In Brazil right now is high 80’s super hot. How can one not wear a hat post surgery and risk the sun damage on top of head I will need to fly back day 2 post op.. any worry about facial or head swelling and also flying 10+ hours to the states (air pressure effecting swelling etc)

Thank you for your help! What I meant in (1) was the safety of the area. I have heard that Brazil is dangerous especially for tourists

I have some RU58841 from chemyo that I bought last year and just started on 1ml last night on my scalp along with 5mg of oral minoxidil. Does the RU have to be refrigerated because I put it in the bathroom closet. Also I noticed on Anigeninc they have 2 RU’s one with KB Solution as carrier and one with PG+Ethanol. Which one is more effective at delivering the RU to the scalp? Just wondering which of the 2 sources of RU is better if anyone here has experience

If I was to go with Dr.Pitella I would chose the option for him to do the full surgery. After having 2 FUT’s in NY that Im not thrilled about I would want him to do the max amount of grafts he possibly can . For those who went to either Pitella or Eugenix how safe did the travel feel? Ive heard some stories about Brazil and tourist safety but again those are stories lol

The FUE in Manhattan quote was from Carlos Wesley? My first 3k graft surgery with Bloxham was during the pandemic and I was afraid to go to Turkey for unknown fear or getting stuck or if something went wrong that I would be thousands of miles away from home. In the last 2 years Ive seen 2 friends get 3-4k fue grafts in Turkey with good results (obviously need a 2nd surgery for more coverage) while paying a 3rd of what I paid at Bloxhams and without the FUT scar. However maybe I had unrealistic hopes? Right now I look like a diffuse thinner. Maybe if I never got the 2 FUT’s with him then I wouldve been a completely bald norwood 6/7 by now, who knows. Just feels like I look the same now as before the 2 FUT’s but maybe I wouldve lost all those diffuse thinned hairs completely by now so I dont know. I just feel I could have saved $24k (14k and 10k) and did better research and waited a little

What do Dr.Patella and Dr.Sethi charge per graft and how long is their wait time? Also do they do package like clinics in Turkey with hotel/flight etc

Im in NYC and had 2 fut’s with him for a total of 3,900 grafts. If I could do it all over again I woulda waited and gone to someone for fue. Now I have the scar (covered by hair) while also looking like not much was transplanted

Agreed with what you said. That’s why I keep trying to reach Dr.Zarev to no avail. He seems like the only choice at this point

Like who? Just trying to decide if I should wait 2 long years for Zarev or try someone else while my friends are in Turkey (one is getting fue from Cosmedica) in November

For a NW6 realistically how many grafts needed to look like you have a full head of hair? Also aside from Dr.Zarev in Bulgaria who has the best results doing FUE on NW6 ?

Any fans of Dr.Acar and Cosmedica? A friend of mine is going to Turkey to get FUE from Cosmedica in November and I am thinking to tag along maybe get a consultation see how many grafts I have left. I had back to back FUT’s in 2020,2021 for a total of 4,900 grafts in New York and am not happy with the result. Coverage is kinda crappy and you can still see through the scalp from the top. However this might be because 4,900 grafts isnt that much for dense coverage on a Norwood 6. Ideally I want another surgery this time FUE with Dr. Zarev in Bulgaria as his results seem second to none plus donor area will be limited. However i hear theres a 1.5-2 year wait for him and he also hasn’t replied to IG msg’s and emails.

I kept trying to contact Dr.Zarev via emails and IG and zero luck. I dont get how he doesnt have secretaries working on emails and IG. Seems a bit unprofessional in this regard

Is anyone coming in Turkey as good as Dr.Zarev? I dont wanna wait 2 years for my 3rd and ideally final surgery
