy if I were you.

Just got the numbers today so here's what I ended up with. 1's 430 2's 967 3's 640 4's 75 DFU's 311 Total grafts 2,732 I can't give the total hairs because I'm not sure how many were in the DFU's but counting them I received 232 extra grafts so I can live with that. With that being said, Im back to the waiting game. On a side note its hard getting used to the top of my head being numb lol the things we put ourselves through...

Is 2350 FUE Grafts enough?
Raymond2013 replied to Bones's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
You were right bones, I just found out today and I actually received more then what I expected! It looks like you're going to get a very good result because you already had some really good coverage. Wishing you the best of luck! -
Is 2350 FUE Grafts enough?

How long was it before they told you the amount of grafts were placed? I have been wanting to know how many I got for 3 weeks and they still haven't told me. I am worried that the same thing happened to me. -
I understand you my friend. It is one of the worst feelings a man can go through. I am kinda in the same boat as you and that feeling pushed me to have a FUT procedure done just the other week. Now, I must wait and pray that I get a good result. Will all of my hard earned money be wasted or the fate of my confidence be glorified? Time will tell... I honestly think that you can get your hair back with a large HT and the use of minox and fina daily. You mentioned "on and off" of minox. If you want to benefit from minox you have to dedicate for life because if you don't use it, you lose it. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide to do.

I see tons of good results from Dr.Madhu but a hair transplant is a serious procedure and can have some pretty devastating impacts on your life so do your home work and know what you're getting into. That is a choice you have to make for yourself. Since you're asking for opinions i'll give you mine but don't go off what I say. Going off the results I've seen of others. It looks like you would need to have a couple procedures to be "happy" and get on minox and prop for the rest of your life. If money is not a issue, and your hairloss bothers you like mine does me then go for it. I would at least try the buzzed look for a couple months to see if you can deal with it because at the end of the day even though these HT docs have some of the most advanced technique, there are still sub par results seen often that might, or might not be the surgeons fault. It seems some people just do not respond well to the procedure. So there's still a large risk having it done IMO. Good luck in whatever you choose and I hope the best for you. I would def give that head a shave and go from there!

How-to: Rogaine Foam on Medium Length Hair
Raymond2013 replied to Boba909's topic in Hair Loss Drugs
The use of a micro needle roller can help with the absorption. I plan on using one before I start using minox after my HT heals up completely. Just roll it on the scalp in the desired area then apply the minox. -

I'm not sure on the exact number I received yet, but i'll update my log when I get them. The nizoral is a lot cheaper then other shampoos, but they say to use the 2% and good luck finding it. I didn't like the way it left my hair feeling either. I have the same small little bald spot in the crown which is why I am going to use it. I think that the dropper would be much less of a hassle. Check this guy out. He does some really good reviews of hairloss products and using them. Recommended Products *Edit* I just seen your last post about the scar, how often did you use the ointment and clean the area? If you get the chance, i'd like to see a pic of what you're donor area looks like. They cut a good bit of hair back there so i'm sure that it'll be effortless to hide once it grows back in. Take care. -
Haha, I def know what you mean about the fast forward and I couldn't agree more about the expectations, but i'm sure you've seen some of the horror stories like I have that cause you to fear it. Luckily, we both did a little homework I can't comment on the kirkland minox right now because I haven't used it pre op and I was advised not to use any products until after suture removal. It is the dropper however and it's a lot cheaper than the lipogaine. I'll let you know as soon as I start though.
