Anyone recommend Dr.Diep from California?

Seems there are so many hairmills, scammers, and botchjobs everywhere online maybe we can have a thread with vetted, recommended doctors and their locations. Id love to know which doctors are good to go for hair transplants in the USA and Turkey. Maybe we can list doctors that are vetted and their location?

Haha! Seems like @KM90 just had it done with Erdogan a few weeks ago and it seemed to go well.

I kept hearing that he is the best in Turkey and even a friend who had fue with Cinik last year said that everyone talks about Erdogan. When I made my account here a few days ago I was certain Id go with either Erdogan OR hlc Ankara but from the posts Ive read here Erdogan is not recommended. What's changed? Did he get famous and the quality of work went to shit?

Arent Tech’s experienced in this field? When I got my hairline done years ago when I was 25 with Dr. Dibernardo in New Jersey he drew up the hairline but it was technicians for Neograft (I believe they came from Texas) who did the procedure. At 33 years of age Im not that young in terms of balding as I know people whove been bald since their 20’s. Isnt the whole point of transplants is that the hair being transplanted isnt susceptible to DHT this way it doesn’t fall out when placed on the top of your head? In that case I do not understand why Fina is still recommended? Ive known 2 people who used Fina. One was very depressed from it and the other had libido and sex issues. Doesnt seem worth it to me. I always understood the point of hair transplants were to pay for a procedure that will give you a head of hair for life. What am I missing here?

@portugal25 I was actually looking at HLC Ankara the results seem really good! Is Ankara a bad area? I thought Erdogan was the best and does the procedure himself? My friend had 4,000 grafts done with Dr.Cinik this past summer but it was with Cinik’a assistants and while its filling in, the crown area looks thinning. If I didnt know him I would think his crown is thinning as opposed to a man who got a transplant. I want a FUE where you cant see my scalp and I also wont want to be taking Fina etc. I want to have hair transplant and forget about it kinda thing. I dont mind higher end Turkey prices but American prices are around $8-10 per graft which is too much

I am located in New York but everyone I contacted is charging about $8-10 per graft so I am thinking to go to Turkey. In 2013 when I was 26 I got 1,200 grafts on my hairline (photo attached) as it was receding. I got it done via FUE Neograft. Now I am 33 and in the last year my scalp has gotten noticeably thin and I am tired of doing a comb over because for while it did the trick but now its gotten worse and hard to hide. Here are some photos. Also I was born with 2 cowlicks. I emailed Dr. Koray Erdogan and his assistant gave me a questionnaire and the vibe I got was that if I dont agree to take Finasteride then he wont do the procedure. I dont want to be on Fina as I know people that have had bad side effects. I thought the whole point of a transplant is to finally forget about hair issues not to continue Fina after getting it done.

I am going to be 26 yrs old this month and for the last 2 years noticed slight receding hairline. I notice it more now because it's hard to make hairstyles like I used to do.
