  1. This looks fantastic! We definitely don't see much from other parts of the globe. Please be sure to keep us posted with your results!
  2. I personally have had a surgery with Dr. Feller, to an overall positive experience, although I am still waiting for a full year to analyze my overall results. Growth has been slow. I consulted also Dr. Dorin and he also seemed like a capable and excellent doctor. Both would be a great choice, imo.
  3. are there any immediate post op pics? i'm curious to see them. cheers on your great results mate!
  4. you and I seem to be in the same ballpark beginning with our hairlines. I hope to look around the way you do when I'm at 9.5 month. although, you got nearly 1000 more grafts. Only time will tell!!
  5. Because it looks silly having the front portion of your hair basically shaved anyway. I let it grow out long so I could comb it to the front and go to work without it being noticeable. Once I healed and my natural hair grew around the area to a reasonable length, I decided to shave it off.
  6. I'm at about the 3.5 month mark. Things are thickening up and growing quite nicely in my opinion! On one side the scar is healing a bit weird and looks like it went hypertrophic. I kind of relate that to my own physiology though, and it's no big deal as I have my barber carefully cut around it at around a number three and it isn't noticeable.
  7. I had a horrible result from NuHart. Forget this spammer!
  8. Chrisdav or spex. Are there any immediate post op pics? I'd like to see the graft placement Dr. Feller did. Thanks!
  9. There could be several reasons. Maybe the grafts weren't taken from the "safe zone" in the back of your head and were programmed to fall out. Maybe the surgeon transacted the hair follicle.
  10. What an excellent hairline! I had a surgery done by Feller also, and if I have results like this at 7 months, I'll be doing backflips and praising Dr. Feller's name in song from the highest mountain top.
  11. 2 month mark below. I'm a bit worried about the donor scar on the right side of my head, which seems to have stretched quite a bit and is still red and quite visible. The rest of the scar is healing fine and undetectable. Also, on a positive note, it looks like I'm experiencing some early growth, even at this early stage. This is particularly true on the left side of my head.
  12. Don't touch your head for the first three of four days. Following that, only very gently. By day 10 grafts are firmly in place.
  13. I was told the same thing by Dr. Feller. I went ahead and did some weight lifting, including bench, squats, etc. Scar is healing fine, but it looks like it stretched a tad. If I'd do it again, I probably would of taken it a bit more easy.
  14. Holy crap! Home run over here, looking awesome and what a difference!
  15. Could there be inflammatory effects due to the surgery post op? I have been noticing my scalp has been more itchy and tingly lately... I just bought some Nizoral shampoo for the first time. Let's see if it works. Any other suggestions would be welcomed.
  16. About 4 weeks ago. As you can see from the picture, there is diffuse thinning all over my scalp following the HT. That wasn't there before, I was thinning around my hairline, which is where I got my HT. I've been on propecia for about a year.
  17. Hey guys, It looks like a lot of my natural hair is being lost all over the crown and top of my scalp following an FUT at my hair line. Is this normal? Isn't hair loss supposed to be up and around the recipient sites? Thanks to anyone who answers my questions.
  18. Hey Josh, It looks like from your pictures you and I, more or less, are working with the same amount of hair. Although, you seemed to get many more grafts then me. I do have unruly, thick, curly hair though, so I'll just attribute less grafts to that. About two weeks after my staples were removed, I started applying silicon based scar cream and it seems to be fading the redness a bit. Also, I'm taking a vitamin C supplement (very high dose), which assists the skin with the formation of collagen. Good luck!
  19. I'm glad you found your meeting with Dr. Feller to be a positive one. I can see how his personality can instigate some polarizing. I found him to be very confident during our consultation, even a bit too confident which may come off as tad cocksure. I decided to jump ahead into the surgery despite this. I'm glad I did, because overall, the experience was great with him, and so far I'm pleased with the surgery. But I'm still in the early stages so I will just let the results speak for themselves.
  20. I think you have a great hairline for your age and you can really tell the difference! Try using some propecia/minoxdil. Who knows, maybe it'll thicken? Or you can use some toppik?
