The frontal density is ok but the mid scalp to crown is quite thin due to progressive hair fall. I'd have to take a call on how to style the hair for a natural look. I might go for a buzz cut in the future.
You should go for beard hair as it really beefs up the hairline but they will be a little wiry than scalp hair.
From the pic that you posted it looks like a very aggressive and significant lowering. Just be sure of low you'd want to keep your hairline. If you've always had a high forehead, I'd recommend do not change it drastically. Preserve the grafts for any requirements in the future.
Best of luck.
I am glad that my experience helped you shortlist your doctor of preference
I only had single day sessions for both my surgeries. But I met people at his clinic with 3000+ grafts spread over 2 days. I suggest if you are not too keen for the surgery spilling over to 2 days you should request the doc and I am sure he'll accomodate..... just push back a little
Do not worry too much about the number of days….. Your HT is a permanent change thus do whatever is required to get the best possible result.
My recommendation on beard hair - go ahead with it! It adds tremendous density to the hairline
Thanks taurus.
I visited a good dermatologist and the scalp flaking is 99% gone! The treatment is a mix of meds (mostly vitamin A,E and zinc supplements), shampoos and applications. It's like it was never there
Thanks avivaLA.
For some strange reason my mid-scalp grafts did not grow after the first procedure and thus Dr. Bhatti gladly re-did the mid-scalp for me free of cost. Since I had to undergo another procedure, I also utilised it to get my crown work done as well.
